Adapting this from a Champions resource.

Lots of work to be done though!

Funny - I made one of these for an adventure I'm writing.
Not exactly the same, but the same spirit.

I'm thinking of using this chart in two ways. Firstly when making an attack roll you cross reference your die roll to the chart and see whereabouts it hits/misses i.e. it's purely a descriptive aid.

The second option, which I'm working on, is to use the chart for critical hit effects rather than just adding five to the Toughness save DC.

Some of the conditions I'm considering using to replace the +5 critical hit bonus:

Blinded
Dazed
Exhausted
Fatigued
Flat-Footed
Helpless
Nauseated
Panicked
Paralyzed
Shaken
Sickened
Slowed

They'll obciously be based upon the severity of the normal attack result AND where the attak lands on the body i.e. a strike to the head could leave the opponent Dazed.

Just threw on a few ideas of what conditions could be inflicted by a critical hit. Still some gaps to fill in and probably changes to be made.

I would just like to point out where you put the six on the body. Thats pure poetry man (Silverback)!

I'm guessing you knew Six is sex in Latin.

Fascinating. 8)

I've popped in all the possible suggested conditions redulting from a Critical Hit on a particular part of the body. Would welcome any constructive feedback.

Hi Silverback, I dont think it is horrible but I think IMHO it is not in the spirit of M&M? That is just my take on it as it appears to me to slow the game down. Now I have not tried it per se but I just dont think it fits in with the feel of M&M.

Okay, I am confused on the Crit chart. Are you supposed to use the number on the d20 that you rolled for the To-Hit?

If that is correct, then you will almost always be hitting them in neck or the head. I don't know about anyone elses game, but I do not like the idea of my players have improved the crit range much beyond 18 (if that) because it makes the game very imbalanced.

Maybe we should have the player roll a separate d20 to find out where it hits?
