Thanks for the HP, Class Dunce; I have a hunch I'll be burning it right away, so I'll keep it... I'm not 100% sure I deserved it, because rolling to do something that's impossible shouldn't be necessary.

Did the Cameraman stay with me, or follow Ranger? It won't affect my post, but, if he stayed with me, I might ask him if he saw where Ranger went.

As for characters... if Crypsis was a female character, and Professor Leviathan went with his new background, that would be a good mix of 5... but I'm content to wait until we're out of the house to see if Nightblaze gets settled after his move.

Oi, completely missed that. Not 100% paying attention to the subtlety. In any case, it is not going to end well for out out doorsy hero...

I'd like to direct you towards this: http://www.myth-weavers.com/showthread. ... ost2089489

Whilst it by no means condones my sudden depature, I still wish to apologize for it.

If you knew you were going to be away the appropriate thing would have been for you to post here not somewhere that none of us even frequent. I hope that you find a game that you can enjoy but it’s not going to be this one. I don’t know if you wanted back in or not but it would be unfair to the others for me to allow you to play again since you’ve made it quite clear on more than one occasion that you don’t care about their time. Or mine. This was not your first warning.

If you would like to discuss it further please feel free to PM me.

The Cameraman is still with you, I really should start keeping track of your cameraman more in post... Your Cameraman is Terry and he's kind of bland you know. I like Carlie alot better, she has some spunk to her.

As for Crypsis, I still havn't heard from Bacon Golem. I sent him a PM on Monday and he hasn't made a single post on the site for nearly two weeks now which is a shame it was an interesting character.

I made an Add post in the Offsite gaming section of RPOL so hopefully we'll get a few applications off of that. I may send a PM to Macguffin later today and talk to him about Proffessor Leviathan.

I just saw your note on RPOL and I am interested. I will read through this OOC thread to get an idea of what kind of character I should be making after work. I should have an app in sometime tonight, just wanted to let you know of my interest.

AUDITION TAPE 08426 (The Hottie):

INTERVIEWER: Our next applicant calls herself the Hottie. I have to say, a lot of the girls applying for this show are playing up their looks but you are certainly up front about it.

THE HOTTIE: Its more than just a testament to my obvious beauty though. I can control and generateb fire, though it is more than just that of course. I can sense powerful flames that are far away. And flames sometimes talk to me, and tell me things. Fire likes me, and of course I like it too.

IN: So you're a pyro or something?

TH: No, I don't love fire in that sick, let me go burn down a building just to watch the flames kind of way, but I mean look at this. The Hottie puts her hand to her lips and blows a kiss into that air, a small fire in the shape of her lips flying out into the air for a few feet before bursting into a heart that hangs in the air for a few seconds before disapating completely See, for me fire is cool.

IN: So now that we covered your powers lets talk about the other aspect of your name. I must say you certainly dress to impress.

TH: Thanks! I chose a black costume to set off my red hair and blue accents to go with my eyes. Besides, red costumes on fire powered people is soooo cliche. I originally wanted my costume to have a skirt, but since my uncle made it to function as body armor he insisted on coverage for my legs so I went the catsuit route instead. He might have just been coming up with a reason to not send his neice out fighting crime in a mini-skirt though. It was hard enough to get him to give the boots more than 1 inch of heels. Its definately a lot sexier than the last costume he made for me, that's for sure.

IN: That's right, our viewers may not recognize you, but a few years ago you were known as Blazette sidekick to Professor Blaze, the daring super hero and the founder of the science of pyrophysics. But five years ago you dropped off the super hero scene completely. What happened?

TH: Its all my mothers fault. I got my powers when I was 13. I was at my uncle's house and at the time I didn't know he was a super hero, I just thought he was a scientist. I as exploring, I found his lab, I interupted an experiment, and BOOM super powers. My uncle convinced my mom to let me be his sidekick, and it was a blast. Best time I ever had. But as I got older I wanted to go into heroing full time but my mom was dead set on me going to college. She convinced my uncle to do something to me that deactivated my powers. I thought they were just gone, but he had only turned them off temporarily. When I turned 21 he told me what he had done and reversed the process. That was 6 weeks ago. I did graduate though, so mom's happy.

IN: Four years seems to have made a big difference. If you hadn't told me I would never have know the Hottie and Blazette were the same person.

A file footage photo of Blazette and Professor Blaze comes up on screen and zooms in on Blazette. She is athletic, and her costume is functional in an adventurer style with lots of pockets and a leather jacket and large goggles

TH: Yeah, I was constantly going on adventures back then so I was sort of a tomboy. A few years away from that gave me time to focus on boys and fashion though, and these days I know how to do my make-up right. It also helps that my boobs finally came in. *laughs*

IN: So college was wild oats time for you eh?

TH: And how. When I was Blazette I was friends with a lot of the other sidekicks, and afterwords I kept in touch with a lot of them. And y'know sidekicks all have abs of steel.....

IN: So are any of your hook-ups heros now? I smell guest star!

TH: You never know.

IN: Speaking of which, you have years of experience fighting crime, but all of it as a sidekick. That means you are both more and less experienced than the other applicants. How do you feel about that?

TH: I think I'll be way ahead of the pack. Of course the view is pretty nice from back there.

I like her, Gwyndolyn get a thumbs up on my side of things but I'm not gonna out and out approve her until I hear the opinions of the others.

I do have one note about the build, you bought the rank of protection for your costume through the powers, I would prefer if you did that through equipment. That would mean that you still have 4 equipment points to spend.

If I recall correctly, characters are supposed to be inexperienced as heroes. I'm not too concerned about that, though. A career as a child side-kick doesn't really effect the rest of us at all. The character doesn't (to my thinking) step on any toes in terms of niche... and personally, I was thinking that what the team could use is the wild-girl who'd be willing to start the cat-fights, which I suspect The Hottie is.

...I don't believe you need Nullify (fire) either. If you have Fire Control, that's a given.

So, I'm going to give a thumbs up there.

DC13 Will Save (1d20+1=4)
DC13 Will Save (HP Re-Roll) (1d20+1=4)
...That'll be a 14 with the +10.

I might not get back today, but I'm worried that I may have over-anticipated the results of my post. If things don't work the way I expect, I'll get my last post edited tomorrow.

Yeah Fell, you made way more actions than would have been possible in your turn.

Knocking down the door was a Standard Action (considering you don't fully know whats on the other side of the door any other actions regarding the door would have been a little ahead of yourself).

The fact that DoppleKim had placed herself between you and Claire, who had skittered to the other side of the room, would make it a little harder for you to just grab the girl and throw her out the door. That of course would be another standard Action.

So thats two standard actions in one round. That would also require a couple of move actions on your part as well. You can't do quite that much in one post.

In one round your only allowed one Move action and one standard action or two move actions.

So yeah, I'll expect an edit.

Ok, Action is kick the door. Move is to turn and face DoppleKim. I've added verbiage for flavour.

No problems with our new pyro here......of course that is making the broad assumption that Ranger makes it out of this.
