Tezirat is amazing. Definitely not someone to mess with.

Now, however, they are looked down on as out of fashion, a crutch for the week.

No no no. GUNS are for the week. And swords are for the weekend.

(Thanks, Thorp - I so love the fine velveeta that is the 80's Flash. I mean... Brian Blessed in the role he was born to play...)

Thanks for catching my monkey typing, MK.

Tezirat finally came out the way I wanted him to. I've been working on that build for weeks, maybe even months. I can't really remember.

Ah, thanks for replying Thorp. I'd like to get more Mediator builds up soon, but I'll have to see what happens. In the meantime its an exercise one how interesting I can make 'space marines' again.

Woodclaw: I skimp on description/flavor of powers too often. That's really the interesting part of an original build, I've decided.

Yeah, because anyone who comes in expecting Tezirat to be weak, they're going to have THEIR worst WEEK ever.

Bizarre as it is, I am planning to do a total conversion of the GANTZ Manga. I'm just a little short on time to do original or complex characters right now, and I want to keep the thread alive. Naturally, this doesn't mean I'll be skimping on the detail, just decided to go with something less challenging.

-DAP: Super Strength 5
-DAP: Enhanced Dexterity 10

-This is the sort of power suit worn by hunters in GANTZ. Kurono was lucky to wear it on his first hunt as it makes the difference between life and death most of the time.

Complications (Hero)
Accidents (GANTZ hunts)

Background
Kei Kurono was pretty much your typical Japanese highschool student until he was hit by a train and ended up standing in a room with black ball at its center and a bunch of other recently-killed people around it. The black ball opens up, revealing a collection of black suits and weapons. Lucky for him, Kurono put on one of those suits because a few minutes later the whole group was transported back into Tokyo to hunt a weird and deadly alien. It’s like a game, but they fight to survive and figure out what the hell is going on.

GANTZ is a pretty weird manga but I’ve enjoyed it despite some of its objectionable content.

Maybe its because I'm only familiar with the Gantz anime, and only a few episodes of it, but aren't the Gantz guns Flawed in some way because of the time delay between the trigger being pulled and the bullets reaching the target?

Actually the beam reached the target almost immediatly (microwaves travels at the speed of light), but the effect takes some time to manifest.

I was going to give the GANTZ guns the distracting flaw to represent the uncertainty the users have as to the effects unless the user is trained with them. Nishi is experienced, so he doesn't have it.
