really enjoyed The Algeron Files. I especially loved the Prometheans (Anton Loveless -- priceless). And Magog of course. I'd like to learn more about the Sikkai and the Gray.
Keep up the good work!
The book blew me away, despite the black & white format. So much that I think it is better overall than Crooks was.

DSumner wrote:One thing I think all of you are forgetting, the web enhancements. The Crone's entry and the color artwork are OUTSTANDING.
In the event that the Blackwyrm crew decide to add additional material to their site in the future, I'd like to see maps for Dr. Prometheus' lab, the rest of island surrounding the Fortress, and possibly and index of the various characters.
In hte event that they do release the Critical Security Updates, I'd like to see them in color. With entries on some of the characters mentioned in the text (like the various reserve Sentinals).

A) The hero and villain pictures be in colour for future books.. Black and White is fine for HQ's maps etc.. but for the heroes and villains themselves for anything tied to the Supers Genre really it should follow the Four colours theme
B) That a few more no specifically US themed heroes and villains make the rosters... don't get me wrong they're all great, but for those of us who have games set elsewhere than the US suddenly find our available cast of characters cut quite a bit and needing re-theming before they will fit in another locale game. Not a huge deal but a common occurence, you lovable yanks frequently forget the world extends far beyond your shores LOL

Sentiment understood. If and when we can do color and afford to print it, trust me, we most assuredly will.![]()
Hey! Who you calling lovable, pal?!?!?
Heh. We've got lots of stuff set outside the US, but this book centered around the fictional conceit of a US team -- so it was kinda incumbent to have a lot of US stuff. Doesn't mean we forgot about all you "furners."![]()
Hopefully John Bull, The Gryphon, and the rest of The Defenders of the Crown in Fires of War: TAF VII will be of a bit less troublesome a usage for you.

Well The Algernon Files pretty much convinced me I'd purchase pretty much anything you guys release for M&M

Of all the M&M stuff, TAF is second only to Freedom City in quality (and depending on my mood, jumps over it). Overall for all the superhero supplements I have (and I have a ton) Strike Force, Freedom City, San Angelo, Gurps Supertemps (I love that concept) and Algernon files have been the very best (and Omlevex is sort of up there too). Keep up the good work guys.

Dr. Nuncheon wrote:Any chance of a quick rundown of the characters included - maybe just a name and a one-liner? I haven't been able to find TAF around here to look through, and I need to get some idea of how many of the characters will be useful for my game.
