:arrow: Here is Malvor the Dark-Rebooted. His background has been fleshed out with a lot more detail. His stats have changed in these ways: Strength lowed by 2 points, making 8 points of his Constitution Enhanced, Equipment ranks fixed, given 3 ranks of Headquarters, Ritual Expertise feat for 2 powers, Empowerment raised by 2 ranks, and Headquarters created using the rules from the Better Mousetrap PDF. A dark wizard with the blood of an ancient dark god flowing through his veins, Malvor doesn't know the full truth of his talent for dark magic or for why he hasn't aged a day since he turned 25. His dark father is dormant for now, but someday he will awaken and Malvor will most likely be drained of any power he has to fuel his dark father.

:arrow: His magic works like most others except for the description of their appearance. His hellfire blast can appear as black flame or even flaming skulls, his hell shadows tend to appear as deep shadows will shadow demons clawing at the eyes of those within it, and his mystic passage as if he stepped into shadows that weren't there and disappeared. This can vary but it is always a theme of something dark or demonic. He is prone to madness, sometimes ranting in the middle of a fight about his greatness or to insult his foes.

:arrow: He will always have an artifact or relic created just in case, a precise one to deal with the most powerful or dangerous to him of the members of a team if he knows he will be facing them. He almost always has a ritual ready for use, especially using them to summon forth demons or cast "instant death" spells. Never underestimate him despite his low PL, he is a menance when he is prepared.

:arrow: His most dangerous qualities though are his vast intelligence, strength of will, charisma and knowledge. He is patient and can plan out things for the long term, never striking til he has planned every possible event out. Death traps created by him can include such things as alchemical pits of acid, weakening solutions, etc. Magically summoned beasts, winding mazes, pit traps and other threats are only a few of the possible dangers you could face if you fall for a trap.

:arrow: His magical powers give him a few things not represented by any spells. He can wield his magical might to scare people and intimidate them, change his clothes at will and remain well-informed about any individual or group in the world. The fact he is immune to aging and has all the time in the world means he will develop new areas benefited by his magical powers. His greatest weakness though is his arrogance, despite his reduced powers he believes that with planning and patience there isn't anyone or thing he can't overcome. He hates to rely on others and only uses hired and empowered henchmen when he absolutely has to.

Description of Powers: Once a dark archmage who performed many experiments and was feared by all, Malvor has been stripped of the vast power he once held and restricted to weaker spells now. He is still a dangerous opponent to face off against, but most superheroes will have no trouble taking him on. The dark magic he wields can manifest in the form of many spells, from black hellfire which blast the body and soul, black claws to hold his opponents still or lift and carry things for him, teleportation, hell shadows which bring forth pitch black darkness, the power to blast someone's soul directly, control or read their mind, see places miles away, even to nullify magic of any sort.

He has developed the power to mentally sense magic when it is nearby, know the location of it and even know the sort of magic and spell cast. Created before his powers were greatly reduce, his Sanctum floats in a dark dimension which requires teleportation and knowledge of its location to access. A portal into the sanctum exist on the material plane over where it is currently hovering and it is capable of flight. This fortress is the size of a castle, with a vast dungeon to hold intruders as well as summoned beings who won't cooperate, an alchemical infirmary, various labs for experiments and rituals, a vast library holding many dark tomes and a mystical power core which fuels everything in the sanctum. Any within the sanctum can fly every fast at will, thanks to enchantments placed by Malvor.

His magic wasn't truely stripped from him but redirected into a new form. He can perform a dark ritual which last a minute and requires his full concentration, to empower others with dark magic powers. He must be touching them when he performs the ritual but can recall the power given from anywhere. These powers can vary but there is only so much power Malvor can give out at once, so he normally keeps it to 1 or 2 beings at a time who are loyal as long as he gives them power. He never gives them powers which would keep him from reading their minds to find out if they have betrayed him or not.

History:
Born into Darkness
Born in the year 1132 A.D., Malvor never knew who his family was, as he had been abandoned on the steps of a church as just a baby. When he was old enough to understand, they began to train him in the Catholic way. Only he came resent this, all of the rules and restrictions placed upon him simply silly and arbitrary. Unknown to those in charge, he soon began to sneak off into the church's forbidden area at night. The dark text found in the books, tomes and scrolls on ancient magic called to him, like a piece of his very being sought to learn all there was in them. The church deemed such books as "evil", Malvor thought they simply feared any power not under their control and labled any such thing as "evil". Despite his limited education by the priests, Malvor took the text and knowledge in the dark text with ease, instinctively understanding even the most ancient of text within them. It wasn't long before he was sneaking out at night, off to a nearby forest wear he would perform dark rituals in secret, using small animals as sacrifices. It was by the time he turned 15 that he had become very adapt in the dark arts, ones which had been sealed away for centuries or longer. But soon his time at the church would come to an end, as in an act of final definance against those who believed themselves better than others, he stole as many of the dark books, tomes and scrolls for himself. Then with a single arcane word, he set the church ablaze with fire, killing all within it and leaving to find his true destiny at last.

It seems the church was not as well informed about the occult and dark things as they thought. For if they were, the very mark found on Malvor's chest, over his heart, would have served as a dire warning to them. The symbol looked to be nothing more than an unusual identifier mark, a black upside-down crescent moon with blood red surrounding it. Malvor hadn't been born to a normal family, not by any stretch of the word. For he was the child of a woman who had given herself to a demon willingly. But Malvor wouldn't come to find out this truth of his origin til much later in life. With the lifeforce of those who died in the church fire contained in an arcane trinket, he was able to perform a ritual which normally would have been beyond his current skills. Sculpting the very fabric of reality, he was able to create a dark dimension out of phase with normal reality, in which he could set up a private sanctum to work from. He knew his actions would bring those who sought to make him pay, burn him alive for his dark deeds. Thus he would need a safe place to hide from those arrogant and closeminded fools.

The strength of the original ritual, along with many more rituals and spells of dark magic over the years, continued to make him appear to be unstoppable. For time after time, crusaders and knights came, each vowing to stop his evil. All were struck down, no match for the dark powers at his command. With each sacrifice, each death he caused, his power grew more and more, til even the armies sent after him proved no match for his dark power. It seemed he was more than a mere wielder of the dark arts, far more than the church suspected. But this wouldn't stop them from attempting to destroy him time and again.

His rise to power drove him mad by this point, as he believing he was a dark god given flesh, one who should rule over the world for all time. This statement would be his true undoing, as it was the last straw from an angry and worn out Catholic church. Gathering a conclave of their most faithful priests and strongest knights, the set march towards the location where the dark sanctum's gateway hovered in the air. It took hours to set up the components need, trying to avoid Malvor's attention as the night began to fall. Never taking a step closer than within 1000' of the gateway, Malvor payed them no mind, seeing them as insects skittering about. This would put at end to this dark menance once and for all, they were sure of it. As teh ritual began, Malvor still thought they couldn't match his power, nor even come close to it. The ritual lasted for hours on end, as over 100 priests chanted, calling upon the very might of God and his legion of angels for aid. When finally it was finished, even the wards which Malvor had placed to keep out mortals would be no match for the power called up. As the gateway was blasted from above, a bolt of lightning sent down from Heaven itself, leaving no gateway behind. Priests and knight alike thought it was over, that the dark one was banished for all time. And they rejoiced. If only they knew the truth of what happened.

Power Lost, Thrust into a New Age
At the last moment, as Malvor felt his very connection to the dark powers being stripped away and weakened, he performed a risky gambit, one which saved him from destruction but with a great cost. For his dark magics had been interfered with by the ritual of light, in a way unexcepted by both Malvor and those who performed it. As he felt the vast majority of his power being stripped from him, his sanctum was hurtled through both time and space to who knows when or even where. Knocked out by the shock, Malvor awoke to find his sanctum intact, but sensed something was wrong. Before he could escape, the ritual of light had stripped most of his power, leaving him reduced to but the level of a mere noice in the dark arts now. But the ritual had done something else completely unexcepted, as he had been given a truely great gift. The power to imbue others with dark magical powers, ones stronger than his own currently were, along with the power to strip the powers from those who would dare turn on him. As he gazed out from his sanctum upon the new world he had been flung into, he could scarcely believe what he saw. In the skies were giant flying metal birds, the likes of which hadn't been even dreamed possible in his own time. The very power of lightning and the power of the sun itself, each harnessed by man for their own benefit.

