Nice. Those are both great.

I'd prefer a bit less blue webbing though.

I've always been a fan of the Scarlet Spider costume. The bulky mechanical tricked out web shooters were sweet.
Yes, superheroes should be played like paladins in capes.

A little less realistic. I just want a larger Spider-Symbol for people to see.

It's been a long time since I post anything...
I did a sketch at work and had the time to ink and color it today (I've got a 2 week vacation!).. So here my Spider-Man ReDesign attempt:

Nighthunter - I like the knee and elbow webs!
Etrigan, nice pose and concept - not too sure about the golden gloves and boots for Spidey though - it's than damn Tony Stark's influence isn't it!?!

Better. Less Spider-womanish.

Haha, I love the costume Etrigan, but you have now found the only costume more fiddly to draw than Spidey's original Red and Blue Classic! ^_^

Here's my take on Spidey! As you can see, it doesn't really change too much, except for the shape of his 'webby' bits. But really, how can you top DITKO's design? The only thing that came close was the SUPER awesome black costume.

Photobucket seems to be shrinking the image so it looks all blurry and hurts my eyes, though. I'll have to look into that later tonight when I get home from work.

Etrigan Try Red with blue trim (ie feet/hands, etc.). I'd like to see that.

Shinobi I think I like yours the most. I really like the expanded spider thing. That should be official. The only thing, perhaps black for the eyes rather than some silver. or dark gray maybe?

I also like the blue/red combo. Like many things in comics we get use to it, but really is that a good combo? I think playing with the colors is a good idea. Black and White? I really use to love Web of Spider-Man with the black and white costume. Yet, Black and Red like a black wideo type color might have worked too but not with the way the Black and White costume was designed. Perhaps black and red with one designed like Etrigan might work.

I also looked at Etrigan's and thought that should have been how the character Trantula should have looked. Or call him some other more vicious spider-related name.

Great stuff though. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Libertyforce!
Unfortunely I just buy a new PC and forget to save the lineart and various photoshop layers with the color for Spidey... So I will not be able to do a new red version with blue trim (unless I redraw everything)...
Sorry.

Spider-Man, Earth 2671
Image

Unlike the Spidey of Earth 616, this one reclaimed the symbiote from Venom after Eddie was diagnosed with cancer. In a feat of pure willpower, Peter Parker was able to convince the creature to work with him. Becoming one mind, the new Spider-Man uses both alien abilities and Parker genius to fight crimes.

I may actually do a full write-up eventually ... we'll see :)
