And here's the City of Heroes version of the costume. Couldn't make an exact rendition, but got as close as I could.

Say chillrb, back in the days when Storn first published his rendition of Cobalt, I was wondering what his powers were.

Could you post them here? Or at least give us a little background story and description?

I would like to see your works as well, just not here. Please... :)

I just wanted to show Storn that I enjoyed the comission so much I put him in a game Trapster. It's not my artwork, just a game creation. No evil intent here!

Paladin I'll PM you Cobalt Kid's stats so as not to hijack the thread :D

I appreciate the respect, Trapster, but I think this is on topic. AFter all, Chillrb was working off of my illo...and I was working off of his description. I was involved in the collaboration, and this is a public forum and a bit of tread topic drift is to be expected.

I don't mind if stats got posted here, nor the artwork. Within reason.

City of Heroes artwork generator REALLY needs Kirby dots!!!! Kid Cobalt cannot be the only super in that MMORG who is Kirby-esque!!! <g>

Death Tribble over at the Hero Boards is looking for a few good paranormal ideas to be illustrated by Yours Truly. He has paid me for a commission, that will included my process of making the portrait, so pencil sketch thru finish and some words on how I went about the process.

But right now, he is looking for more ideas with oomph... the ones so far have not wowed him yet. So if you have a superhero or supervillian idea that you would like to see illustrated... I suggest you get your fingers a tappin' to the link below.

Target Z stands for Target Zombie. This is a private commission for longtime patron, Bob F. Who commissioned it for his Brother's birthday. Who loves target shooting and zombies. So... why not combine the two?

The final is 24" tall, the size of the demo target that Bob sent me.

Also, if you are interested in a commission (below, not the zombie! the one in color...sheeesh <g>) go from description to rough sketch to final, check out this thread. I have rough pencil, pencil, inks, and final color stages with a bit of thought process spelled out.

From that prolific character generator, Death Tribble... Poley Bear. And a bit of DT's musings on the character....

What's worse than a Polar Bear ? A Polar Bear with a gun
What's worse than a Polar Bear with a gun ? A Polar Bear that knows
he's cool
How do you know that the Polar Bear is cool ? Because he's wearing a
leather jacket
What's worse than a Polar Bear wearing a leather jacket and carrying a
gun ? A Polar Bear that's mean
How do you tell whether a Polar Bear is mean ? Because they've been
able to go to the dentist and get a gold tooth
What's worse than a mean Polar Bear wearing a leather jacket and
carrying a gun ?
A Polar Bear that's evil.
How can you tell that a Polar Bear is evil ?
Because he's setting a bad example to kids by smoking