Malvor soon came to figure out he was in the year 2006, the world drasticaly changed in the centuries he had been gone. His sanctum had been relocated in the fateful trip, as he found the gateway opening several hundred feet above a city, one he came to know as Freedom City. But despite all of this, even more shocks were in store for the dark mage. As he saw beings the likes of which could match his own power and more. Humans gifted with the power to fly, ones able to move faster than anything alive that existed before, even those with the power to lift entire buildings with the strength they possessed. Fleeing back into the depths of his sanctum, Malvor began to scrying upon the world, seeking answers. He saw that science and technology had replaced magic in the world, with humans who existed gifted with powers the equal of any archemage. The threat of being destroyed by this so called "heroes" this time was greater than ever, so Malvor decided it best to plan and act from the shadows. He would need to build up a power base once more, gathering those with enough greed and lust for power to him to control.

He studied up on the new world even more, he found his initial assessment was low, as science had become more powerful than magic had ever been. With it backing them up, even normal humans had great power, as one of them had the power to take him out with a powerful gun. With his access to dark magic being limited now, he was prevented from acting out as he once would have. He soon began the task of seeking out the hearts of those in the world, those who craved power at any price. He quickly found them, in the gangs, in the mercenary groups and surprisingly enough in the hearts of some of those so-called "heros". Gathering the most corruptable of them, he imbued 2 of them with great power, only having so much power to give but knowing he could increase this with time.

Soon these new minions, backed up by gangs with enchanted pistols and other weapons, began the world of building up more power and influence for their boss in the world. Over many months, the heroes of the world thwarted him and his minions at almost every turn. Those who failed him found their powers stripped, with new minions being infused with power and Malvor coming up with plans for them to work on each time. He vowed to regain what he had lost to the powers of light, even if it took him centuries to do so. With his careful planning and able to hide his involvement in the crimes from the powers of light and their new champions, he knew it would only be a matter of time. Just a matter of time before he would become the master of this world and all within it.

Secret History
The belief of Malvor in his "true" origin, that he is the cild of a demon and a human woman, is misplaced. For the mark upon his chest was from something much darker than a normal demon. This mark was placed upon him by the cult which found him as a baby, all to mislead him and others from his true origin. For he was the child of an ancient dark god of Europe, one so evil that he as only spoke of in whispers by his believers. For to be caught saying his name and having knowledge of him was to be sentanced to death, burned at the stake by the Catholic church. The cult knew of the secrets which the church tried to hide, of the dark text which they kept sealed in an out of the way church least it fall into the wrong hands. Which is exactally why he was placed at the church as a baby, they knew his very nature would draw him to the texts below, it was only a matter of time. His rise to power gave renewed hope to the cult, believing his actions would renew the power of his dark father, so that he could take over the world.

This may have worked, had it not been for the timely intervention of the Catholic church. The ritual whch stripped him of his powers and sent him through time had a more far reaching effect than originally believed. The backlashed through his son to him had left his dark father in a dormant state, the cult wittled down to but a few hundred members by the passage of time. But still they wait. Wait and hope for the return of their dark god who might never awaken.

Description: Malvor is of Europian decent and appears to be only 25 years old. He has a deep tan, piercing gray eyes that seems to see into your soul and greasy black hair down to his shoulders. He has several scars and burns on his arms and chest due to early experiments. His most distinctive feature is the scar that is across his nose.

He tends to wear durable black robes and leather slippers, tough leather gloves and the hood of his robe to obscure his face some. He has few clothes and favors this outfit, along with an enchanted belt with many tools for crafting with. The mark on his chest over his heart is kept hidden most of the time, unless his robes are torn so it can be seen.

:arrow: Here is Pallete-Rebooted version. Her background has been greatly fleshed out with detail, doubled in size at least from before. Her stats are unchanged, except for noting a Complication. She can't leave the borders of Freedom City, in the past this was more of a drawback. Put with her mindset and of having gotten used to it, it is now mearly a complication. Something of a middle ground between villain and anti-hero, she is more a hero nowadays and uses her powers to humble those who are too full of themselves. She will fight hero or villain, if they endanger innocents. She may pull pranks on people but doesn't wish to see them come to harm. Also it should be noted that the fairy realm she came from was connected to The Realm,which it decided to shunt her to Freedom City Earth for a lesson.

:arrow: She is a master of stealth and lying, able to manipulate people in and out of combat situations with ease. Despite her reputation she can be serious when needed and will protect innocents, especially children, with her life. Reacting with the speed of thought, she has been honing her reflexes for years, mostly from running away from angry mobs when she was younger.

:arrow: She keeps the fact that she was banished from the fey realms a secret to any she meets in the mortal realm. She hopes to someday go home, but still has a lot to learn between harmless pranks and hurtful ones, at least in the eyes of the fey realms' ruler. With her time in the mortal realm she has honed her skills at making magical paintings [Artificer feat] which she can imbue with magic she herself is currently barred from using.

Description of Powers: Rainbow is a fairy from a fey realm, not even one linked directly to any Earth. She can fly by supernatural means, leaving a glittering trail of blue behind her, is immune to aging and her own powers, immune to diseases of any sort, can see in low-light conditions clearly, and her alien mindset makes it hard to affect her mentally in any way. She has some training in magical matters, which she normally uses to make magical paintings she gives to mortals as gifts or as a prank.

But her most amazing power is the control over all colors, able to manipulate them in various ways. From changing the colors of an object or living being, making something transparent, firing off "Rainbow Beams" to either harm or blind targets, create very realistic visual illusions and even coloring in the air to block vision into the area, she has only touched the very tip of her true potential with this power over her 3 centuries of life. She is incredibly powerful with this ability, outclassing most beings of equal power level but less accurate.

History:
Fey Realms Annoyed
Born over 300 years ago in the fey realms, Rainbow Aurora was the daughter of noble fairys, with many things expected of her. She was expected to represent the noble fairies with dignity and grace, living under a set of rules. But she was a free spirit from birth, with a true love of art. She loved to paint any chance she could, which was lucky for her, as it was considered something which impresses people in the courts of the fey realms. She pushed this even more than was expected of her, as she loved ot learn and practice everything involved with painting. But the constant restrains placed on her by the courtly rules soon wore on her. Soon another side of her came to be shown, one which her parents did not approved of in the least.

A true prankster at heart, she loved making mischief and getting others to loosen up. Magic is an innate part of all fairies and Rainbow was no different, ashse learned how to use hers to change the colors of anything, seeing it as a new form of painting. Soon she was turning horses and fields of grass into unusual colors, ones unusual even in the fey realms. She began to get into a lot of trouble in her youth, as prank after prank upset her parents and those in the courts, even though each one was harmless. But her pranks escalated into what was considered an insult to the king of all the fairies. As she turned the royal crown pink while the king was wearing it, then the same day turned the royal baths water orange. This was the final straw as far as the king was concerned. At just the age of 100 years old, she had become the biggest trouble maker the fey realms had ever known. When the king ordered her to be banished to the mortal realm til she learned her lesson, even her mother and father agreed she was totally out of control, not even protesting the banishment.

When arrived upon Earth, Rainbow set out to make some more mischief, thinking the mortals she found couldn't be nearly as stuffy as the fairies back home. Boy, was she wrong. As they were even less tolerant of her pranks than the fair folk had been. Each time lashing out and driving her from village after village, as her pranks went too far in their eyes each time. These people couldn't see how harmless her actions were, only being upset at the change in the way they saw things. One town's major almost had her burned at the stake, all for turning his horse purple and red striped. She was able to escape with her life, but still wouldn't lessen up on her pranks, always believing it was everyone else who needed to lighten up. Who knows, she might be right.

Soon she learned some more tricks with her fairy magic, able to turn herself invisible and thus more easily able to pull pranks, all without being caught by the locals. But once again she would anger someone who was very powerful and lacked a sense of humor. Just 100 years ago, she was visiting India when she changed an Indian mystic's turban into a purple and yellow mix. Taking this as an affront to his importance and power within the community, he performed a ritual, one designed to bind this trouble maker to one location. He sent her off to a place, one where few people lived at the time, in the hopes it would humble the strange being and teach her to mend her ways. But he didn't know Rainbow very well, now did he. For her prankster streak ran deep and this wasn't about to stop her from trying to teach others a lesson in lightening up.

