Montoya sat at the control panel at her station at Farside City. She was scanning the display screen when she suddenly caught sight of a signal. The signal was almost buried in the clutter of incoming information. She recognized the signal from her time with the Star Knights. The message was simple... "I knew that you were not strong enough to last. -K-"
Montoya rubbed her eyes and pushed her seat away from her workstation. She called over her shoulder to anybody listening. "I'm stepping out for some air." She walked down the hallway and into an airlock. She extended her will and her ring came to life. Her costume formed a few seconds before the airlock opened to space.
Montoya flew across the surface of the moon. She then saw the source of the signal. She drifts to the rim of a crater. She stood before a Star Knight.... An armored male in a red-hued armor stands before her.
"You never fooled me, Montoya, I knew a human female could never last as a Star Knight."
Montoya just looked at him. "Kalester, You have always been an arrogant prick! I chose the path I took and now I have chosen to be a Whitestar. I chose the right path... not the path to power. What do you want here?"
Kalestar pointed his finger into her chest. "To prove for once and all that you are weaker and I am the better warrior!"
Montoya fixed him with her best "drop dead" look. "This is the last time that I am going to say this... I have nothing to prove!"
Kalestar glares at her, "Then put that little trinket where your mouth is!"

Montoya wills her forcefield to life and soars up off of the moon's surface. She did not want to have the fight on the surface, she wanted to have room to move.
Kalestar snears... "The game is afoot!" He flies up following Montoya. As he closes the distance between the two of them, he lets free an energy blast. The blast hits Montoya square in the back. She lets out a scream as the bolt of energy slams into her. Her bodu convulses and her mind starts to get grey.
ROUND 1
WS: Erects forcefield
Flies up from the surface
SK: Flies up to intercept WS
Fires a blast:
Atk: d20+10 = 21
(WS) Def: 16 [Failed by 5 – Stunned and Bruised]
Montoya shakes her head. "I am not going to let this arogant bastard win this time!" She dips into a well of internal strength and shakes off the effects of the blast. "I underestimated you... it won't happen again."
She feints and drops towards the surface of the moon, but then quickly loops around. As soon as she gets a shot, she manifests a giant crossbow and shoots at Kalestar. Kalestar is surprised by the shot. He too had underestimated his opponent.
Enraged, Kalestar fires another blast that hits Montoya. Montoya tries to move aside, but catches the blast against her side. She feels the area of her ribs bruising.
ROUND 2
WS: Burns Hero Point to eliminate Stunned effect.
Loops around and lets rip with a blast
Atk: d20+4 =22
(SK) Def: 19 [Failed by 3 – Bruised]
SK: Atk: d20+10 = 18
(WS) Def: 16 [Failed by 2 – Bruised]
Montoya feels her anger start to rise. "That bastard will not win!!", becomes her personal montra.
She manifests a giant claw-like hand and reaches out at Kalestar. Kalestar turns in time to see the giant hand coming at him. He darts to the side as the hand snatches at the space he had just occupied.
Kalestar returns the attack with an attack of his own. Montoya darts aside allowing the blast to slide past her.
ROUND 3
WS: Grab attack SK

SK: Atk: d20+10 = 16
(WS) Def: 16
Montoya snatches out at Kalestar again. This time Kalestar did not move quickly enough and the giant energy hand grabs hold of him.
Kalestar struggles against the giant hand but Montoya's willpower empowers the construct with enough strength that Kalestar cannot break free.
ROUND 4
WS: Attempts grapple again
Atk: 19
(SK) DEF: 15 [Missed by 1] target Grappled
SK: Attempts to break free
(WS) 24
(SK) 21 [ does not break free]
Montoya maintains her grip of Kalestar and tightens it around him. She wills the hand to slam him into the surface of the moon.
Kalestar is slammed into the surface of the moon. His head slams into the surface with a solid thud. He continues to struggle against the giant hand, but the last slam took some of the fight out of him.
ROUND 5

SK: Save – 23 [Failed by 2]
SK: Attempts to break free

Montoya sees that Kalestar is still in her grip. She knows that she cannot give him an inch. She again, slams him into the surface of the moon.
Kalestar slams into the surface. He fights against the blows but he finds it harder and harder to focus his thoughts. He tries again to break the grip of this giant hand but as before, he does not have the strength.
Realizing that the battle is over... Kalestar calls out his surrender.
ROUND 6
WS: Inflicts damage {automatic DC: 25}
SK: Save – 15 [Failed by 7 – Stunned, Bruised, Injured]
SK: Surrenders
Montoya opens the hand, holding Kalestar's limp body. He turns his head and looks at Montoya.
She carries him back to Farside City, where he can rest. As they approach the city's airlock, Kalestar suddenly moves off of the hand. "You have changed. You are no longer the little Earth girl that thought she could help the entire galaxy. You are harder... you can now do what you must."
Montoya smiled sweetly... "I did once think that I help the entire galaxy... You're right.. I did change. I don't think that I can help the entire galaxy.... Now I KNOW I can. The Whitestars have shown me that the power lies in me... Not in a suit of armor... not in a Mentor... in me."
Kalestar gives her a salute...
Montoya returns the salute.. "..Oh and Kalestar.. Don't come back, I don't need you anymore."
