That's one scary Thor build, JD.

I also really liked the Paragon, and hope to see more of your Millennium City setting.

Libra's Doc Holiday get's an update, after realizing it was pointless putting penetrating on his Forgettable power. The cost doesn't change, since the costs in the U.P. book bump the mental transformation effects up by one.

Without any further ado, here is my take of Libra's request: Doc Holiday. Please enjoy. :)

Image
"I would like to thank you for your generous contribution to the cause, My Cause. Now please don't get up, i shall see myself off with due haste out the door. "

Doc Holiday, Power Level: 8 (130pp), Real Name: John Dorian, Concept: Vigilante with a Cause, Profession: Dentist, Family: UnRevealed, Height: 6'0", Weight: 180 lbs, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Brown, Allegiances: Himself, Charitable Organizations, Belief System, Motivations: Greed, Goals: To find a cure for cancer

Description: Doc Holiday can be described as a distingquished gentleman of sorts, with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He maintains an old fashioned burly mustache, and a short rift of hair just upon his chin. He wears a cowboy hat, with a short coat over a vest , high collared shirt, and a thick voluminous tie. He ends this with a pair of sturdy pants which hangs over a pair of cowboy boots, with stirrups. Though he is a little skinny, and tall so he ends up looking more like a gangly sales man then anything else. He likes to put a spin, on what he thinks is an old country western voice. But always ends up sounding more southern than anything.

Abilities [20pp]: Strength 12 (+1), Dexterity 14 (+2), Constitution 14 (+2), Intelligence 15 (+2), Wisdom 17 (+3), Charisma 8 (-1)

-Even despite the fact that Doc is not a very charismatic fellow, he has a way with the ladies. Not only does he appear to be more charming with them, he can inspire love when he wishes. Its a great way of turning the tides, using them to cover his escape against the heroes.
Forgettable 4 [Mental Transformation (Affect Memories); Power Feats: Quick Change 2, Recordable; Extras: Continuous, Ranged (perception); FLaws: Sensory Dependant (Sight) ]
-Doc Holiday is the most forgettable man in the world, literally. He can make people forget he was even there. Or remember that his hiests have even occured, this comes in very handy when protecting his identity and covering his tracks. But he still wants people to remember him, so he usually allows them to remember something about his general appearance. The recordable power feat means that this affect will work on characters without an Intelligence score, or to work through video recording devices. The quick change makes sure people dont remember what he looks like exactly.
Devices [25pp]:
Walking Cane 7 [Easy to Loose] (21pp)
Doc Holdiay carries a servicable and sturdy cane, which he can use to strike his foes. This cane also has a number of interesting tricks and gadgets to help him in his crime spree's. Such as a projected shot lasso, and reloadable stink or smoke pellets. Or he can use the cane like a gun, and shoot stun bullets.
-Snare 5 [Power Feats: Tether, AP: Strike +2 (Power feats: Mighty)] (12pp)
-Nauseate 5 [Power Feats: AP (Dazzle Sight 7), AP: Stun 5 (Ranged); Extras: Ranged, Area (Burst)] (21pp)
Scarf 1 [hard to loose] (4pp)
-Immunity 5 [Air born Effects that require breathing]
Equipment [10ep]: Get Away Van (8ep), Handcuffs (1ep), Lock Release Gun (1ep)
Drawbacks [1pp]:
Weakness [Lung Cancer; Major Intensity, Common Frequency; Requires Weekly doctor visits and Chemo, or suffer a -1 accumulative penalty to all Ability scores (4 point Progression)]
Complications: Responsibilities [Weekly Doctor Checkups], Secret (identity)
Story/Background:
John Dorian, the most forgettable man on Earth, discovered he had Lung Cancer. Inspired by another famous dentist named Hol(l)iday and determined to be remembered for something he embarks on a decades-long career of crimes, always committed and themed on holidays, laundering the profits to finance research into possible cures for cancer and later - after discovering his cancer is terminal and incurable - medical charities for the aid of others.
Famous for the grand spectacles that always accompanied his property crimes and for the fact that he never killed (Despite the temptations of Doctor Sin's possible cures for cancer outside the scope of modern medicine if he would do some of the Doctors dirty work for him) and for his outlandish, roguish behaviour.
In the end, Duncan created a charitable foundation for the man and took over the funding himself before Doc Holiday passed away, in a hospital for children that bore his name, on Christmas day.