Freedom City's Colorful Past
Due to the nature of her powers, Rainbow had picked up a nickname on her travels. A french artist called her Pallete, which she took as a covername over time, as she was more famous as Rainbow than as this Pallete. The Indian hadn't thought about the long term effects of his actions, not thinking she could make much trouble with so few people around and no way to leave the area. But thanks to his actions, Pallete was Freedom City's problem now. Over the past 100 years she has pulled many pranks, from both the minor to the dangerous. From altering the color of road signs, not knowing of their importance to the locals, to making windows tinted and building walls clear. She was able to cause a lot of trouble, simply with what some people upon meeting her thought was a very minor power.

Soon she became a menance to the public, causing trouble with her continued pranks. Til Eldrich was finally forced to take action, finally binding her powers for a time, thinking that living as a mortal for a few decades might tame her wild spirit. And thus she was forced to drift from job to job, unaging but without her fairy powers to aid her, just to survive in this world. Til finally the 70s came and she found her powers unlocked again, she had learned her lesson, at least in part. Seeing the people of this era, especially the hippies, she found them more to her liking and held off on her pranks for the time being. Especially since she just loved the tye-dye shirt craze which was part of that time. She took to making dazzling shirts of various tye-dye designs, quickly making a successful business for herself. But each era only last so long, as in the early 80s the hippy movement started to die down, and along with it the tye-dye craze.

She was upset by this turn of events, not knowing any other way to support herself besides boring work once again. So she turned back to pulling pranks once more, as a way to cheer herself up. But this time she knew something form her past lessons, as she was more subtle and much less dangerous in her pranks that before, not wishing to endanger these mortals, especially the children. She took to changing artwork, making it fit her own ideas of what art truely was. Creating what was called graffiti [artwork but labeled as graffiti by the authorities] on buildings, turning building walls transparent as a means to punish a mortal who upset her, the list goes on and on. She figured as long as she didn't get dangerous, or upset the wrong people this time, her powers might not be bound again.

Which, thankfully for her, hasn't happened again to this very day. For both superheroes and the villains they fight against have learned to beware her antics. Don't get too uptight or you will get a visit from Pallete. Too ones who she payed particular attention to were Toy Boy and Doc Otaku. Their creations were interesting but both endangered the other mortals, including the innocent children, with their actions. Thus she took great pleasure in upseting their plans, from turning their robots neon pink or transparent to allow other heroes ot more more easily take them down, to changing their skin and hair color to embarass them repeately. Each has vowed in turn to get their revenge on this silly little fairy.

One foe she has made has come back time and time again, each time trying to collect her. But the Curator had underestimated her powers, as she had developed the ability to focus colors into a blast of great intensity she calls her "Rainbow Beams". But she is the only fairy of her kind in the Universe, the Curator not knowing of the fey realms and all the rest who live there. Thus he is determined to stop at nothing to bring her into his collection someday. Til that day comes, if it ever does, Rainbow with keep on having fun and pulling pranks on mortals, trying to help them in her own way to learn to lighten up and not be so serious all the time. Even though many can't seem to tell the difference between a silly, harmless prank and a harmful [they say hurtful, what is the difference] one.

Description: Rainbow Aurora is an attractive fairy with a human appearance, appearing only to be in her early 20s. Her eyes are violet hued and vibrant, while her hair has a rainbow pattern which shifts through colors at random. Her ears are pointed like an elf and she has a magical aura visable to those who can detect magic.

Her clothes vary at any time and she tends to love clothes with bright colors, especially dresses and blouses. Her jewelry tends to brightly colored jewels of any type, from simple crystals she likes to diamonds she has made purple in color.

:arrow: Here is Bone Stalker-Rebooted version. His background has been fleshed out with more detail, almost double in length from before. His stats have these changes: Fearsome Presense 6 ranks, Vulnerable and Weak Point drawbacks. A man or something else, what Bone Stalker was originally isn't known to anyone now, as those who altered him were the only ones and they are all dead now. A pychopathic killer who feeds off of blood, even though he doesn't need to, he will go after any prey he can detect and not stop til they are dead or he is stopped. He literally has no identity beyond that of Bone Stalker and even his fingerprints aren't on records anywhere.

:arrow: A deadly hunter who is virtually unkillable, he will break out no matter how long it takes him. Nothing known can contain him for long and he can't be scared by any means short of supernatural powers. His claws appear to be made of bone but are much tougher than normal bones should be. He can cut through anything short of several feet of reinforced super-steel given time. In a fight he will suddenly pop up in front of opponents to startle them and use any tactics to wear them down. As he can't tire by physical exertion he can fight for hours while his foes are weared down.

:arrow: He is known for brutal tactics and his claws are only good for inflicting lethal damage. He almost always uses All-Out Attack to full effect and Power Attack to full effect as well, but only when facing superhumans like himself. Sending out large groups of people against him without extreme firepower is a bad idea, as he can rip through their ranks so fast it will be a blood bath. His lack of memories about his past or who he was make him even more dangerous, as he won't hesitate to kill anyone. His only known weaknesses are to gas-based attacks and the one spot on the back of his neck which isn't armored.

Description of Powers: Bone Stalker doesn't know where his powers come from, or who gave them to him. He has tough bone plating on his most of his body except the joints, which can block anything short of high explosives completely. His musculature has been modified and he has superhuman strength to a degree, including enhanced organs, especially the heart. He never tires from physical activity but still requires rest. Almost any part of him can absorb blood into his body, though he prefers to do so through his claws. This allows him to heal from even death and there is only one way to permanently kill him.

Through means unknown he can mask his presense from electronic sensors at will, keeping this secret for an edge to escape when needed. His mind has been messed with in many ways and because of this he is virtually impervious to any mental powers. He is immune to any form of interaction skills due to this as well, not caring what other beings have to say or how they respond to his actions. His senses have been modified and increased in many ways. Infravision, low-light vision, animal-like sense of smell with the ability to track and an acute and accurate ability to detect blood by smell.

His mind has been programed with combat abilities, enhanced reflexes, skills in disabling any technology, and skills to survive in any environment, including urban. His new instincts make him more of an animal than a human, or whatever he originally was. Despite this he has gifted intelligence and knows to bid his time when needed. It is believed his strong weakness to gases of any sort, along with the lack of any armor on the back of his neck, were placed in him as a means of control by whomever altered him. Too bad they never had a chance to use them.

History:
Awakening to a New Life
The very first memories of the being who would become as Bone Stalker, are those of awakening to a world of pain. Something was being grafted to his very flesh, burning into him and bonding with his very being in the process. It did not matter whatever, or whoever for that matter, he was before. All that was gone, burned away by the torturous experiments which were done to him. All that was left was one thing, a being of raging fury, a living weapon with no other purpose than to kill. For now he was plated in a tough bone armor, one which he could never remove, possessing twin razorsharp bone claws on the top of each of his hands. But the experiments had done so much more to him, as now he possessed a trait perfectly suited to a killing machine. The very power to absorb the blood of others into himself, any which touched the bones which were now a part of him soaked into his very being, healing his own injuries.

But this revelation didn't come without a cost to those who had changed him. For he slaughtered everyone in the facility he had awoken in, running off into the night and not caring who found him. All would die, for what had been done to him. But only endless desert stretched out before him, forcing him to wander aimlessly for days on end, feeding off the blood of animals to survive. Soon he came to crave it, finding blood to be the only thing which would dull the pain of his existance. He would get it anyway he could, not caring what he had to do, seeing all other living beings as cattle for the slaughter. For his own humanity, if he had in fact ever been a human, was driven completely out of him by now, only to leave behind a blood-thristy monster in its place.

It wasn't long after his escape he came upon a city, as within a week of his escape reports came into the authorities, ones of a whole small town having been slaughtered down to the last woman and child. Just several short hours from Las Vegas, they didn't wish to start a panic, as more news came in on the nature of the attack. It seems they had all been slashed open, every ounce of their blood gone, with the belief that whatever killed them feed on their blood. Soon the police had to calm their own people, as belief of a pack of vampires or some ancient creature on the loose were circulating through the area. Despite their best efforts, the press caught wind of this story and the news spread like wildfire. For weeks on end after the event, people in small towns around the area were freaking out, driving any and all strangers who showed up and living in a state of constant fear.

