His powers are telekinetic for the most part. His Flight allows him to skim along at high speeds by lifting himself off the ground he cannot actually fly, he won’t fall to the floor like a rock either. He can also launch himself into the air but this requires a little acrobatics on his behalf. His Telekinesis is not really that powerful, however he can employ it in various ways, if he focuses it on himself he can actually lift a lot more.

Clifford is an Ace with no Joker traits. He is quiet athletic and dropped out of a top business college after the incident, he isn’t to worried about cash as he was left quiet a fortune by his parents, who turned Black Queens at the time he was infected. Initially feeling the guilt of his parents dieing and him surviving, he went into seclusion for a year. In this time he managed to get over his guilt and finally understood that they died of no fault his own but just blind luck. He's now focusing his energies on tracking down the killers of his family.

His father was a successful industrialist in his own right, he had taught Clifford a lot about business although not the sharpest student at times, his natural ability to negotiate was obvious.

He is also a skilled magician, pickpocket, boxer and acrobat.

I like the basic outline. See if you can flesh him out a little. Remember, one or two feats or skills that will help with investigations would be good. they can be no-brainer things like a good Notice or esoteric things like Eidetic Memory. Since a great deal of the game is rp-ing and investigation, I would hate to have a player feel left out. So far though, I like him. I've always had sort of a fondness for the "tactile telekinetic" character.

Cheers I am trying to keep the powers at a lowish level as he is new into them, also trying to keep in theme with WC universe.

Nearly finished at work so i can get my hands on herolab and give him a proper working over.

Fatty,

I like Clifford. Very nice powerset. Thematic. Clearly written and concise. I'll be introducing Clifford, along with larry and CeeCee shortly (though not necessarily all at the same time).

Okay everyone...we will miss Peter Charleston (Godwall), but, we have not lost our transatlantic connection...in fact we've doubled it. Within the next "chapter" of posts, I will be introducing our three new characters (bringing our total to 8, so hold on to your hats, it may take me a little bit to get everything straight). the characters are:

Caitlyn "CeeCee" Corrigan-9thDoctor

Larry "lardo" Larson- Roguescribner

Clifford "Cliff" Haringay- Fatty

Each of these characters ought to bring an interesting powerset and role-playing perspective to your investigative team. I'm excited.

As you may have guessed from the IC thread posts, CeeCee was an independent detective, Killenbrooke has made the same deal as the rest of you and Larry and Cliff have to deal with the fact that the government pretty much, drafted them, using the "Exotic Powers Act".

I have to say, the game has been fun for me thus far, and I'm looking forward to the new pc's adding their own spice to the mix. I hope everyone is having a good time so far, 'cause your teams are rolling now.

Hey - great to have some new players on board. Welcome! Looking forward to interacting and solving some mysteries together... 8)

Horsenhero and 9thDoctor: Just had an idea... Cee-Cee's and Minos' background have some similarities - both ex-cops, and private detectives, perhaps they know, or know of each other? If everyone is OK with the idea we could roleplay them having met somewhere before the plane crash. What do you think? What degree of connection (if any) should they have? Could be anything from having worked on a case together as P.I.'s to just having heard of each other....

Personally, I have no problem with them having known each other before the Wild Card event. They wouldn't have worked together alot (she was a beat cop, he was detective grade), but there could be a some connections between the two.

Since the outbreak, it's almost inevitable they'd run into each other. Denver's Jokertown isn't that big at this point and two Wild Card PI's, even though one is a Joker and the other an Ace, are bound to cross paths.

Wrote you a PM. I guess Minos wuld at least know the Corrigan family (hey, how many cop families are there where everyone has the same initials?). He should have followed the scandal that let to CeeCee's quitting the force.
I think he could have helped her out wth informations a few times before the incident that made him a Joker...working together after that...why not? CeeCee knows her limitations and having a giant, strong man-bull covering one's back is never a bad thing. And she can deal with uptight norms for him that would never deal with such an obvious Joker-Ace.

I agree, Minos will know about the scandal that forced her to resign, but, I think I'll keep your previous interaction as P.I.'s limited to the case I mention in the IC thread (a case that is still open from CeeCee's end, by the way). If Minos and Johnny take the hint, we ought to see our intrepid shrinking Ace join the story very soon.

Everyone, just wanted to say...feel free to post at will. Yes, if you look at my posting times, there are only about 3 hours a day that I get to be online, reading and posting furiously. Unfortunately, work keeps me away from any electronics from about 4:30am to 4pm (my time), but, I do try to catch up as soon as I'm home. I wish I could do better, but, until they find a way to integrate computers into ranchwork, it's the best I got.
