I remember reading about Shaq Fu. Game Players magazine even had him give a guest review of his own game- they gave it like a 73% or something, and glossed over all the flaws while he was there. After the fact, they just pretended like it didn't exist.

Let me just say that reading about Shaq-Fu does not do the game the injustice it truly deserves. It was bad, let's leave it at that.

And Kreuz, any chance of seeing more No More Heroes characters?

Yeah, I played it, too. It did suck, but in a fun way, at least as I recall from my salad days.

It was better than Steel and Kazam, though. :wink:

hte game itself, horrible. but the plot was salvagable (save the chosen one), and the rotoscoped sprites were well-animated

:arrow: the main character of No More Heros, Travis is third-rate loser with only two passions in life (anime and pro wrestling) before he won a "beam Katana" on an online auction, and was introduced to a life of contract killing after his girlfriend dumped him. and to everyone's surprise (himself especially), he's actually pretty good at it

:arrow: this build was highly influenced by Servitor_2152's version over at J-mart, albiet with my own altrations. most notably, I've folded Dark Side Mode into the Tsubaki, as most of it's bonuses require the beam katana anyway. however, that's what the mark by the restricted is for. anybody can weild tsubaki, but only Travis can use Dark Side Mode.
