No, not that it would be a bad thing... I like JoshuaDunlow's work. :D

I'm sure if we lived anywhere near the same area code, we would be gaming right now.

Me, I'd just go with Barbara Eden. Hot '60s chicks are better than chicks with big ol' veiny implants anyday :).

Brass Dragons- y'know, for some reason, I never really liked them. They just look kinda silly, with their big plate-y heads and fat lips, despite their cool oscillating wings.

All of which can be changed in a individual campaign. The D&D look is just one way to do it. In my campaign, they look completely different.

I have to disagree with Jabroni on the pic, that's a genie I would summon anyday! But Barbara Eden was hotter than Hades, no doubt about it.

I dig the brass dragons, especially the wings. May have to use them in a test, too.

METALLIC DRAGON: BRONZE DRAGON
Bronze dragons are often found along the coastal regions of the world. They like to dwell along the sea, to make use of their aquatic abilities, while staying close to humanoid settlements. Many ship merchants will pay a bronze dragon to protect their trade routes. More nefarious bronze dragons will demand bribes for “protection” while accepting similar bribes from pirates to operate within their territories.

These dragons possess the ability to alter their form, assuming the appearance of any type of animal or humanoid creature they choose. As such, folks can encounter a bronze dragon without ever being the wiser. A friendly dolphin that saves a drowning child; a mercenary sailor eager to fight pirates; a diver specializing in searching undersea shipwrecks for possible treasure… all of these could be a bronze dragon. Many bronze dragons will use their shape-shifting abilities to get close to an enemy target; bronze dragons prefer melee combat.

A bronze dragon possesses two breath weapons. The first is a line of electricity similar to a lightning bolt. The second is a cone of gas with affects the mind to feel a great repulsion to the dragon.

METALLIC DRAGON: COPPER DRAGON

Copper dragons are the most fey-like and whimsical of the dragon breeds. They delight in pranks; most of which are good-natured, but can occasionally stray into the cruel.

These dragons possess a number of powerful magical abilities which allow them to move and control the earth and stone. As such, copper dragons tend to make their homes in mountainous regions, where their powers can do them the most good. This tends to place them close to the territories of red dragons, with whom the copper dragons rarely stand an even change in a fight.

Copper dragons are a glossy copper color in their youth. As they grow older, their scales tend to acquire a green tint. This becomes even more pronounced for those copper dragons that make their homes near oceans.
A copper dragon possesses two different breath weapons. The first is a line of powerful acid. The second is a cone of gas that slows and cramps the muscles of anyone within it. Due to its prankster nature, a copper dragon delights in harrying its opponents; never standing still long enough for an enemy to get a clear attack.

Bronze & Coppers are my favourite of the Metallic Dragons. Much love for them. Two of the heroes in my fictional D&D-ish world use each as a special mount, as the Good dragons of the world aid the heroes against the Dark Dragons.

that just leaves *Burl Ives voice* Silver and Gold. 2 of my favorite metallics.

METALLIC DRAGON: GOLD DRAGON
Gold dragons are the nobility and royalty of the metallic dragonkind. From hatching, they are instilled with a sense of order tempered with a benevolent nature. Some gold dragons, however, see the need to impose order on others from the good of all. This sense of doing things “for the greater good” can lead a gold dragon to become a tyrant. This is a rare instance, however.

True to their name, gold dragons are a brilliant, shimmering gold color. Their head is crested with a ring of majestic horns. Their muzzles will often sprout growths that give the appearance of a mustache or beard. A gold dragon is rarely encountered in its natural form. They possess the ability to change their shape into that of an animal or humanoid creature.

Gold dragons are powerful combatants. They possess two separate breath weapons. The first is a cone of fire. The second is a cone of gas that weakens the strength of anyone within it.

Love the dragons. You've inspired me to make some of my own more generic dragons for my setting (think more Reign of Fire types...underrated movie IMHO). I think you handled their D&D style wonderfully.

METALLIC DRAGON: SILVER DRAGON

Silver dragons are the questing knights of the metallic dragons. Of all the metallic breeds, these dragons are those who stray less from the cause of goodness, justice, and righteousness. Although they normally make their homes in cold regions of the world, these dragons can be found anywhere. They take the time to make distant journeys in search of evil and injustice to fight.

Silver dragons have the ability to assume different forms. They can transform their bodies into an animal or humanoid creature. They will often use a disguise to get close to mortal creatures and learn rumors of possible evil. These humanoid forms tend to be those of attractive knights wearing silver armor.

Like other metallic dragons, a silver dragon possesses two breath weapons. The first is a cone of freezing cold. The second is a cone of paralyzing gas. They will often forsake these powerful weapons in favor of attacking foes in melee.
