and jus to clear things up, the common fan consensus was that the show jumped the shark in season 8 (when they removed shredder and krang from the series), and went downhill starting season 9 (when carter was introduced). basicly, if you ever catch an episodde and the sky's got that reddish nighttime skyline smog, or april's wearing a jacket instead of her jumpsuit, you're past the shark-jump

Wow, I must've stopped watching that show REALLY early, because I NEVER remember the Grappling Hook. Last episodes I remember seeing involved the Technodrome either coming back to Earth, or the Turtles visiting it in Dimension X (I remember a scene where it was running the gruop down).

okay people, while ive still got a truckload of tmnt convets to roll out, it's time once again for halloween Hijinx, that time each october to lay out some halloween themed builds. however, this year, rather than just stat up monsters, ghosts and goblins, I'm using a trick or Treat theme, wherin those i stat up will be 'dressed up' one way or another, be it a variant version or some robot chicken-ish mix of concepts.

due to the nature of the latter type of this stunt, once i get started i'll be taking requests along these lines. just pm me a pic, and i'll see what i can do

X-9 was different from his line in that he had an emotion chip installed at his creation, allowing him to surpass his programming (and thus outlast the other X-bots), build a life for himself after he was phased out for Aku's scarab beetle drones, and most importantly to X-9, find companionship in Lulu, his 'sweet thing'. post retirement was good, until the Samurai came. ever seeking a way to destroy his hated enemy, Aku was told about X-9's emotions, and had Lulu abducted to force the gunmetal gunsel into one last job.
