Any time. Though to be honest you could easilly bring any of The Guard over form SAS, to Freedom City, with very little effort.


True, but I like to place characters from established settings in their own Universe, within my Omniverse. While I admire the efforts of Rhialto and Davies, I couldn't keep track of all the characters if I placed every Superhero RPG in one setting, although it would make for interesting stories.

Added profile updates to Valkyrie, Demona, and Gun Wraith.

Ill be adding profiles to the other as fast as I can type.

Also updated Deunan's profile at the suggestion of servitor to add some personal gear to her.

I might try and stat up some landmates soon. there a lot of work. because their personal powered armor, but treated as equipment. also their near PL breakers because of what they allow Deunan, and briarios to do.

Whew. She was a toughy but I finally managed to clean her up. And provided what I personally feel is amore versatile and even more pwoerful version.

The key lay in arraying several of her abilities, and moving a lot of extraneous stuff under the heading of the alternate form. USing the escriptors of changing into an unstoppable warrior, and the beautiful picture provided.

so breaking her down. I provided in the quote section a look at her normal human form. Shes got incredible saves due to the mystic forces watching over her. and the rest is just normal skills, and such you'd expect from a rare book dealer. Especially one that deals in ancient and arcane lore.

next She can transform into the Seraphim Angelus. An ancient and terriblly beautiful near god of war. This opens up incredible physical and mental abilities. And each ability has a veritable host of feats that can be used on the field of battle.

Everything from leadership, and inspire, to power attack, and all out attack.

She’s supposed to be something of a very tough scrapper, or something of a leader in combat. She’d rather take a hit and respond in kind over dodging


From this quote I arrived at her defence and toughness. With a toughness of 12 she can "hang with the big boys quite nicely. Trust me on this I have a character with +12 toughness and no impervious toughness go toe to toe with the Absorbing Man and win. It is nothing to sneeze at. +6 of her toughness is impervious, which means shell regularly boucne machine gun fire and light explosives.

Lastly her two special abilities.

First her Pride of the sun/strength of heroes ability

She can do one of two things. Either she can Channel her godlike power into incredible strength (a total of 46 for lifitng purposes )

Or she can Summon her Sword "The Pride of The Sun" The Pride is an incredibly powerful sword whcih only the wielder of the Angelus power can use. It can slice open a battleship like a can opener, and the experience of a 1000 warriors flows into the wielder. (hence the attached feats).

As noted she does have the critical strike feat targeted at True evil doers. this is just a filler description since I see her being able to Critical hit undead, demons, and all manner of foulness. The GM well have to handle this one at his discretion. All she needs to do is spend one of the 3 hero points she starts with to gain the favored enemy feat and voila instant critical.

Lastly She has the Mandala of Heaven. (the golden shiny halo around her head) This aura gives her several important abilities as she needs them.

First the abilitiy to "See all things" this is true sight from UP which does the following True Sight (vision, Counter concealment, counter illusion, counter obscure (all), detect hidden), and gives her a Danger Sence. Both of which penetrate dimensional barriers (dimensional power feat)

second: She can speak to and understand (languages, animals, and spirits) This is any language she comes across at all, alien, chuthulu, etc. She can also read any language at all. no matter how old or ancient it is.

third and finally, Ever hear the term Terribly beauitiful? Well here it is. She can take on a demeanor that is so Terrfiying that anyone within 55 ft of her well be horrified and sent packing. She doesnt become a terrifying monster though. Instead her beauty becomes trully terrifying to behold.

Remeber Galadirel in LOTR? thats how she looks at that moment she uses that power. Bright and Beautiful and Terrifying as the Dawn.

Lastly she can use the Mandala of Heaven, or her pride of the sun arrays to stunt numerous power feats. Anything from (healing, regeneration, to blasts of holy light etc etc) teh Possibilites are limited only by your imagination and of course the GMs consent.

So print her up as a character sheet and smite the evildoers you.

Ok and here we have gauntlet. Mystically empowered hero. A powerful if somewhat lazy hero but one with a butt load of "I Dont Quit", and a goddess in his corner.

some notes:

:arrow: Gauntlets powers come from the mystically powered piece of the goddess Isha's Armor that fell to earth thousdands of years ago. with out it he's a normal albeit still heroic boy.

The powers of the gauntlet include: enhanced strength, and the ability to project a shield of glowing energy in the shape of the rest of the missing armor ((as a picture imagine his arm encased in the gauntlet while a glowing transparent hologram of mystic armor surrounds the rest of him)).

:arrow: Hes immune to any light based descriptor attack. this includes lasers, dark light, infared, photonic blasts(concussion), and visual dazzle effects with a light descriptor. he can stare into the sun all day long and the only responce youll get from him is "ooo shiney"

:arrow: His true sight is very special. it enables him to do the following: automatically see through any concealment, illusion, or obscure effect. see through any disguised creature (including shapeshift, morph etc), and see any deliberatley hidden or concealed item or person (hidden doors, traps etc) the gm may require a notice check for especially hidden items.

