I thought Scent was just 'Normal Olfactory - Acute' with a different name. So perhaps Analytical would be better?

I'll double check that, but I think you're right. I can never remember which senses are 'acute' naturally and I built this one at work where I did not have my books. Thanks for the catch.

Iron man is screwed. Kudos for putting Bizzaro in during a clone series.

Thanks. You might be right. But me hate Bizarro so me never wanted to put him in story. :D

And the matchups are the fun part of being your own GM. I've been plotting that Black Panther vs. White Knight fight since I started this. I hope I do it justice.

And the Cloenens should be fun. I'll have them posted tomorrow night or Monday, depending on how long the Mother's Day festivities go at Thorpe's Deep. I think Nightwing may be in bigger trouble than Iron Man, just because of the numbers.

Hmmm....me, Catwoman, Black Cat, Tigra....these comic guys really need to try and come up something besides a 'cat' motif for female characters.

Comments:
After all those Secret Six builds I did a while ago, I can’t believe I hadn’t done Cheshire yet. I was debating on her PL, but after reading that Black Canary said she’s 2nd to Shiva in her book, I figured PL10 was good.

She’s meant to sneak up on folks and stab them with her Cat Claws, giving them not only physical damage, but a poison bonus. And with her Inventor feat and high Craft: Chemicals ranks, she can come up more types of poisons to put on her claws and or other weapons. She’ll be a good challenge for street level heroes.

And I figured since she has babies by Red Arrow and Catman (that we know of) and since Catman said the most dangerous weapon he knew of was her uterus, I thought Mother's Day was the perfect time to post her.

Another Mother's Day special from J-Mart hits the Aisle 2 shelves.

DRAWBACKS:

Comments: My first run at Sharon Carter, SHIELD Agent 13. Until I was doing a little research for this build, I didn’t know she filled for Fury for a while as Director. But right now, she is a main character in the current Captain America series, an unwilling pawn of The Red Skull and Doctor Faustus, who apparently was the one that delivered the kill shot to Cap. And she is pregnant with Steve Rogers’ baby (bow-chicka-wow-wow, Cap) so she gets some Mother's Day props.

That whole thing should be an interesting event when it comes to pass, although I suspect it will wait until after the whole Secret Invasion event.

You know, Cap being the man that he is, loved by all and respected by even his deadliest enemies, you'd think he would have litters of kids all over the world.

A J-Mart Favorite hits Aisle 4.

Image
He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that, saving old girls like me. And Lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people. Setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams.

AUNT MAY PARKER
PL:
2 (22 pp) – OPL: 0; DPL: 0

ABILITIES: STR: 6 (-2) DEX: 8 (-1) CON: 8 (-1) INT: 10 (0) WIS: 17 (+3) CHA: 14 (+2)

SKILLS: Bluff (+2), Climb (-2), Concentration (+3), Craft [Sewing] 6 (+6), Diplomacy 7 (+9) [Fascinate], Disguise (+2), Escape Artist (-1), Gather Info (+2), Handle Animal (+2), Intimidate (+2), Notice 2 (+5), Perform [Keyboards] 3 (+5), Sense Motive 2 (+5), Stealth (-1), Survival (+3), Swim (-2)

FEATS: Diehard, Equipment (2), Fascinate (1) [Diplomacy], Inspire (2), Leadership, Luck (1), Set-Up

POWERS:
None

EQUIPMENT:
(10ep)

Headquarters (well, kinda… [3ep]):
Parker House (Size: Small; Living Space, Garage, Security System)
Vehicle (7ep):
Mid-Size Car archetype (Flaw: Unreliable [7ep])

COMBAT: Base Attack +0, Melee +0, Ranged +0, Grapple -2 [Unarmed -2 (Bruise)]; Defense 10 (10 flat-footed); Init -1; Knockback 0

SAVES: Toughness -1 (-1 flat-footed), Fortitude +1, Reflex +0, Will +5

DRAWBACKS:

Abilities 3 + Skills 5 (20 ranks) + Feats 9 + Powers 0 + Combat 0 + Saves 5 – Drawbacks 0 = 22 / 22

Comments: I can’t believe I hadn’t gotten around to Aunt May before. She’s so critical to the Spidey verse. Without her support and wisdom, Pete wouldn’t be the hero that he is.

She’s no great shakes…well, she’s not even a little shake in combat, but she can help Peter a lot with her Inspire and Leadership, much like MJ can. When he’s protecting them, look out because he can lay a serious smackdown on his opponents.

Hey Minister, when you're whipping these up, can you make at least version of them close to PL10/150? I think Bat Windu would be a fun run against Kerian's DX Grievious.

Comments: Electro is a long-time Spidey villain that was one of the first guys I ever remembering reading Spidey fighting. I made him fairly easy for Spidey to take out, which has generally been the case unless he is all pumped up by another big time villain or working in tandem with the Sinister Six, hence the Teamwork feat. He’s a thug in a bad outfit (had to homage MDSnow’s comment about the stupid costume) that can shoot electric blasts and that’s OK with him. And the mastermind villains of the world need more guys like him.

That's EXACTLY the principle I am applying. I'm gonna have clones of clones of clones soon!

I guess technically they are more Kroenen Constructs, but that's kind of splitting hairs at this stage of the story.

Damn right. My quick take on Shaft. Haven’t seen the movie in years, but once again the train of consciousness on my building was rolling; started thinking about some Star Wars builds…began to consider the probability of Mace Windu at PL10…Mace Windu was played by Samuel L. Jackson…Samuel L. Jackson kicks ass…he also played Shaft…Shaft kicks ass…must build Shaft…you know how it goes.

I feel a street level/action movie run coming on at J-Mart. We’re WAY low on Lethal Weapon and Jackie Chan merchandise, don’t you think?