But it wouldn't be til many months later when the monster appeared in the news once more, this time its face being shown on the news. Somehow it was now in Europe, stalking people and killing in the Red Light district. The police were no match for this monsters, their bullets bouncing off its armored plates and only making it angry. Unable to contain him for long, more than one was cut down by this dreadful monster. Til finally an anti-supers squad arrived on the scene, after a fight which lasted over 30 minutes they were finally able to subdue him. The killer, whom the press had dubbed the Bone Stalker due to his appearance, was finally captured. But bad news soon came, as they tried to execute him, to no avail, the monster reviving within an hour each time. Due to discovering he required no food or drink to survive, just blood, they locked him away in a sealed, steel-reinforced cell and threw away the key, hoping he would starve to death without any sustainance.

Fury of the Unknown Unleashed
As the weeks pasted into months, Bone Stalker merely lied in wait, conserving his energy and strength, til he knew the time was right to act. The authorities couldn't believe it, this monster seemed to not truely need sustainance, which would mean it feed on blood for another reason. Not that it mattered to them, no way was he going to be allowed fear just to kill once more. Unfortunately, sometimes what is expected is not what is true. As almost a year to the day of his imprisonment had passed, when one of the guards at the prison made a fatal mistake, one he wouldn't live to regret. On guard duty and watching the monitors, he spilled coffee on the control panel, causing several cells to become unlocked. One of them was right by Bone Stalker's cell, inhabited by a mad brute with superhuman strength, one once freed of his power-supression cell went and smashed apart the walls while trying to escape.

This would be the last act of rage on his part, as the freed Bone Stalker was in great pain. To dull his unending pain, he slayed his liberator, feeding on his blood and feeling stronger than ever before. The blood of a superhuman, it was like nothing he had ever feed upon before, his pain was gone and he felt like he could take on an army singlehanded. There was nothing in the prison designed to stop such a ruthless killer, with the exception of the thickness of his cell walls. Cutting down seeral guards, including the one whose actions set him freed, he feed some more and then fleed into the night. After weeks of searching, no trace was found of the psychotic killer, his rein of terror being started once again.

Once again several months pasted with no sightings, nor any signs which would lead to Bone Stalker. Only to have clues of his continued existance finally show up again, as in India people began to disappear off the streets. It would be days later their corpses were found, each time with all of the blood gone and severe cut marks. The mass murderer Bone Stalker was back and people all over the world were in fear, as it seemed he could get to anyplace given just a few months. Soon superheroes were sent in to try and track him down, only to find he had slipped away once again without a trace. The pattern continued this way, across several countries, each time many deaths happening and superheroes being sent in to capture him. Only to find each time he had fleed without a trace. Soon his trailed turned back on itself, as within a year he had made it back to the United States, moving across it from small town after another, til finally he believed he had found a place large enough for him to avoid notice. Or at the very least given him many hiding places which would allow him to escape, only to strike once again.

Freedom Streets Red
He knew low profile targets would draw the least attention, going after the homeless and forgotten of the city. The police took no note of it for a long time, as it wasn't unusual for one of the homeless to die in an accident in an out of the way area or become a victim to a wild animal. But after 2 months of this going on, the death toll built up far too much to avoid notice anymore. It took 3 days of work, by both the Freedom League and Foreshadow, to track him down to an abandoned warehouse in the docks. The crazed killer fought like a beserk animal, not going down easily and trying to find a break for him to escape. He held his own for but a short while, the combined might of the heroes facing him too much, as he was overwhelmed. Without a trial, he was placed in Blackstone Federal Penitentiary, to the protest of the other inmates, despite all of the security measures used. One of the most sturdy cells was outfited with an electrical field on the wall, along with anesthetic gass projectors able to be used at a moment's notice. It seemed his reign of terrot was truely over this time.

But there was a recent jail break attempt by other inmates, who foolishly damaged his cell's containment measures. This was just the break he needed, as he planned and waited once more. Just one week ago his chance came, as lightning struck and caused a short blackout. This was all the time he needed to slash free of his cell through the door, slipping through all the levels even as the power came back on. He was somehow able to slip past all security outpost and even the cameras unseen, escaping once again into the world at large. So far he hasn't struck, only surviving on the blood animals, while he bids his time. But soon, very soon, he would once again strike against humans, whom he blamed all for both his current condition and his lack of memories before he woke up to a world of pain.

A week ago he took his chance when a short blackout happened due to a lightning strike. Slashing free of his cell and slipping up through the levels, he somehow slipped past security cameras unseen and escaped into the outside world. He has been surviving on animal blood for the past week, bidding his time til he can strike again at humans, whom he blames for his condition and lack of memories before he woke up to a world of pain. Especially against those superhumans who kept helping to capture and lock him up, as their blood was the sweetest of all to him.

Description: Bone Stalker appears to be a human male, in his 30s. His face is covered by a bleached white bone mask, the only parts left uncovered are his eyes and mouth. He has intense red eyes that glow when he is enraged or has recently feed on blood. He has a powerful build and muscle tone, having bone plates grafted onto his chest and limbs, with 2 razorsharp bone claws on top of each hand.
He can feed on blood through his mouth or directly absorb it through his bone plates or bone claws. He rarely speaks and when he does it is normally a howl of pure rage and torment or a statement of how he will make your blood flow.

As well as finally posting some of the stuff for the Marvel Universe: Chaos Wave setting I've been working on again and off again for over a month now.

Marvel Universe: Chaos Wave introduction

"This is J. Jonah Jameson for the Daily Bugle nightly news. And today is the 2nd anniversary of the event which has come to be known as the Chaos Wave. The day a recorded wave of unknown energy spread throughout the universe, causing changes both great and small which last to this day. The first signs of this were shown on the afternoon news broadcast, as many of the Avengers were out at a charity event and suddenly they began to change before the eyes of the public. A panic ensued, although several of the changed heroes were able to contain the worst of it. As we all know by now, news came in of more changes both minor and drastic, all within the superhuman community. Still, scientists are unable to understand the source of this major event, as there seems to be no rhyme or reason to each transformation. Even some of the normal celebrities were changed, although many more may have gone unreported.

These changes wouldn't be contained to just living beings, things all over would change in time. Thanks to the witnessed transformations of many, congress had to work quickly to pass new laws, protecting those changed from discrimination. Other civilized countries thankfully followed, passing similar laws designed to protect those with powers or who had been changed by the Chaos Wave. And those changed began to have an effect upon the world in time. As many new technologies were brought to the world, including the hovercars we have all come to enjoy. Records are still being taken of how much the Chaos Wave changed the world, both for individuals and the world as a whole. The amount found has been staggering.

Due to the large number of superhumans in the United States, it has been affected the hardest. Especially the most affected has been the New York area, thanks to the transformation of most, if not all, of the Avengers members one way or another. The Avengers officially broke up that day, an end to an era. But thanks to the calm actions of both the U.N. and United States, the panic which seemed assured was prevented. As a new international team of heroes was formed, headed by the legendary Captain America. Global Defense Force or G.D.F. as they have come to be known, being given the old Avengers mansion as a main headquarters. It wasn't long before branch teams were being formed in different states of the U.S. as well as in other counteries. Several former Avengers joined with Captain America to form the main team. Including the likes of the transformed Bruce Banner aka Sharpshooter and even the former man servent, Edwin Jarvis, now a man in his late 20s and gifted with superhuman powers, joined the G.D.F.

But reports soon came in of a second team being formed, mostly of former Avengers as well, dubbed the New Avengers. Lead by the former Hawkeye, knowing going by Blind Swordsman, it declared itself as a counterpoint to the G.D.F. They would go where they were needed, when they were needed and would answer to no government. This announcement was what formed a rivelry between the two grounds which last to this day. Even the famous android, Vision, now a fresh and blood human, joined up with the Avengers, feeling the G.D.F. rules were too constraining. This team has proved itself time and again, even working alongside their rivals in the G.D.F. when faced with a large enough threat.

