Ooops... I corrected my design. He has a strength of 10 and a few skills. He did not demonstrate very many skills in the movie, so I figured I'd keep him light on the skills.

BESTIARY: CHIMERA

Image

CHIMERA
PL: 12 (150 pp)

ABILITIES: STR: 10 (0) DEX: 16 (+3) CON: 12 (+1) INT: 18 (+4) WIS: 16 (+3) CHA: 18 (+4)

SKILLS: Acrobatics 4 (+7), Bluff 4 (+8 ), Concentration (+3), Diplomacy 8 (+12), Disguise (+4), Escape Artist (+3), Gather Info (+4), Handle Animal (+4), Intimidate (+4), The Planes 4 (+8 ), Life Sciences: genetics 4 (+8 ), Notice (+3), Search (+4), Sense Motive 1 (+4), Stealth (+3), Survival (+3)

FEATS: Attractive (1), Equipment (2), Inspire (1), Leadership, Eidetic Memory

POWERS:
*Chemical Control [10] - DC:20:fort
(AP) Blast (Chemical Fire) [10] - DC:25:tough
(AP) Snare [10] - DC:20:ref
(AP) Variable Effect Pool (Chemical Reactions) [10]

COMBAT: Attack 0 [Unarmed +0 (Bruise)] Defense 10 (10 flat-footed) Init 3

SAVES: Toughness 1 (1 flat-footed) Fortitude 1 Reflex 3 Will 3

 This is the leader of the Bestiary and one of the more..."intersting" conversions. I tried to convert the character over, point for point and honestly, he comes out rather underpowered.

 The Variable Effect Pool (Chemical Reactions) is designed to mimic the fact that CHimera can work up almost any chemical reactiopn he wants. He brews up some lighter-than-air gas and presto he is gliding around. He can heal himself or heal others, etc etc etc...
I think that when i am done, Chimera will be the first one to have a remake.

 The final member of the Bestiary. They are now complete and hopefully converted over to M&M 2e as faithfully as I could.

 I hope to now rework each one and bring them up to 2e editions.. not just conversions.

 Ok.. I reviewed the character and I ended up buying the "Durability for both Physical and Energy damage. I figure that he is supposed to be this unstoppable brute so what the heck... I'll make him a little harder to beat down.

Nice to see the Meta-4 villains getting some work. I have the crooks! book but it is not useful with 2E without a little work.

Keep up the work! :D

Thanks for the feedback...

Like I have said before... the conversions are as literal as I can make them. This means that a few of the builds are coming out below the level caps.. some very underpowered (Chimera)

Once I finish the base characters, I want to go back and tweak them up to a full 150 pts. I hope to label them something like Chimera 2.0 or something like that.

I have also thought of making a second generation of characters using the same powers.... A homage to the original characters.

Keep watching for more...

That is good to know.... I was afraid that I was missing something...

My computer is being sent back to the shop for some work... Gotta love warranties. So that means I will probably not be posting unless I can get my old computer up and running.

Stay tuned....

Same Emerald Time...

Same Emerald Channel.....

Or something like that...

I finished and posted the final two characters for the Bestairy... Manticore and Behemoth.

I hope to go back and polish each one to use the full allotment of points for their levels.

Enjoy

Not bad. I'd bring Behemoth up a couple of PL's...he was breaking caps all over the place in the first version.

One quibble: Bestiary, not Bestairy.:) I before A.

quixk question: why are you paying so much for Behemoth's immunity to lethal damage?? it's only a lvl 20 immunity, and the limited flaw makes it worth 10pp...
