I'm aware, I'm saying when I think about it I can't think of ever seeing Valkyries and flying horses.

It's fairly prevalent. They ride pegasi in D&D (which is why my conversion is as such), there is a Boris Vallejo painting with them on winged horses. They showed up in Samurai Jack on flying horses. And, I think there may have been a Disney or Warner Brother's cartoon with them on horses as well... I can't think of what specific one, though.

Moving on...

note that the flying wolves of myth do not have wings. They just run in the sky. So does Sleipnir.

For comic book reference to valkyrie on pegasi, look at the Thor series, and the Asgardian Wars story arc of Alpha Flight/X-men/New Mutants.

:!: The tentacles, themselves, are pretty dangerous, they can protect Otto with their Interpose feat, and help each other with their ridiculous Teamwork feats.

Thats a really cool Doc oct build. Id like to see a pre-removal build. Early early Octopus. Hes always been one of my favourite villains. Oddly though i never thought of his concept as possible hero..but i mayjust have to do some like that..maybe a engineering genius sidekick, The Incredible Squid Boy. hmm Ideas. verrah nice build

I am unsure of what you mean by "pre-removal build."

All of my Marvel builds are based on the character descriptions from the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition printed in the 80s.

my memory of doc octs story he was fused with his tentacle-harness and later had it surgically removed? id be interested to see how that is portrayed as an MnM character. Remember I'm new:P i have a small idea of how to do it but id be interested in a vets take on it.

Oh, okay...

That is simple enough to handle. All you have to do is buy all the Powers in his Device Container outright, without using the Container. His Powers outside the Device Container would equal 71 points (Speed = 3pp, Summon = 64pp, Super-Movement = 4pp).

I'm sure there is somewhere... but not on MY thread. I hate that whining little b!+@#. As for Drow characters, I rather enjoy the Drow Tales webcomic. Their drow society makes much more sense than any presented by D&D.

I actually enjoyed him (the half a book I read), but then I got pulled on to other matters and never finished it. Anyways, I enjoyed the builds (that I was here for :)).

There's a build for the 80 year-old virgin over on Taliesin's thread:

Drizzt Do'Urden
Iron Kingdoms Conversions