But the legacy of the Avengers doesn't end there, as more than a few of them were transformed into children and teenagers by the Chaos Wave. Despite their parents and guardians protest, several of them formed a new team, calling themselves The Teen Guardians. The defacto leader of this group is the transformed former Tony Stark aka Iron Man, now going by Iron Girl, the Chaos Wave transforming him into a teenage girl. But the strangest fact involving the former Avengers was those who had living family still. Scared by the changes to those they once knew, each was basically disowned. Thus their fellow former Avengers stepped up, many becoming legal guardians of their younger ex-teammates and in some cases even adopting them as their own child. As is the case of Terri Rogers, Iron Girl, who is now the daughter of Captain America.

Due to the events of that day, many changed heroes as well as villains were forced to reveal their true identities, if they wished to prove legal ownership of property. Those who were too young to retain their property had it placed into ownership of their legal guardians or parents. A boon for the G.D.F., which still now has access to the technology and funds of the former Tony Stark. Although this was a tragic turn of events, mainly for the heroes of the world, as the villains they faced new their true identities and could thus target friends and family. Although some of the villains when interviewed have stated that a new code of honor has been formed, one which states relatives and friends are off-limits. I for one am glad that most of them are out in the open now, though I finally understand why Spider-Man and others of his ilk hid behind masks for so long.

And onto the subject of Spider-Man and his ilk, even the wallcrawler was changed, though he has declined to state in what way so far. Peter Parker could have remained hidden, his normal identity intact, but he proved himself to be a man of honor, choosing to reveal the fact he was once Spider-Man that day. And I for one am proud to call him a friend. But it seems even those close to the superpowered were sometimes changed, as Mrs. Mary Jane Watson-Parker proved, known to the public as the superheroine Blip. But the most shocking of all was the transformation which happened to his Aunt May. For the Chaos Wave left her as a 20-something woman with supermodel looks and powers like her own nephew used to possess. She dubbed herself Spider-Babe, despite the embarassment this sometimes brings to Peter, and sales of her calenders have topped records for the past 2 years.

But as I said, not everything which came of the Chaos Wave was good. For although they are less dangerous than before, some considering them nothing more than a public nussance, a group of Spider-Man's former villains, all transformed greatly by the Chaos Wave, now call themselves the Mall Rats. The obvious leader of the group is the once brilliant and mad Doctor Octopus, now calling herself Mall Queen and the oldest of the group. It seems they were all transformed into teenage girls, granted great power but had their personalities completely changed in the process. All they seem to care about is taking what they want without a care, but only target malls and never endanger civilians, which is why the police have stated they need to take care of more dangerous criminals still on the loose, before they move on to public annoyances like the Mall Rats.

Now I wrap up my commentary on how the world has changed due to the Chaos Wave with one thing. Although we don't know its source, nor why it caused such changes, we do know one thing. We can endure these changes, along with what they have brought and will bring in the future. For as a people, we are resiliant and will adapt. The Chaos Wave is a force which the source or full nature of hasn't been figured out yet, even after 2 years of study. Even magic users state that it was only partially magical in nature. Most superhumans were transformed in one way or another by the Chaos Wave, as were some celebrities, although this number was low for unknown reasons. Anti-discrimination laws that protect those with superpowers and those who were transformed passed in many countries, though there are still some places where being one of those changed by the Chaos Wave can result in attacks or even enslavement. New technologies available to the public include such things as hover cars and cycles, portable video phones and cheap energy. Lingering energy from the Chaos Wave is still around, it could cause more transformations without warning, although none have been reported yet.

Old teams were either changed forever or reformed with old and new members. Some former heroes are now villains and vice versa, some just gave up on the hero/villain deal to live relatively normal lives. No changes to the rules used in the setting, except tech is ahead of even normal Marvel Universe now, with respects to what the public can buy. New technological heroes and villains, especially government prison guards agents, exist. The Chaos Wave created many new pocket dimensions which can be reached from physical locations in the universe, several of which have been populated by heroes, villains and citizens founding their own nations as well.

One thing to note about the Chaos Wave universe is that the events of the past 15 years or so which happened in the Mainstream Marvel Universe [aka 616] didn't happen here. It could be that all the potential energy of these events built up over time, resulting in the Chaos Wave. But that is just one theory.

Description of Powers: Captain America possesses peak human agility and reflexes beyond any seen by modern man, thanks to the Super Soldier Serum. The Chaos Wave has increased his strength, stamina and endurance all to superhuman levels. He can lift up to 50 tons with barely being slowed down, break through even some of the toughest barriers with a charge and even brace himself so he is virtually unmovable. His skin is bullet-proof and he is tougher than a Sherman tank, able to weather attacks which would fell lesser beings.

A master of many forms of martial arts, he is a dangerous opponent to underestimate. And with his legendary shield he is a force to be reckoned with. As leader of the Global Defense Force, he has access to resources few others can dream off.

History: Captain America, his history is legendary and his deeds are epic. Even the force known as the Chaos Wave couldn't change that. He is stronger and tougher than ever before and helped to calm the panicking public after the changes to their heroes and even villains was public. The Avengers and many other groups broke up or reformated in the wake of the Chaos Wave. Captain America was called and agreed to be the leader of a newly formed U.N. superhero group, called Global Defense Force. They have performed admireably in the post Chaos Wave world but some see them as nothing more than government puppets now, following orders instead of just fighting evil on their own terms.

Less than 6 months after the Chaos Wave happened, Steve Rogers was able to adopt the transformed Iron Man, now his daughter. Terri and him get into fights about a lot of things, including her clothes, make-up and her going out to fight evil as part of the Teen Defenders. But he still loves her like his own flesh and blood and would die to protect her. The former Tony Starks' resources are under her father's control til she comes of age, which aids Global Defense Force with access to former Stark technology.

Description: Captain America is an attractive and physically fit male in his early 30s, standing at 6'6" now and weighing in at 270 lbs. His blond hair and blue eyes make him an all American guy. He tends to wear simple blue or brown shirts with black jeans and tennis shoes when off duty. :arrow: Tigra's powers were changed in a drastic way by the Chaos Wave. She can transform into a white with black strips celestial tiger. This form gives her a lot of power and abilities, including the ability to heal others and herself, generate the equal of sunlight in a large area and even a powerful roar.

Description of Powers:Celestial Tiger has the power to turn into a 10' tall, 15' long white with black strips furred celestial tiger. In this form she has superhuman strength, speed and stamina. She is immune to most normal firearms, immune to disease, poisons and even entrapment while in this form. She glows with white light constantly, can leap superhuman distances, run up to 100 mph and even walk on air and not be harmed by any fall. She can heal herself and others by tough, generate sunlight in a 10k foot radius, and even generate a roar which can deafen anyone within 55' of her for a while. She has all of the senses of a tiger and then some, able to sense evil and even danger by scent alone. Her mind is shielded from mental powers while in this form as well.

Both in her celestial tiger form and normal human form, she heals faster than normal humans, can regrow limbs and with come back to life if slain in only an hour. She is almost as dangerous in her human form as in her celestial tiger form, trained extensively to hone her combat skills and outfited with advanced gear, such as her customized blaster rifle and collapsable ultra-plastic shield.

History:Tigra was helping at the charity event, doing what she could to raise money, when the Chaos Wave struck. She found her fur retracting and her abilities reduce to those of a normal human. Shocked at this state of normalcy, she still tried to help out and calm the panicking public as best she could. When it all died down, at least for now, she went with the others back to the mansion. The discussion got heated about the fate of the Avengers, with Captain America saying it should be disbanded, too many of them changed drastically by the event to keep going right now. While Hawkeye was the most vocal proponent for keeping the Avengers intact, saying they would adapt as they have in the past. But he was outvoted, with even Greer voting to disband, not seeing herself able to continue as a hero right then.

But just one week later, she was witness to a vicious attack by the monster who would come to be known as Blood Rex. Something inside her couldn't hold itself back, as she felt a surge of strength and power like nothing she ever felt before. Charging the beastial creature, she was able to fight it off and send it running before it could kill anyone. Seeing her reflection in a nearby window, she couldn't believe she was in the form of a giant white tiger. But something else called her to, as she was drawn to the wounded and licked their wounds, finding them healing before her very eyes. One of the witnesses, an elderly Japanese man, called her a Celestial tiger, like those in Japanese lore. And the name stuck, as Captain America caught news of the situation and invited her to join the Global Defense Force, which she did in a heartbeat, glad to be back by Cap's side as a hero once more.

