Creating "Magic Resistence"

How would you go about building a protective effect like say Magic Resistance?

Just Nullify (Magic) - Reaction, Close Range? Would you add Limited (only effects targeting you)?

I'd probably go immunity magic, possibly with the limited to half damage/effect flaw.

Wow, I feel so stupid. I totally spaced Immunity for some reason.

Thank you.

Well, immunity might be overkill depending on what effect you're trying for, since its so absolute.

In our high fantasy, Norse warriors of Valhalla game, we had a berserker priest who used this when he dropped the spells and waded into HTH (alternate power in his magic array):

Nullify Magic 10, One power at a time, reaction, personal.
Playing: Savage Worlds War of the Dead
Running: Savage Worlds Deadlands
Running: M&M Necessary Evil

Unfortunately, Immunity is often cheaper than some Reaction Nullify construct, so it's kind of hard to self-justify for a player with an eye to point-efficiency not to use it.

Depends on how little resistance you need, but I do get your point.

In a one-shot I ran under 2e (converting my Big Eyes, Small Mouth Occult Investigation campaign into Mecha & Manga) I wrote it up as +1 to all four saving throws with the Flaw "Only against Magic", and did not count it against PL limits (because there were any number of things that could hurt you in that game that were not Magic per se).
