Croc's Grapple should be about 23-25 with his Growth before feats, right?

With his feats and everything else put together....+28 on his grapple check...without the feats he only gets a +24

and thats not that evil...my Black Adam 2040 build gets at +34 on his grapple checks

whats DEVASTATING is that both Croc and BA2040 get Crushing Pin...which means they get to do their full unarmed damage to you WHILE your pinned...

Back Story:Harvey "Two-face" Dent used to be Gothams shining wonder boy, a no-nonsense, balls to the wall District Attorney that wasn't afraid to go after the heavy hand of the mob with an iron fist all his own. He came down so hard, in fact, that his punishment was made for all the public to see: a face full of acid, forever marring the once handsome face of Gothams' "White Knight".
The scarring attack, along with suppressed anger issues, brought forth the dark side of Harvey Dent....Two Face. As Two Face, Dent not only repaid the mob for their attack, but he took over a bit of it as well. He is till an amazing orator and negotiator...even if his "negotiating" tactics are a bit heavy handed these days.

** I'm not shocked that Two Face comes under my TDK Joker. Two Face is a straight up, in your face (pun intended) character with few qualms. There is nothing special or exciting about Two Face other then his ruthless and twisted ideals of fairness, chance, and justice.

Brutal as the marred side of his face, Dent often opens himself up for brutal attacks, both by the Dark Knight and others.

: The short, rotund Oswald Cobblepot is the notorious criminal known as The Penguin...he will just never admit it. As intelligent and as crafty as they come, Cobblepot uses his famed Iceberg Lounge as a cover for his many, many capers. He loves to think of himself as a "gentleman criminal", but the truth of the matter is that, among the sane, very few come more ruthless and cruel then this buzzard.
Degraded as a youngster for his looks, Cobblepot comes from "old money". The Cobblepot Family was once as rich as the Waynes, but lost much of it in bad investments and gambling. The short, crafty Oswald wants it all back...and will stop at very little to get it.
Don't EVER underestimate this somewhat comical looking nightclub owner, as Cobblepot is a master at both Judo and Fencing, as well as always has a few thugs and traps nearby...especially if you choose to engage him at the Iceburg.

**The Penguin was actually a more expensive build then what I thought he was going to be...but considering his talents and power, it fits.

What needs to be remembered about Cobblepot is that, despite his appearance, he is a surprisingly agile and fierce fighter, well versed in Judo and Fencing. To understand how Cobblepot fights, you have to look at someone that is constantly trying to get you off guard.
I gave him Quick Draw as a feat, as well as Subtle in his Umbrella. This represents the fact that all his weapons are hidden at first...you will never know which umbrella that Oswald is holding at any given moment...and he can spring it on you with the flick of a thumb!!
He has Accurate Atk, Defensive Atk, Improved Disarm, Weapon Bind, & Weapon Break to help his fencing skill, but he will also use the umbrella to trip you with the hook, to startle you with a flick of the umbrella, spreading it out and pulling it back to it's fighting form.
I also gave him Ranged Pin...because I have seen Oswald use the umbrellas like giant darts, pinning an opponent to a wall or other hard surface.

as a master criminal, Oswald is rather well off, have two Benefit Feats: status as a club owner to Gothams who's who list, and his wealth from his life of crime. He also gets Connected, contacts, and well-informed, making Cobblepot a VERY well connected figure in Gotham, either in public, or in the criminal underground. If it's out there, Oswald knows about it...or knows someone that knows.

I also gave him an Animal Empathy to birds (kinda covers his slight obsession), and Inventor (i don't see oswald sending out for trick umbrellas...those are self built if you ask me.

Oswald is best used like the Kingpin...losts of connections and contacts...lots of information and power....and looks hide immense fighting skill.

you know what pissed me off the most while researching the Penguin??

I ran across a IGN article about the best and worst Batman Villains of all time....Penguin was No. 5 of the WORST list...they even went as far as calling him the "Rodney Dangerfield of Crime...except that he TRUELY deserves no respect"...I was like "Who lets these guys write this???...the Penguin is a GREAT villian if you compare what he can do to the likes of the Scarecrow or even the likes of Two-Face. The Penguin has a danger all his own that very few other Batman villians can attest too...in the fact that he is PERFECTLY SANE...and the only obsession he has the Batman is that the Caped Crusader keep foiling his schemes for more power...but on a "look what strings I can pull" factor...the Penguin is at the TOP of the list.

Back Story: Sultry, cunning, and....flexiable Selina Kyle is the world famous, high class thief known as Catwoman. Dressed in a skin-tight outfit mimicking a cat, Selina has traveled the world "acquiring" things for the highest bidder, or just because a particular piece captured her fancy.
Her high profile career has caused her to run afoul of the Batman several times in her past, until she decided that her on-again, off again relationship with Gothams' Dark Knight made her switch sides.
No longer the worlds more notorious theif, she is the leather clad vixen that stands by the Batman in his fight against the corrupt hands that reach out for Gothams' soul.