But news of one of the former Avengers came to her, Starfox aka Eros of Titan, had been turned into only a 12 year old human girl by the Chaos Wave and was currently in an orphanage. She applied immediately and thanks to Cap got the paperwork pushed through quickly, as the young girl was adopted and became Nozomi Nelson, being Japanese. But raising her has been harder than Greer first suspected, as the girl might be human but she has an extremely powerful power. It has been hard, but over almost the past 2 years Greer has been teaching her to think before she spoke, least she say the fateful words "I wish..."

Description:Greer is an attractive woman in her early 30s. She has black hair down to the middle of her back and intense green eyes which are hard to ignore. Her skin is tan and she has no scars or marks to mar her appearance. In normal identity, she tends to wear simple blouses, knee-length skirts and 2" heels. As Celestial Tiger in her human form, she wears a white with black stripped armored jumpsuit, holding an ultra-plastic shield in her left hand and wielding her customized blaster rifle in her right hand. In her giant tiger form, Celestial Tiger is a 10' tall, 15' long white furred tiger with black strips and glowing with white light constantly.

:arrow: Jennifer Walters transformation by the Chaos Wave didn't make her any less the sex symbol she was before. Now she is the living personification of heat, both with supermodel looks and her heat-based powers. She still has a minor degree of enhanced strength and toughness.

Description of Powers:Hotstuff has enhanced human level strength, able to lift up to 1,200 lbs. easily and able to damage reinforced steel. She is a lot tougher than a normal human, but not bullet-proof anymore. Her main form of powers are the ability to generate heat for various uses and an immunity to all forms of heat. She can surround her body in an intense aura of heat able to melt steel that comes into contact with her and inflict severe burns on living beings. She is able to see into the infrared spectum, seeing the heat sources around her. She can generate extreme heat in a 25k foot radius at will, increase the internal temperature of living beings to directly harm them, cause objects to ignite, melt anything up to reinforced steel with ease and even cause a powerful surge of heat around herself, harming anyone within either a 55' or up to 275' radius around herself as if they came into contact with her heat aura.

She can charge her fists with intense heat, capable of burning through the most impervious of defenses. She has learned how to use the heat she generates to create intense thermals which she has learned how to ride on, flying up to 400 mph while doing so. And she still possesses some limited regeneration, healing from the worst of her injuries and even the draining of her abilities at a fast rate.

History:She-Hulk was helping out at the charity event, entertaining kids and adults alike with feats of strength, when suddenly she felt like her body was beginning to burn up. The heat got more and more intense, til she felt like the very air around her would burst into flames. Opening her eyes, suddenly the heat felt like it was nothing to her, although a nearby banner had burst into flames and people were staggering around, the heat being too intense to withstand for long. Finally seeing her reflection in a nearby large mirror, Jennifer Walters realized that She-Hulk was no more and that she was the source of the extreme heat. Concentrating as best she could, the heat died down almost immediately, although she still felt like it was inside her, a part of her very being now.

Finally back at the Avengers mansion and into a new set of clothes, her others having been burned off her as they weren't ready for such intense heat, she sat down at the meeting to decide what must be done. Feeling she was a threat to those around her as long as she didn't have full control over her new powers, she voted with Captain America and the majority which resulted in the Avengers disbanding. Upon the forming of the Global Defense Force, she was one of Captain America's first recruits and has been one of their best fighters ever since.

More responsibility feel into her life, as the transformed Living Lightning now had the appearance and powers of a younger version of She-Hulk. Adopting her, the girl was precocious and full of energy, too strong to control for long with her powers. Thus Jennifer realized there was only one way to get her under control. The newly reopened Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters now would allow students of any kind who possessed powers, including adults who wished to learn how to control their powers. The newly dubbed Hulkette began to fit in with the other students her own age quickly, loving the ability to test her newfound strength in the Danger Room.

Soon after joining the G.D.F., Jennifer began to date Edwin Jarvis, shocked at how attractive he was and how considerate. Almost 2 years of courtship later, which Edwin insisted upon despite her wishing otherwise, they are engaged and will be married in a couple of months. Only the future knows what kind of children they will have together.

Description:Jennifer is a beauty with super-model looks, tall and with a strong muscle tone. Her skin is now a reddish tone, her eyes like two points of pure red heat and her hair a firey red which hangs down to just above her butt. She wears simple outfits most of the time, with blouses, skirts and flats which have been heat-proofed. On dates though she has several dresses, some more sexy than others. As Hotstuff, she wears a green, one-piece swimsuit style uniform with a pair of ankle boots.

:arrow: The Chaos Wave was a blessing for Edwin Jarvis, restoring his youth and giving him the kind of powers he used to only dream of. He has the power to generate and manipulate a strange liquid metal into different forms and states. And has only started to scrap the surface of his true potential.

Description of Powers:Metallix has the power to generate a strange liquid metal and manipulate it into different forms and states. So far he has learned how to project a blast of liquid metal, both in different states and at different tempuratures, create objects out of the liquid metal, coat an area with semi-cool liquid metal to slow others down, trap targets in the liquid metal, form different weapons from the liquid metal and even force the liquid metal down someone's throat if he grapples them. He is able to vary how much power is focused into each effect and can have more than one of these going so far.

By forming a platform of solidify liquid metal, he can fly at up to 400 mph while riding on it. He has the ability to see through any metals, not just the liquid metal he generates. And his most impressive use is his liquid metal armor, a form of semi-solid liquid metal armor he forms around himself, constantly flowing and adapting to attacks used against it, including absorbing the force behind them. It takes only a little concentration to maintain the armor and keep it in a constantly flowing state.

History:Edwin Jarvis couldn't believe it as he was cleaning up the Avengers mansion, as most of the Avengers were out at a charity event for the next couple of hours. Suddenly he felt like the years were falling away from him, til he was in his late 20s and in better shape than he had ever been before. The news of the Chaos Wave came quickly and Jarvis readied the mansion for the return of the change Avengers. Some of what he saw shocked him, although Jennifer Walters' new form drew him in, it was love at first sight. When he was notified of the Avengers disbanding, he was devistated, seeing them as an extended family for so many years now.

But the changes kept on coming, as out in Central Park at mid-day, a foolish purse snatcher tried to run off in front of him. Charging the man, he tackled him to the ground, only to have him break free and pull a knife. Raising his hands, his powers finally activated under the stress of the situation, trapping the gunman's arms in a coating of quickly hardening liquid metal. News spreads fast and Jarvis heard of the Global Defense Force and how Captain America was leading it. He immediately signed up, finally getting to be a hero himself instead of just helping take care of their home and them as well.

His past in the Air Force and his boxing skills aided him in the intense training sessions, forcing him to hone and adapt him newly discovered powers. And something else which gave him a reason to stay was the fact that Jennifer Walters, now calling herself Hotstuff, had joined the G.D.F. At first it was just casual conversation, then regular dates over the past couple of years. Now they are engaged to be married in just a few months and Jarvis feels this will be a bigger challenge than all the super-fights he had been in since the Chaos Wave happened.

Description:Jarvis is an attractive man in his late 20s now, with a body like a model and the muscle tone of a true lifeguard. His black hair is kept trimmed and neat, his blue eyes showing a kindness behind them. He tends to wear simple tee-shirts or button-up shirts, blue jeans and tennis shoes most of the time. As Metallix, he has a chrome steel colored bodysuit, including a mask over the top half of his face.

:arrow: For Bruce Banner, the Chaos Wave was nothing but a gift to him. For the Hulk is no long inside him, Bruce is free of having to live with a monster within. It also gifted him with superhuman skill with any range weapons, in particular pistols, sniper rifles and energy weapons of any sort. Grateful for a second chance, he married the love of his Betsy Ross shortly afterward and joined the G.D.F. on the request of Captain America himself.

Description of Powers:Sharpshooter has superhuman skill and accuracy with any known ranged weapon. Not only can he hit with shots that would be considered impossible by most, he also can consistantly hit the weak points of a target. In particular when he is using pistols, sniper rifles and energy weapons of any sort. With these sorts of firearms, if he takes time to aim, he can hit a critical and highly vulnerable point with great ease and fire at longer range.

This power has been supplimented by intense training to hone his new talents and make him a more effective marksman. He can even fire with no problem while laying down and shoot with pinpoint accuracy.