:arrow: Ishas light attack array is pretty self explanatory but for simplicity. the blast is just that a simple blast with a light effect.

the burst is the same but has the explosion effect and originates from him. this attack cannot be fired at range it has a range of touch

the dazzle can be fired at range but has a smaller area of effect

the healing power is very powerful but can be very draining on him. note every time he uses this power he is automatically exhausted after every use. which means he must spend time resting.

that being said it can revive the entire team and any innocent bystanders in the area around him. including bringing them back from death.

the last one is the environmetal control. this requires a little explanation. he can cover an area of 25 ft with a light as bright as sunlight (light at 2 pp per rank) also at the same time he can reduce visibility to visual,( causing a -4 to notice search etc form the bright light); also at the same time he radiates in that 25ft area of light a feeling of calm and hope (emotion control) which has a dc of 14.

this can have several benficial side effects, such as calming a bad situation for diplomacy to work, or making panicking people calm down so they can evacuate an area calmly.



:arrow: I figued his skills to be those of a typical teenager, he's acrobatic, has knowledge of pop culture, and can drive a motorcycle. he swims and is an acrobat for school. but more importantly he's what the gals considder a hunk,(attractive) and he's very good at talking his way out of trouble (distract with bluff) use this to your advantage.

last an explanation of the cool power feat: this is a feat taken from The Hero High source book. and thought it was perfect for him.

Cool Skill/ranked
You have a certain something (style, calm attitude, etc) thatworks on anyone udner the age of 20+. When making a check for an interaction skill(bluffm, di plomacy etc) involving teens you get a +5 bonus. adaults (20+) are immune to this, and your bonus cant go higher then the campaign limit. each new rank adds a new skill (diplomacy, bluff, dusguise, gather info, perform, handle animal, perform, intinidate)

:arrow: I left the issue of the goddess being able to speak through the glove vague as I belive the Gm can use it as a plot device for the moment. Simply put the goddess speaks through it to him and occasionally guides him or if neccesary gives him a little motivation.

because of her control over the gauntlet this made it easier to justify it as a device since the goddess can take it away any time she sees the need to.

Background:
Shiro Nakamura was an ordianry everyday teen. he was popular handsome, and loved by all the gals and envied by all the boys. his teachers were frustrated by him because he was very smart and showed great potential, but was also very lazy and a bit self absorbed.

but he showed flashes of greatness in him when he resuced a couple of classmates from a fire. this was his life and it was good.

Shiro though couldnt quite place though what was really bugging him. something in his dreams called out to him. and he longed to find it.

And find it he would. 1000s of years ago the goddess Isha traveled the world. along the way she met and befriended the goddess Ameratsu. after a brief but fun rivalry the two parted friends and gave each other gifts. Ameratsu emparted some of her homeland's immortality to Isha so she would be recognized and worshipped in Japan as an manifestation of Ameratsu herself.

Isha in turn granted Ameratsu a gift of a sword of pure light, and the promise that if a champion ever arose that met her qualifications that champion would aid Japan and the world.

the pact thus sealed Isha resumed her travels. eventually Isha was injured in battle aginst a dark entity and was forced to leave the earth behind. In the process her armor was stripped form her by her leaving and the pieces fell to earth in various locales around the world where they were hidden or worshipped by the burgeonning human race.

the Cult of Isha intially a kind and benevolent cult. tried very hard to get all the artifacts together in order to enable Isha to return to earth.

they nearly succeeded but time and age caught up with them. the cult grew more and more desparate and more and more dark and evil in their methods. Eventually Isha turned her back on them horrified at the corruption of her ideals of hope and love and light.

in order to keep the corrupted cultists from finding the last piece of the armor she lead Shiro by dreams and visions to a small cave by the sea and a statue of Isha herself. their the cultists captured Shiro and performed a ritual designed to sacrifice him to Isha in order to control and harness the goddess's powers. but Isha was a tricky goddess, and she enabled Shiro to awaken in the course of the ceremony. where she grafted a portion of the armor (the gauntlet) to his arm. then with a kiss to his forhead she said to him "Go out and be my champion upon this world."

With that Shiro rose from the sacrifical altar surrounded in a glowing nimbus of light. lashing out he blasted all the cultists into unconsciousness and escaped into the night to begin a new super hero career.

Background & History
"Your mother died when you were very little." At least that's what Devon's Father allways told her when she'd ask about her mom.

For the first decade of Devon Alexander's life. People called her a regular hellion. She got into all sorts of mischief and though she had a good heart, her firey temper lead her into more and more trouble as time went on. Her father was patient and stern in turns as needed, and slowly brought her more wicked impulses under control. It wasnt untill her 16th birthday, and a particularly rough run in with the law though, That Devon's Father finally told her the truth. Her mother had not died. According to Michael her mother was in fact a demonic succubus who had tricked him into marriage so she could get pregnant with a half demon child who'd spread chaos and misery on earth.

This truth broke her of her bad habits in a heartbeat. Their was no way she was going to be a pawn in some evil Demon-B***h's plan!! Many people including the police called it a miracle. She began doing volunteer work, and anything else to help her community. Devon started taking martial arts lessons with a wise old sifu who helped her focus her anger into discipline. She rededicated herself to her school work and went to college. It was in college that her true calling came to her.

