yes...and then they introduced Warpath...and have yet to give him a decent story arc after "Rise and Fall of the Shiar Empire". However, his mutant powers are still coming in, and growing...at least according to Marvel.

I knew a band that changed their name to " Grizzly Bear Cub Destroyer".

I would assume that that would be one of the things that would offend a bear....because, having to live up to a name like that....you would eventually reap the harvest of destroying grizzly bear cubs...and I am not talking about PETA

also...i think the "god of bands" would kill them....cuz thats just a terrible name all around....I tell that story to other bands at concerts like we were roasting marshmellows and telling bad ghost stories.

Allapattah isn’t sure if he’s a gator who grew up shaped like a man, or a man born within the hide of a gator, who gets bigger and stronger every year. This is him at age 12. He was raised by a secluded group of Seminoles who still live in the Everglades…they claim him as kin, and have never told him whether he was born one of them or found. He doesn’t care. He protects his family, and the swamps. Woe unto the unwise outsider who trespasses in his territory.

He’s villain and hero at once, depending on point of view. He's also seven foot six of black plated hide with a mouth full of razors. Yummy.

Raven is a fully trained Cherokee medicine woman (“Cherokee,” she scoffs, “We are the Ani Yunwiyah, the Principle People.”) She’s also a cop, a member of the Atlanta chapter of the A.M.P. (American Metahuman Police). She’s been on the job 8 years, and she’s good at it.
She works with Rebel, Stone, and Troubleshooter on a daily basis.

Her eidetic memory comes from a shaman's memory training. It comes in handy for criminal investigations.

She also laughs often, and rarely for any reason anyone else can tell. Her fringed leather jacket is very obviously heavily reinforced and armored…she doesn’t know any combat magic, so she relies on her service pistol and her bullet-proof vest if she’s forced into a fight.

She’s a good looking Cherokee (scoff) woman in tight jeans, the aforementioned jacket, and a white button up shirt. She doesn’t wear a lot of Native American jewelry, but she does wear a power wheel on a silver chain around her neck, under her shirt. She wears sensible brown running shoes.

T.J. (don’t use my first two names) Sparks is a natural born pyrokinetic and electrokinetic. When the AMP was first formed, she was an early recruit. She’s been on the job almost 10 years, now. She’s slim, a little hard faced. Her red hair is tied back in a severe bun. She always wears jeans, red blazer, a dress shirt, and her bullet proof vest. She’s got a wide variety of ranged options, and she prefers to use them from cover, like any experienced cop.

Her Absorption only works on Electricity, and she did not pay for the Impervious Protection portion because she was already immune.

She’s had three partners. All of them quit because of her temper. One became a super villain.

Myron Washington was a highly decorated officer of the A.M.P. before he was partnered with Sparks. They had a few high profile busts together, before Sparks realized something… Wash was as crooked as they come. The rest of the force didn’t know, because Wash had been editing their memories. Some of the people he had busted had had their memories edited, too…some of them had been innocent fall guys for him and his partners. Think an African American version of Vic Mackey from the Shield TV series, but without any real motivation to oppose crime in general. Now give him mind control and permanent mental re-write ability. And no one knew, because even the telepaths on the force had to really strain to get past Wash’s shields. (Which, by the way, were the only power he admitted to having. Made him really useful on psi detail.)

The fact is, Wash is (and was) a crime lord, a mastermind and a manipulator, working, untouchable, within the police…until Sparks exposed him, with Laughing Raven’s help and a psi suppression rig built by Mentech, the psi department’s resident techno-wizard. He got way, and has been working from the shadows ever since. His knowledge of police (especially A.M.P.) tactics serves him in good stead. He doesn’t have regular minions…why bother, when a few moments work can make anyone into a minion?

The nickname, Wash? It’s short for Washington, of course…but he also picked it as a reference to brainwashing, to cover-stories, and similar things. Wash is clever, and enjoyed laughing at his co-workers.

Wash looks a lot like Levar Burton, and usually wore a gray turtleneck, blue blazer, blue slacks. A single gold necklace was worn outside the turtleneck, and he wears a diamond stud in his left ear. No one has seen him recently to find out if he still dresses the same way.
