The Raptor I. When a masked criminal killed his partner, and the legal system let the killer walk because he couldn't be accurately identified, police officer Gregory Farrow quit the Hawthorne City Police Force and took matters into his own hands. Suiting up in a homemade costume he became "The Raptor". He used all manner of mechanical gadgets, boomerangs, gas bombs, swing lines and other tools and weapons in his clashes with many different masked super-villains. One such villain known as "The Conjurer" became his arch-enemy and the two fought many times over the years. The Raptor eventually retired in the late 80's. His grandson, Cyrus Farrow, eventually assumed the identity of The Raptor and continues the legacy today.

The Raptor II. Cyrus Farrow is the grandson of Gregory Farrow and the second person over the years to wear the mantle of The Raptor. 15 years after Gregory hung up the costume, Cyrus discovered his grandfather's secret and after talking things over with him began to train under his retired grandfather. Gregory was eventually killed when "The Conjurer"(now an immortal sorcerer) found out his identity after all these years and took revenge on his elderly foe. Now once again, The Raptor, in the form of Cyrus Farrow, stalks the night streets of Hawthorne City in his pursuit of justice and his grandfather's killer.

Cabal the Conjurer. Boris Kelso was always interested in magic. Ever since his father pulled a quarter from his ear as a child, he knew he wanted to be a real magician. He got his hands on "how to" magic books and quickly mastered the art of slight of hand. He eventually became a successful stage magician in Hawthorne City. However, Boris always wanted more. When the traveling "Magic of the Ancients" exhibit came to the Hawthorne City Natural History Museum, Boris saw his chance. Using his skills he broke into the exhibit and stole several artifacts including the fabled "Orb of Anubis". He was almost caught, but managed to get away. Back at his apartment he took the orb from his sack, and upon touching it magical energy surged through him. His brain filled with the knowledge of centuries. He learned that he could summon undead hound-headed soldiers to do his bidding. He dubbed these creatures Anubites. With his new found abilities he set out to do even more daring robberies. Eventually he ran afoul of the Raptor and was arrested. Prison didn't hold him long as his escape artist skills were too clever. Over the years he found that using the "Orb of Anubis" was slowly killing him. During his last fight with the Raptor in the 70's, Cabal the Conjurer fell from a rooftop and died. Upon his death, his soul entered the "Orb of Anubis" and became trapped. Cabal was totally aware and conscious for his entire stay in the orb. Raptor claimed the staff that Cabal had attached the Orb to.

Cabal: The Immortal Sorcerer During his imprisonment in the "Orb of Anubis", Cabal's mind could only think of two things. Escape and Revenge. Decades later, during a botched robbery attempt at Gregory Farrow's estate house, Cabal would get just that. A bungling thief clumsily shattered the "Orb of Anubis" releasing Cabal from his prison. Now an immortal, undead creature, Cabal quickly killed the thief and then killed his Arch-Nemesis, the now elderly, Gregory Farrow. Fleeing from the mansion, Cabal realized he had developed a host of new powers while trapped in his prison. Flight, Magical blasts of black fire from his hands, and many other "spells" were now burned into his brain. He could also still Summon his "Anubites". With these new found powers, he fled into the night, already plotting new schemes. What he did not realize, was that by killing Gregory Farrow, he was paving the way for his new arch-enemy, The Raptor, AKA Cyrus Farrow.