History:Bruce Banner could feel it after that strange wave of energy passed, the Hulk was no longer a part of him and he was free. Telling the news to Betsy Ross, even her father approved their marriage, glad to have that nightmare out of all of their lives at last. Evidence of his new powers was shown one day when he was out on the shooting range, hanging out with his father in law. His accuracy was nothing short of amazing, a skill he lacked before and even then few if any could show this level of skill, even with a lifetime of training. Upon this news being leaked, Captain America soon contacted Bruce, an offer to join the Global Defense Force and use his new powers for good.

Reluctant at first, even Betsy knew he couldn't hide his gifts from the world. She saw the look on his face every time the Hulk was mentioned, this was a second chance and he was passing it up. It took proding by Betsy for several weeks, saying to use his new gifts in a way he never could be, to help him from dwelling on the Hulk and to do some good. She only made him promise one thing, to always come back alive to her. This he could do, especially with teammates like Captain America backing him up. Almost 2 years later, he has served with distinction on the Global Defense Force, taking him the training and showing he could be a true asset time and again.

They even have an adoptive son now, the transformed Thor, now Donald Banner aka Kid Chaos. They sometimes have trouble keeping him under control, especially with his powers, but he is a good kid for the most part. Although Betsy has been hinting about trying for a child of their own resently.

Description:Bruce Banner is a fairly average looking guy, average build and height with normal skin tone. He has short brown hair and brown eyes which don't stand out. In civilain identity, he keeps to simple button-up shirts, jeans and tennis shoes. As Sharpshooter, he has a light brown uniform with a bandoler across his chest and holsters for his two pistols. His various rifles are normally kept stored safely away, except when training or on a mission. He normally keeps one on his person, slung over his back and held there by a strap, the other 2 rifles being kept in the current vehicle incase he keeps to switch them out.

:arrow: The legendary archer, Hawkeye, was changed drastically by the Chaos Wave. From losing all his archery skills and having them replaced with skill in swordsmanship, to having his greatest gift striped from him, his eyes. Now he senses things through a mental awareness of his surroundings. The changes have forced him to mature, becoming a true leader and realizing his every decission affects many others.

Description of Powers:With the loss of his eyes completely, Hawkeye is no more. Taking the name Blind Swordsman, he is just as skilled with them as he was previously with a bow and arrow. He can skillfully target vulnerable areas, slipping the blade between chinks in an armor or striking at areas like the vital organs or the back of the head. He can strike with the flat of the blade when needed. As his bow was famous before, so now is his super-alloy longsword, created for him by the former Hank Pym, now Gizmo-Girl.

His normal vision was replaced with a kind of mind's eye sight, allowing him to see things in a 360 degree radius around himself with just as much detail and accuracy as his former eyes could. He is able to hear ultrasonic and subsonic sounds now as well, as his hearing has become much more sensitive, the opposite of his former hard of hearing.

History:Clint Barton was putting on an archery show as a part of a charity event involving the Avengers. Just as he had finished and went to turn to look at the crowd, everything went dark suddenly. Hearing screams all around him, he soon found by focusing on his mind's eye he could see everything around him, in every direction. Feeling his face, he could see why the crowd before him would be screaming. For all he felt were his eyes should be was smooth flesh. Thanks to the intervention of other heroes, the panicking public was calmed down, while Clint simply sat down, bemoaning this turn of fate.

But seeing through his new expanded mind's eye what had happened to the other Avengers, he realized he hadn't gotten the worst of it. Thus he sought to train and learn how to use his new gifts, wishing to remain a hero in a world which needed them now more than ever. He found to his great despair all of his previous archery skills were gone. Only to pick up a longsword which was on display at the Avengers mansion, finding he instinctively knew the right way to wield, along with many techniques to use it. But what came only days after the fateful event shocked him, as the Avengers were officially disbanded. He felt that with just a few months to adapt, they could still work together as a team. But so many others were either too young now to be members or felt their changes were too great to keep it going.

Feeling aimless, Clint began to work on his own, calling himself the Blind Swordsman now. Til soon the news came out of a new team being created and sanctioned by the U.S. and U.N., Global Defense Force which was being headed by Captain America. After the first few missions which they went on, Clint realized they were nothing but pawns for the governments now, only doing missions when sanctioned to. A new team was needed, one which didn't answer to any government and would go out to do what is right when needed. Thus Clint began to contact his old teammates in the Avengers, first getting a new base, since the old Avengers mansion had been taken over by the G.D.F. Then the task of bringing in more and more teammates, til they were force to be reckoned with.

Thanks to the new laws being passed, the New Avengers were able to work as a hero team, under the new vigillante laws. Clint as Blind Swordsman was named the official leader, despite his protest at first. So far he has done admirably, showing a new level of maturity and responsibility in his role as team leader.

Description:Blind Swordsman is an attractive male in his mid-30s, with blond hair kept trim. His skin is lightly tanned and he has several scars on his arms from previous fights. He wears a black leather outfit with a sheath on his belt, sturdy black boots and black leather gloves, finishing his outfit with a black bandana worn over where his eyes used to be. With it off, all he has there is smooth flesh over his eyesockets. When off duty, he tends to wear simple tee-shirts, blue jeans and tennis shoes, keeping the black bandana on at all times least he freak anyone out with his appearance.

:arrow: Julia Carpenter found her former spider-powers gone forever, being gifted with advanced telecyber powers, along with the ability to understand any code or computer language, as well as speak to and understand machines. Overtime she she has built a powerful hover chair for herself to ride into battle, as well as designed and built the New Avengers' super-jet.

Description of Powers:Codecracker is a powerful telecyber, able to link to any computers within 2 million miles of her to access their systems and files, as well as being able to control computer guidance systems and any machines within range. Her skill with computers has been enhanced by this link, as well as giving her the ability to understand any code or computer language, as well as speak to and understand any machine. She can see through any security camera within 20 million miles, although she has to be aware of their location and existance to access them. She can also trigger a power surge on any electronics/electrical systems she can sense, causing damage which is hard to detect.

She has two major devices which are powers unto themselves, due to how powerful each is. The first is her advanced hover chair, a similar design to Professor Xavier's old one, although chrome steel in color. It allows her to do many things and have access to many powers while sitting in it. These include: Flight up to 400 mph, enhanced defenses, including an impervious force field that protect her from the environment, and advanced computer systems which greatly speed up performing any mental tasks. The sensory array is one of the most advanced around, with radar, built-in compass and range detector, radio scanners, advanced chronometer and advanced electromagnetic scanners and analyzer system. Two swivel ports can open to bring forth a pair of powerful electron cannons, capable of powerful shocks or stunning a target like a powerful taser. In addition the chair can be electrified when needed, with no danger to Codecracker.

The second is one which she shares with the other New Avengers, an advanced jet of her own design. It can carry up to 12 tons at once, including passangers and cargo. It is capable of silent flight at speeds up to 5k mph, is made of an unknown super-alloy, and has advanced anti-radar and cloaking systems. The alarm is top of the line, chaff systems help protect against radar-guided weapons and missiles, it has hidden compartments which can hold up to 1600 lbs in, one of the best handling systems around, as well as navigation system, a radar detector, 10 ejector seats and a remote control system. Due to the danger of the threats they face on a regular basis, she has outfited it with several weapons systems. Including powerful dual laser-cannons, armor penetrating cluster missiles and even a powerful tractor beam.

History:Julia Carpenter was at home, her daughter out with friends, when the Chaos Wave hit. She felt every ounce of her spider powers leave her, while something else took their place. An innate understanding of computers in a way she never dreamed, along with her understand the machines around her as if they were speaking English. She found herself able to mentally link to any computer or machines, even to places far off the planet. On the news were reports of the Chaos Wave and what was known so far, how all of the Avengers at a charity event had been each transformed by it. What hit her the hardest was when the Avengers announced to the world that they were disbanding. Well, Captain America announced it. And just when the world needed heroes now more than ever before.

Thus despite worrying about her daughter Rachel, it wasn't a hard decission to join the New Avengers when the call came from Clint. At first she simply helped, along with Quantum, to build and outfit a new base for the team, one with some of the most advanced computer systems in the world. After this, she saw herself left behind on monitor duty, helping to coordinate the actions of the rest of the team but seeing none herself. She soon set to work on her masterpiece, an advanced hover chair which she outfited with many defensive, offensive and sensory abilities. It wasn't long before she became a regular field agent, even taking on the likes of Lord Doom and members of Myth Syndicate. Transportation soon wasn't a problem for the team either, as she designed and built one of the most advanced super-jets ever seen. Now they could truely rival the Global Defense Force and show themselves to be the better heroes, unbound by red tap and government liasons.

