Advent Evolution

The plane screeched to a halt on the tarmack of the John F. Kennedy airport in New York. Cal Dashun stepped off looking uncharacteristically tired and distressed. This morning, he woke from a nightmare filled night. When he established contract with his other clones, one was missing, Theodore Wellsmith.
Nothing like this had ever happened before, he wasn't just out of touch, he was completely gone.
The only clue, or at least he thought it was a clue, was an image that was burned into his brain during a nightmare last night: the face of a young boy that he had helped out in New York a few years prior. Armed with his personal file on the boy, which contains all details on the kid (including place of residence), Cal was resolved to investigating why one of his clones could just dissappear.
Tomas is in over his head. He had tried his hand at crime fighting a few times, with moderate success, but he never faced Guardians before. So far he had managed to evade them, but he knew that the Razors, Guardian spec ops support, were on his tail.
He didn't think they could hurt him with his brother's protection, but that energy bolt that hit him made his brother go unconscious. He was dripping off of Tomas, holding on only through instinct.
The alley Tomas was in led to the back door of an old art shop that had fallen into disrepair. The lock was easy enough to break with the butt of his gun and it seemed like a safe place to hide for now.
The American Ninja was out for vengeance. Last night an innocent had died in his arms after being shot by the head of the Guardians and world reknowned hero, Diehard.
In the man's death throws, he reached forward to whisper something in Ninja's ear. He never got a word out, but pulled the cloth from Ninja's face, the last thing he would ever see. As far as he knew, the man was not a mutant and had done nothing wrong.
American Ninja was traveling from rooftop to rooftop looking for a Guardian unit. He had no idea what he was going to do, he had never taken on a Guardian before, but he knew that it was his only lead to finding Diehard.
Rose was meditating in her inner sanctum, focusing on the connection magic that her master had taught her. She extended her senses out beyond the small dimension that she was sitting in.
You can do it, use the sanctum's connections, be everywhere at once. A familiar voice prompted her.
Having to prepare the required ritual herself was hard enough, but the spell was excruciatingly difficult. For the first time, though, she managed to perform it. Her senses flew out to all of the sanctum's earthly portals at once, if only for a second.
As soon as she broke the dimensional threshold, a disturbance at one location broke her concentration and forced her to focus there. She saw a young man breaking into the old art shop in New York. He looked distressed, and he had a gun.
General Notes: Cal Dashun gains 1 Hero Point (Complication - Clone)
Tomas gains 1 Hero Point (GM Fiat - Loss of Powers)
Setting info on Diehard to come, everyone knows who he is. For now, he is a famous hero for the U.N. countries. (the only one in existence).