Guild Wars Character Conversion
Well Guildwars has been the game I have been really into lately, and I figured what the heck. I’ll give a conversion a shot. This might not be a very clean build, with lots of history or background. But few characters in games are. As you can see many of the spells, are very costly! And I categorized it into two different kinds of magic, however in this game there are plenty of different forms. Magical items were a tough call to convert, In the end I didn’t include the items I did have figuring they would have little effect in the game.

I got inspired to do this character, based on the picture for a Paragons setting. This is not normally a character that I would normally do, which is a good thing. Trying to expand my horizons. Not bad for someone’s whose been sick with the flu that past four days.

Recon Armor 4 [Hard to Remove]
The Recon Armor is the state of the art military grade armor, incorporating some of the latest advances in normal technology. Communication and Insulation are obvious, but the Highly protective suit, the mechanically enhanced strength, and Micro-Screen Lamination are the top of the line. The prize is the Lamination of course, which makes the armor harder to mark because its able to blend into surroundings by projecting its environment through the Micro screens. It also has a toe cable, which the armor can use like a grappling hook.
- Super Senses 1 [Radio]
- Immunity 1 [Cold Environment]
- Protection 7 [Extra: Impervious 2]
- Enhanced Strength 5
- Micro Screen Lamination [Shield 3]
- Super Movement [Swinging] 2
The “Hazard” Laser Rifle 5 [Easy to Remove]
The Hazard Laser Rifle get's its name from the man who created it, Ron himself. This is perhaps the most powerful hand held laser weapon system known to exist. It has three modes of operation, standard, Autofire and Cutter (used for ripping through armor).
- Blast 11 [Laser; Power Feats: 2 Alternate Power, accurate]

Complications: Anger Management Issues.

Background:
Ron “Hazard” Nichol’s was born in Flint, Michigan. The son of a hard headed no nonsense Army dad, whether he liked it or not. His family has had a long line of distinctive service to the military. But Ron had a mind of metal, and he liked to work with his hands and create. So he took a auto shop, and electronics in high school till he could further his career in the military. And it was a good deal too, he was bright and had a good future ahead of him. By the time he began a sergeant, he was specializing in research and development on the new experimental Recon armor units.

This armor, with a state of the art laser weapon system would turn the tide in war as we see it. But they were meeting obstacles at every turn, getting the mechanized strength reinforcement to keep from jamming up. Or keeping the weapon from over heating, and melting on them, the frustration and single mindedness of his need to make this work led to the break up of his marriage with his wife. And when all that stress reached its peak, Ron flew into a rage that ended up costing him his career in the Military. At the same time this caused him to Break out, and after the throbbing headaches , the and nosebleeds had subsided. And his cool time in the slammer had ended, he felt he was onto something. He had gotten stronger, and he could run faster and leap greater distances than he normally could. However he ended up with Anger issues he just couldn’t resolve, he knew he would have no chance of getting back with his family after this.

Suddenly he though he knew just what he had to do to finish his work, using what contacts he still had to get ahold of the military equipment he needed to build his own weapons and armor systems. And when it worked, he had nothing else left for him. He went to work for Forgone Conclusions. Where he could put his knowledge to work, where it was needed. Out on the battle field, so far however it seems that the armor and weapon only seems to work for him. And he's definetly not against taking on Paranormal threats either, more than able to handle those jobs.

He's a villain, in that he's misunderstood. Circumstances have conspired against him, and he has taken advantage of what came his way. As a mercenary, he ends up working against the good guys more often then not. For the sake of money.
