And Rust Monsters are, as always, the most-feared monster in D&D history.
Based on my personal estimation the continent of Faerun is approximatly 3-4 times the size of the USA and it's the smallest continent in the world of Forgotten Realms.prodigyduck wrote:The world of Forgotten Realms is three or four times the size of Earth, if you have seen the map.Thorpacolypse wrote: I think you have to make your planet about Jupiter size to support all the huge monsters and variety of life in the D&D verse.
FLAMEBROTHER (PL 6)Salamanders are serpentine creatures from the Plane of Fire. They are wicked and cruel, but also well known for their expert craftsmanship for weapons and armor. As such, they are often sought out by devils, efreet, and other evil beings to commission powerful weapons for their armies.
Salamanders love to dwell within fiery places, such as flaming pits or lava pools. They tolerate cooler places, but cannot abide the cold. The heat from a salamander’s body often transfers to any metallic weapons it carries.
SALAMANDER (PL 8]Flamebrothers are the least impressive of the salamanders. They are given menial tasks to perform and generally treated with distain by the more powerful salamanders.
NOBLE SALAMANDER (PL 11)The typical salamander is little more powerful than a flamebrother. However, their scales can shrug off most weapon blows and leave their enemies burned for their effort.
Noble salamanders are powerful taskmasters who treat their people like slaves at the forges. They possess a number of fiery powers that – while useless against their own kind – are deadly against mortal foes.

I like that you made Destroyer usable.
I know some folks love to make their master villains into high PL monsters, but the fact is I don't see the point. In my own games, the average hero tends to be in the PL 8-9 range, while someone on the Justice League being in the PL 10 range. My most powerful heroes (like Superman, Hal Jordan's Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman) are PL 12.catsi563 wrote:just out of curiosity why so low a PL for Doc Destroyer? I see him as pl 15+17 easy able to handle 1 or even 2 super teams at once no problem.
gratz on 500 btw =^_^=
Satyrs, also called fauns, are fey creatures that delight in singing, dancing, feasting, and debauchery. They appear to be men with sylvan features from the waist up and possess goat legs from the waist down.
Satyrs have a reputation for being rakes and smooth-talkers. They have a habit of leaving pregnancies wherever they travel. The children from these unions are spirited away by their fathers soon after birth.
Scorpions are a breed of arachnids known for their poisonous stingers. They are found in a variety of climates, but are most numerous in deserts.
Scorpions are active hunters. They track their prey with their keen senses and then grasp it with their scissor-like pincers. Once in the scorpion’s grasp, the prey is stung repeatedly until it stops moving. It is then consumed by the arachnid, whether or not it is still living.
Scorpions live in underground burrows. As such, giant scorpions are often encountered in underground ruins or crypts.
Giant scorpions are the size of horses. They are perfectly content with attacking whatever prey is smaller than themselves, including humans.
Good looking satyrs that can actually get women. That's different!prodigyduck wrote:![]()
