A sound like a handful of screws being tossed into a meat grinder warned the Red Horse that hir scaly adversary was not finished just yet. With a pirouette that would make Baryshinkov jealous the Red Horse brought the staff directly into the path of Algodon's wicked, toothy maw. The jaws clacked against the shaft of the Staff of Power and a few teeth went flying.

His impressive leap stymied the massive creature fell upon the tree branch that the Red Horse stood upon. The branch swayed and dipped wildly, swinging Algodon off to land on the ground with a tremendous THUD! as his mass slightly dented the soggy ground. The Red Horse, owing to a life time of practice dancing on just about every surface imaginable, stayed upright the staff firmly in hand.

All the tremendous fall had done to Algodon is knock the wind out of him but now his anger rose up in his heart and he looked up at the hateful creature that had done this to him. What he saw was something both beautiful and terrible. It was the Red Horse plummeting towards him the Staff of Power glittering in hir hand. Like lightning the staff crashed against Algodon's snout with nerve deadening impact.

"If you get up again," the Red Horse said, "I will hit you again. Understood?"

The snarling curse that Algodon uttered was completely drowned out by the roar of an atomic powered turbine engine.

"If. you. are. done. Horse. I. would. like. to. talk. to. you," spoke a voice that seemed to come from a hollow metal drum.

The Red Horse looked up as ice water poured into hir stomach.

"Mister Atomic," s'he said, "it has been a while."

Algodon Attacks (22 or better to Hit): 4 Roll + 10 Attack + 5 All-Out Attack = 19
The Red Horse Blocks: 10 Roll + 8 Attack + 2 Improved Block = 20

Acrobatics Check to remain on the branch: DC20
Algodon's Check: 17 Roll + 1 Dexterity Bonus = 18. He falls but the distance he falls is not enough to hurt him and he now lies prone on the ground
The Red Horse's Check: 19 Roll + 2 Dexterity Bonus = 21. Saved!

The Red Horse Attacks (16 or better to Hit): 12 Roll + 8 Attack + 4 Prone Enemy = 24. The Red Horse hits solidly.
Algodon's Toughness save DC27: 10 Roll + 14 Toughness = 24. Fails by 3, takes a Bruise.


Author's Note: Again I'm playing with formating and some of the rules of the game. I know I got some things wrong but I really just want to get on to the next thing with the character. It's a pretty big deal as it has to do with the Red Horse's fated nemesis. And an ally that is perhaps more terrible than Zigatron. Here's a hint: I built him as an experiment in meta-textual background.

I'm having some trouble with a character build. I want to make a sort of Japanese superhero type of character ala Starman from 'The Evil Brain'. A robot/android, or in this case gynoid, who, like Vision and the Red Tornado (ii), has powers you wouldn't expect of a robot.

The best I can come up with is that she has Prehensile Hair (UP) and can make Shadow Clones (Me&Ma).

Any help?

Many ranks in the Spinning power? That would be kinda cool combined with prehensile hair (like helicopter blades cutting up things)

Urania! New Age hippy-chick, alien who is a few decades late for the Summer of Love, but that won't stop her from bringing enlightenment and groovy feelings to planet Earth!

Urania comes from a planet orbiting a violent, violet star. As such her people developed psychic abilities to control energy waves to defend themselves. They are also under constant attack from the Chimeras, malevolent beings from before the creation of the universe, they thrive upon negative feelings and so seek to set all life against each other to gain ecstatic pleasure from an endless orgy of slaughter.

Notes:
James "Logan" Howlett here has become something of a character creation touchstone for different uses of Container. My build takes some of it's inspiration from Taliesin's build. You'll notice that in the Healing Factor Container I gave him a half-Immunity to lethal damage. I felt this was a good succinct way of portraying his nigh-unkillability. His super-senses I built as being Enhanced Notice limited to sounds and smells.

The main point of this build was to make a Wolverine that wasn't impossible to beat in less than four rounds. So I graded down his regeneration abilities and gave him a total of +9 damage with his claws.

Update 1: Feral Container altered to actually work. Thank you JoshuaDunlow for pointing that out!

Update 2: Added a picture by Gabriel Dell'Otto and cleaned up the Feats section so they were in alphabetical order among other formatting alterations for readiblity.

Update 3: Overhaul! I've learned a lot of about building characters since posting Wolvy and I wanted to better this early effort.