Description:Julia is a highly attractive woman, with model-good looks and lean muscle tone. She has fair skin from staying either inside or in her hover chair so much. She has beautiful blue eyes and long strawberry blonde hair which hangs down to the middle of her back. She tends to wear simple blouses, slacks or skirts and 1" heels most of the time. As Codecracker or when working, she tends to wear a blue bodysuit with rubber gloves and boots. In the field, she will be in her chrome steel hover chair.

:arrow: The Scarlet Witch, it would seem her natural mutant powers would be compatible with the Chaos Wave. Yet it stripped her of her mutant nature and almost all of her magical powers. Instead she has mystical powers, not unlike an angel. Infued with "holy fire", this has given her many abilities and infused her body with great strength and health.

Description of Powers:Crimson Angel's body is infused with "holy fire", which has many affects upon her very being. Her physical strength, agility and stamina have all been increased to near superhuman levels. She can survive in any environment, along with no longer needing food, drink or sleep to sustain herself. Her body heals at an incredible rate, without any action on her part mainly. She can even regrow lost limbs and damaged organs, such as when her wings were cut off by a sadistic Lord Doom, only to grow back in 20 minutes.

She has crimson colored angelic wings, allowing her to fly, but also being hindered if they are bound or somehow disabled. She has been gifted with the ability to sense both evil and innocence accurately, as well as able to sense her direction so she won't get lost while flying around. Her "holy fire" manifest in the form of silver flames and is a true force to be reckoned with. It allows her to project it as powerful blast, heal others even from the most grievious of injuries and tap into the strength of the heavens to be able to lift thousands of tons. History:Demonstraiting her magical powers for a group of children at a charity event, suddenly she felt changes come over her but no pain to indicate anything was wrong. The children watched in awe, seeing the changes she was undergoing even she wasn't aware of. As a giant pair of crimson colored angelic wings grew from her back and she was enveloped in silver flames. Feeling a strength she had never known before, she saw the panic in people as the other Avengers there were transforming in different ways all around them. Flying into the air, she tried to calm down the panicking public, helping to avoid serious injuries to those in the area and showing herself to still be a true hero.

When the Avengers were disbanded, Wanda was one of those who had voted to keep it active, but was outvoted by the majority. Working as an independant hero called Crimson Angel, she saw the suffering caused by those changed by the Chaos Wave and the lack of enough heroes to deal with it right then. So when Clint Barton approached her about joining the New Avengers he was forming, she eagarly accepted his offer. She has proved herself to be one of the most powerful and willing to sacrifice of the changed heroes of the world, nearly dying more than once when it meant saving an innocent from harm.

Description:Wanda is still the statuesque beauty she has always been, the only change now being the large crimson wings on her back. She wears her auburn hair cut shorter than before, down to just past her shoulders, while her blue eyes blaze with an intensity never seen before. She has a light tan and no scars of any sort to mar her appearance. In civilain mode, she loves to wear simple blouses, knee-length skirts and flats. As Crimson Angel, she wears a red one piece outfit which covers even her legs, with a pair of knee-length boots on and a simple belt to carry her things.

The Chaos Wave turned her into a human sized fairy, complete with the power to shrink, fairy magic and other powers. Use her ranks in Luck to gain alternate powers for her Magic, representing spells she doesn't use that often.

Description of Powers:Fairy is a true living fairy in the sense of the word. She can speak to and understand animals, is able to turn invisible at will, fly using her wings, shrinking to 8" tall while retaining her full sized abilities, and is virtually untrackable. Her fairy magic is diverse, with a few spells she tends to rely on. From the power charm others, turn them invisible as long as they remain close to her, create "glamour" illusions, project blast of mystic energy and even able to summon forth a thick natural mist over a large area, these are but a few of the spells she is known for.

History:Flying through a miniature obstacle course to entertain at a charity event, Janet suddenly felt something change inside her, as screams rang out from those around her. The other Avengers were each undergoing their own changes, as an energy burned through Janet's very being. Knocked unconscious by the force of this power, she awoke to find the world a changed place. The panic of earlier had died down, but she couldn't believe it as she looked upon the other Avengers, all changed in big and small ways. Most shocking of all, she understood the squirrels in the area, as if they spoke plain english. Further testing back at the mansion proved she was some kind of fairy now, with all of the powers and magic that would expected from one.

The disbanding of the Avengers was especially hard on Janet, as she needed the support of her friends now more than ever. But she was able to endure all that her new powers entailed, she would no longer be a back-up hero in the fights. Seeing how the U.N. had so much red tape for the newly formed Global Defense Force, Janet refused to have to deal with them again. Hearing about Clint forming the New Avengers, she approached him and asked to join, which he accepted quickly. She is one of the most powerful of the New Avengers, her powers aiding in combat and out of it equally well. Plus the sight of her transformed ex-husband brought sympathy to her eyes, as she applied to adopt him. It took several months, especially with the chaos caused by the changes to superpowered beings around the world. But finally she had a daughter to call her own, Hanna Dyne. Who she hopes will never ask for help with her homework, as she is just short of superhuman in intellect now.

Description:Janet appears as she did before, a highly attractive woman with blue eyes and auburn hair. Too those able to see such things, she has a strong aura of magic around her constantly. Her ability is about the same now, although she has to either be full sized or down to 1', no inbetweens now, at least for the time being. Her normal clothes tend to be light blue or green blouses, skirts and 1" heels. As Fairy, she can transform her clothes into a silver fullbody costume, with slits for her wings and no mask.

:arrow: The Vision, now turned into a flesh and blood being by the Chaos Wave and gifted with incredible power to control time in various ways. He has learned how to focus and harness it in unusual ways over the past 2 years.

Description of Powers:Quantum is an extremely powerful time manipulator. He has enhanced combat skills and abilities due to this, allowing him to react before normal reflexes would have a chance to respond. He can move between the ticks of a clock or the blink of an eye, effectively invisible to any means of seeing him. He can sense other temporal effects and always knows what time it is. He is immune to any temporal effects, including alterations in the time stream. By controlling the flow of time around himself and up to one other person in contact with him, he can move at the equivalent speed of 50k mph and so fast everyone and thing around him seems to be frozen. He can freeze time in a 60' radius at will, only their strength of will being able to fight against it and be able to move normally.

By controlling time selectively on himself or another living being, he can cause them to heal as if days have passed in a matter of seconds, even able to cause lost limbs or damaged organs to regrow. But his most devistating use of his control over time is what he calls his "time shock", which on living beings causes rapid bursts of being flung back and forth through time, the shock of it causing injury to them. On non-living objects it causes them to crumble to dust, as centuries of time hit them all at once.

History:Vision was out at the charity event, helping to put on a play, the role of a ghost the obvious part for him. Thankfully he was off-stage at the time the Chaos Wave hit, as he felt for the first time a heart beating in his chest. He was alive, a flesh and blood human at last. Seeing the panicking public all around him, he calmly tapped into a new power he sensed inside him, moving so fast no one saw him as he rescued people from being trampled and putting out fires as they started. It was his actions that day, along with many other heroes,which were instrumental in the fact that no one died.

Back at the Avengers mansion, he couldn't believe the words coming out of Captain America's mouth, how could he say the Avengers should be disbanded. After all the good they did, he couldn't see how this change in forms due to events out of their control should stop them now. It wasn't like they hadn't faced insurmountable odds in the past, yet his opinion didn't seem to matter, nor was his vote able to tip it into favor of keeping the Avengers intact. Which is why when Clint Barton approached him about joining the New Avengers, he jumped at the chance. It also gave him a chance to renew his relationship with Wanda, as they have been dating for the past 2 years and are finally engaged.

Description:Victor is an attractive man with a good build. He has a light tan with no scars which can be seen. His eyes are an unusual shade of purple that stands out, his hair a shock white and kept short. He tends to wear simple brown shirts, denim jeans and leather boots most of the time. As Quantum he wears a simple black armored jumpsuit, an hourglass on the chest.
