God that was funny.

Here's to hoping that there is a version upgrade embedded in the latest Intersect and it wasn't just a case of Deus Ex Machina to solve the problem of the intersect block that his mom imposed.

My wife used to make fun of the show, now shes at least as big a fan as I am. When he couldn't reach the tape i thought she was gonna choke on pizza she was eating. Such a fun show. 8)

It wasn't too bad. Not their strongest episode, but certainly not their weakest either (that honor goes to the ep when Chuck is hanging out with the rockstar, in my opinion).

I'd say it was about average for the show, which is pretty good. A mediocre Jeffster appearance and a big twist at the end that's probably going to drive the rest of the season.

That subplot was pretty awful. I knew how the entire thing would go within a minute of its beginning.

I'm really missing season 1 Chuck. Yes, the "fish out of water" thing was overdone sometimes, but at least they played him as intelligence rather than super-kung-fu man. There was also a sense that the relationship might progress instead of this "two steps forward, two steps back".

Monday's ep would have made a great season finale. Hell, it would have been a great SERIES finale. I dont see the need for any more episodes this season. what are they gonna do now?

Well, it was written when they only had a 13-episode order for this season, so it was designed to both "Wrap things up" and "Leave the door open for the next chapter."

The same thing happened last season when we had the mid-season finale that ended with Chuck and Sarah together in Paris and with Brandon Routh's character "dead."

Personally, I kinda like it. It means that, rather than get a 22-episode season that drags, it's more like getting two of the BBC-style "Seasons" that keep moving and keep the intensity high.

I would suspect that the "Season" finale - which may well be the series finale - will actually have the Chuck/Sarah wedding.

I'd forgotten that it was initially only a 13 episode season. Do we know how many more episodes we get this season?