While walking home with a friend from a late night study session. a purse snatcher grabbed her friends purse and took off. Devon had allways tried to hide the fact that she was stronger & faster then normal people. But the brutality of the snatching and her friends tears ignited that famous temper of hers. She chased down the mugger and proceeded to beat the snot out of him, while getting her friends purse back.

After that becoming a costumed crime fighter was an easy decision. It was the perfect career choice. Since it combines her love of thrills, with her strong sence of justice, and desire to do good. Since her favorite color was red, she designed a red costume and with it, and her customized motorccyle "Dragon" she took to the streets, and has been fighting crime ever since.

Pesonality & motivation

A serious thrillseeker and almost but not quite adrenaline junky. Scarlett enjoys crimefighting to an extreme. She really wants to do good and has a strong moral compass thanks to her father. but she also has a terrible temper and in a stressful situation can go berserk. Doing good deeds seems to help alleviate the worst of her temper.

Scarlett is a more reactive Crime fighter then Dark Angel. (see above) She doesnt tend to hunt criminals preferrng to stop crimes as they happen

Afte years of fruitless dating Devon's come to the conclusion that men are mostly worthless. She simply doest feel theirs a Mr. Right out their for her, and consequently has stopped looking. But perhaps a fellow hero who's handsome and smart can change her mind.

Powers & Tactics

Scarlet would appear to be in many ways a typical costumed crimefighter. Smart, fast, graceful. A skilled martial artist and detective. What trully sets her apart though is her Demonic heritage. Shes Superhumanly stronger, faster, and tougher, and can regenerate damage when enraged. She puts these abilities to good use in combat. She's so fast in fact that she cant be seen running just appearing as a blur if at all. She can also channel her demonic side to allow her to possess great strength, or to leap amazing distances.

Most noticeably though is She is absolutley 100% drop-dead gorgeous (She could easilly make millions of dollars on the catwalk as a professional model, and has done some to pay the bills) She can be incredibly seductive if she wants to be, literally wrapping men and women around her little finger with a glance or a pout. Or she can show her Demonic side a little and absolutely terrify them (as she's had to do on more then one occasion with an overzealous suitor).

Her half demonic nature shows up in her aura as a tinge of red hellfire. While not many people can see auras. A noted demon hunter can and is sure she's up to some malignant plot to destroy humanity. he intends to expose her to prove demons exist, and then destroy her.

Unlike most crime fighters Scarlet doesnt go in for fancy gadgets or weapons. She tends to rely on her own superhuman abilities. one exception is her custom built motorcycle. She loves motorcycles and loves riding them fast even better. Shes got a preternatural talent for fast vehicles, and is an extremely skilled driver. Shes been known to keep a badly damaged vehicle on the road long after it should have been taken to the scrap heap.

Appearance

Devon Alexander is a stunningly gorgeous Causcasian woman who stands 5' 10" 125 lb. With legs that go on forever, and a perfectly proportioned body to make Michaelangeloe's Venus de milo jealous. Devon has long waist length hair thats a shade of red that most girls can only get out of a bottle. She tends to wear it in a pony tail or a braid down her back to keep it out of the way.

As Scarlet she wears a full light red leather body suit with Darker red gloves and boots which provides some protection. She also wears a red half face cowl that ties in the rear with 2 dangling ties. She also wears a red helmet with a flame job on it.

Her Custom Motorcyle dragon is a combination black, dark red and bright flame red with a slightly demonic appearance to it. She loves that bike and constantly works to maintain it in perfect working order.

Campaign uses

Scarlet would make a great ally for the PCs as either a reporter able to get facts and information they dont have, and as a crime fighting partner who can hold her own nicely vrs most street types. She could also conceivably be a romantic interest for a PC in game. She would also fit in well with the Birds of Prey. Her demonic mother is still out there and may very well someday come for Devon to try and tempt her towards the side of evil.

The Black Canary. The sweet swinging Butt kicking top field agent of the Birds of Prey. Shes drop dead gorgeous and ballsy enough to Stand toe to toe with slade and put a finger in his good eye for him even though it cost her a broken arm to do it.

:arrow: Designed her with the total pacakge brains, brawn and looks. Shes a skilled street lvl hero, capable of sweeping mooks like nobodies business. She cna hold her own in an investgation though she generally tend to defer to Babs skills and insight.

:arrow: Her Canary Cry was designed very similar to other builds on this forum. As I agree with their designes whole heartedly. A touch ranged, Cone area effect that she can maintain by concentraing.

Itll wear her down if she keeps it up too long, but as powerful as it is she shouldnt need too.

:arrow: Lastly she's one of the few that I think deserves the 2 ranks of attractive. Shes just got that total package, a great body, face, self confidance, and way of carrying herself that just draws you to her. Heck no wonder Olly fell for her.

Taking a Swing at The Umbrella Academy for Sunbear.

Design notes. These characters are going to be barebones with a touch of my own personal inspiration thrown in. Simply because I havent read the series. And Theirs very little information available that I can find.

The Characters well all be PL 8 - 10 And well bebuilt at or close to 120-150 pp.