**Selina Kyle has been one of my FAVORITE dream girls in all of comicdom. I'm a rock n roll/ Metal fan...and she's a hot chick in black leather and a whip....guess where we can make the association right?

anyway, I did what I could to best fill out the CURRENT Selina Kyle and her more complex outfit. It wasn't easy, as her new costume has several things that get put together to form the NEW catwoman costume. Along with her leather jumpsuit and cat claws, Selina is now sporting her trendy new Catseye Goggles, which give her a decent range of visual choices: UV vision, Darkvision, and Infra-red Vision, as well as sheilding her eyes from Dazzle-style effects.

It wouldn't be Catwoman without her multi-talented Whip and Acrobatic prowess. She is, after all, an olypmic level gymnist, much like Batman...though personally I think she surpasses him in the acrobatic department.

I thought that the Penguin was a Feat monkey...but Selina beats him out very solidly...and she has a wider array of skills to pull from...she just doesn't have the flock of connections that Oswald has...but thats why I love the "origional" set of Batman villians....everyone was dangerous in their own way...not half the new guys are copy cats of some of the traits of the older set.

: The man known as Kai has almost as much history with Catwoman as Batman does, but not as a lover....as a rival.
There was a point in time where the man known as the Armless Sensei taught Kai much of his profieceny in the martial arts, and Kai was soon the greatest student of the Sensei. This came to an end when a young Selina Kyle attended the school and caught Kai off guard and showed him up. He has since discovered her identity as the famed thief Catwoman. He has taken this as an omen in his life and has fashioned an identity and fame for himself as the assassian-theif Hellhound.

**I've always loved the look and feel of this character. It's kinda like Azreal and Catwoman combine, in a fashion. It wasn't an easy build, as I had to give him feats and skills that I could recall from memory, wiki, and to rival Catwoman.

It's important to note the fighting style differances between Selina and Kai. While she is more cautions and acrobatic, Kai is much more of a straight on martial artist. While he has skills in acrobatics, and all the same feats, for elusive fighting that Selina does, he is not as skilled as her, but rather chooses to use them in a flip over an opponent...or a quick dodge, rather then the style that Selina uses.

He also hits harder then she does, and is better on his defensive capabilites, though he is no where near as fast out of the gate. He doesn't really care about taking a blow or two, first becaouse of training, and also because of the armor from his costume.

Another good point about Hellhound is he is the ONLY DC martial artist to use animals in combat...and he is noted as being quite a gifted trainer of attack dogs...almost to a point where they have a fighting style themselves.

He loves his bladed weapons, though he prefers his knives and swords to any other...though I have seen him with a Nagata staff before.

btw...for those wondering...this character is a board FIRST.....either he is two obscure for anyone to have done....or no-one knew about him

Back Story: Harley Quinn, once known as Dr. Harley Quinzel, is possibably one of the phyiscally dangerous women in DC comics, simply for the fact that, if fully unleashed, even the Joker is frightened of the havoc she would cause.
As intelligent as she is deadly, crossing paths with Harley Quinn is always something to be cautious about. She is a gifted acrobat and fighter, and has recently been physically enhanced to make her even more deadly.
Her favorite weapons are her Mallet, Boxing glove Pistol...and of course, her favorite pets, Bud n Lou: a pair of trained laughing hyenas.

**Harley was pretty straight forward....make catwoman insane and put her under the influence of the Joker. Now, remove the whip and cat claws, add two hyenas, a mallet, and a couple of guns...boom...basic Harley. This one, however, is the physically enhanced Harley...as you can tell from the powers.

yeah...well...doing builds for the NEW sith is a pain in the arse....like eating legos for a whole day pain in the arse....lol

plus...the Gotham builds are much akin to the pulp/noir style I was doing before my hiatus

Back Story: Edward Nigma is a certified genius...there isn't anoyone that will dispute that....he's just crazy. The man known as the Riddler has a severe case of obsessive compulsive disorder when it comes to puzzles of any kind. It's so bad that he's actually admitted that he doesn't want to leave clues at the scene of the crime...but he has has too.
While not the greatest fighter in the world, he is one of the greatest solvers of any puzzle, even to the point where he has been recruited by Batman to solve a case or two. He is such a great puzzle master that he even orchestrated the Hush events that drove Batman into the emotional dirt.

**The Riddler came out pretty much as I expected. He isn't a fighter, though he can hold his own against a thug here and there, but he is a flat out genius when it comes to the creation and solving of puzzles, no matter how big or small.
I did give him the skills appropriate for a head-case villian: while he is no acrobat or killer, he may be even better at information then the Penguin..cept that the Riddler likes to know all his information first hand, through deduction. His mental capabilities as a detective of sorts is staggering, even surpassing the Dark Knight.
