-Princess Projectra (aka Sensor Girl in the late-80s era) is one of the less-used old-school Legionnaires, as she got written out to rule her home planet with Karate Kid at her side for years, until his death brought her out of retirement. Adopting the name Sensor Girl, she actually led the team for a bit, and did the whole 'my identity's a secret- even to my teammates' thing for a while. I find her interesting mainly because her personality if "imperious spoiled brat" is always an entertaining thing if thrown into a team of Captain Serious types or happy-go-lucky teen heroes. Plus, she's got the bonus of living on a swords & sorcery-type planet, which makes for lots of interesting situations, as she's no tech-genius, and a bit more superstitious than her friends.
-In the post-Zero Hour "hey, crazy idea, let's have some non-humanoids!" period (and why not? The GL Corps have had non-humanoids for decades, and the LOSH was in the even WEIRDER future, yet everyone was blue or purple Star Trek-style aliens), she got turned into a snake with the same powers. This was a bit controversial with fans of the hot platinum blonde chick, and didn't last more than a couple years.
-Illusion powers tend to be very pricey for something that can't actually HURT people, so Princess Projectra pretty easily matches her PL's points-cost between them and her Flight Ring. I tossed in some common AP-type uses for Illusion just for fun, and I think both fit quite well. This build also features her Sensor Girl-era as a bit of a secret spy, so her Bluff is well-used.
-In recent years, the Threeboot continuity has given the new Princess a few extra uses for her powers. She can now also find someone's darkest fears, and modify their personality slightly (gaining Emotion Control and Transform- Will Save as APs to her Illusions), as well as occasionally making Illusions come to life (the ridiculously powerful +3 Extra of Damaging to Illusion.... just say it's Illusion (All Senses) 5 as an AP of the core Illusion 10, kay?), but loses most of her Skills to balance out.
-Oh, and "Sensor", the snake-Projectra, has a few different things, losing arms (-4 pp), gaining mechanical ones (1 Equipment point), and gains Slithering (2 pp). She got Super-Strength once, too. Complicated little character.
