Background:

Cadoc is a relatively minor member of the Troll Warrior Caste, living in a large enclave in the forgotten Tropics. The boy grew up more tightly wound than most Trolls, and when he received little respect he almost always responded violently. Even Trolls have rules about such things (subtley destroying your rivals is seen as the proper way to handle such disputes), so Cadoc spent a great deal of his life being punished. This did little to improve his disposition. Cadoc, in an attempt to garner more prestige, underwent two very painful flesh crafting procedures. The Reflexes of the Serpent involved the fleshcrafter shortening his nerve ending to make him much quicker than he normally would be. The Bones of the Giant involved the fleshcrafter bonding a porous material to his bones and muscles that once it hardens takes on the consistency of rock. As a result Cadoc has become supernaturally quick, strong, and almost totally immune to blunt force.

Cadoc’s almost suicidal desire to prove himself eventually did set him apart from everyone else. He was eventually elevated to an order of elite warriors called the Blood Swords and given one of the blades that are the namesake of the order. The swords seek out a foe’s vital organs, slicing through armor, and even after removed leaving vicious bleeding wounds that continue to sap a target’s endurance.

Despite his promotion Cadoc’s superiors have little hope for his long term career. They’ve been around long enough to know that borderline psychotic berserkers like him rarely last more than a couple of decades in the field (a very short time for Trolls mind you). They do know just how useful someone like him can be when pointed in the right direction however, and point him in that direction whenever possible. He is usually seen leading a detachment of normal and enhanced Drones leading from the front lines hoping to collect scores of enemy heads to prove his valor to his perpetually unimpressed superiors.

Cadoc is awesome. In my miserable mood today, I can sympathize with a beast like him.

Cadoc plus a group of other trolls backing him up would make a truely formidable force to deal with. Combined with that sword, almost no living being would survive.

Yeah, Cadoc is one nasty hombre. He's strong, quick, tough, and pretty much immune to blunt damage. The sword just makes sure that whatever he does to a target REALLY hurts. Put him in command of a pack of Trolls and he becomes a force to be reckoned with, but then again I expect Troll, in general, to be bad news.

I was okay with just Cadoc.. But seeing him with any amount of troll goons means our group may be running in the other direction.

yeah reboot rocked. I loved their takeoff on star trek, road warrior, you name it, it was in there.

oh yeah Snow Gaist is really cool too.

Background:

Mastema is the Demon Queen of Lust. She’s said to be able to inspire mind numbing lust in any intelligent creature she looks at, and can drive them mad with a touch. Given her area of interest she’s powerful, and as such must fend off usurpers on a fairly regular basis. In an effort to defend her power base she created The Impregnators. These demons act as her warriors. She created them where they receive sexual satisfaction from the act of impaling people on their horns or swords making them almost psychotically focused fighting machines. They stand ten feet tall with mighty horns, and mouthed tendrils extending from their stomachs. These tendrils spew maggots into the wounds they cause eating away at a foe’s ability to withstand further damage. The most trusted impregnators are also armed with a magical sword that possesses a fraction of their mistress’ power, invoking lust in any foe struck by the blade. Usually in combat an Impregnator will grapple one target with its tendrils, draining their constitution and then putting them in a chokehold while using its sword on other foes at the same time.

 Alright so I always thought that the Impregnator Patriarchs from Green Ronin’s Book of Fiends were the most twisted thing I could imagine. So I decided to put a version of them in my fantasy world.

Well I suppose that being Cadoc's BFF is safer than being The Impregnator's BFF.
