Nice reapers another personal fave of mine. Only add on i could see is the gravitmetirc stablizers in their armor. they use them to avoid getting blown off their feet when shooting the reaper launchers. its also the reaosn they dont usualy fleet of foot.

Thanks catsi563 , I did not know that. I only knew they had enhanced strength to carry and handle the recoil of their heavy weapons. I'll implement your suggestion right away. Please feel free to let me know anything else I missed.

This is the smallest Titan in use by the Imperium! Notice the Chaos Dreadnought in the pic for size comparisons. There are other even bigger and badder Titans out there!

It can carry heavy vehicles such as Tanks. It is also the smallest spaceship of any race to be able to travel to other stars albeit somewhat slowly.

Can carry 180 passengers or 90 battlesuits/drones or 4 Vehicles.

Notes: The warrior is the spy of the Arachnid empire. They have the horrific ability to enslave a host.
They are usually used for infiltration. However they have been known to enslave nearly entire planets!
The skinny aliens of their homeworld of Tophet were virtually conquered in a insidious takeover in this way.

The only known way to get rid of one is by killing the host to eject the control bug. Pretty
demoralizing if you ask me especially if they control loved ones.
Also a good excuse to use your own soldiers, vehicles, and mecha against you.

Probably the scariest and most dangerous of all bugs.

Postby HustlerOne » Mon Aug 22, 2011 2:33 pm

Introducing the Arachnids! The Tyranid ripoffs. I was going to do the zerg from starcraft in 2E at first. Unfortunately woodclaw might have beaten me to it with his good starcraft builds. Then I noticed that no one has done the arachnids from starship troopers. :D

The arachnids are like the zerg and tyranids. Using vast numbers to overwhelm their enemies. They use their speed and burrowing ability to get close since most bugs lack a good ranged attack.
They should make a fine replacement for the Tyrannids.

Also I posted up the Giant mecha known as Titans for the WH40k universe.

I always wanted to say this line.

Would You like to know more?

Nice Arachnids, Hustler. I always thought Starship Troopers was an underrated "so bad it's good" movie. And it's a setting ripe for RPG adventuring.

I'm enjoying seeing your take on the Warhammer 40k universe, my only real experience with the setting is through the PC games. I'm currently working my way through Dawn of War 2 having just bought the game and expansions.

I remember the Tau being right at the top of my list of favourite races followed by the space marines.

Just some minor errata. The dark reapers have been edited. It should be correct now.
I added some extra limbs for the brainbug. That brain sucker of his really does count as a limb.

I'll also add some better links to my robotech builds soon.

Same here cbwjm. I loved the PC game Dawn of war 2 Dark Crusade. I think I statted up most of the units for that game.

I might try posting some chaos monsters if I can.
