I really like how you did Oppressive Gloom and Orbiting Death. Did you think about requiring enemies close by for Stygian Circle?

I'm not surprised you stayed away from Dark Extraction, though I'm interested in how you would do it. I'm betting it could add 40-50 points to the build.


Actualy I could throw a power loss flaw on it must drain at least 1 person. that ups it to a rank 10 heal. Thanks Ill do that.

thats one fo the trickier aspects of a warshade, they use the concept of ""Defeated enemies"" as a source of their powers. So you have to work with the GM to define the concept of a defeated enemy.

Dark extraction isnt so tricky its basically a summon that requires you to drain an enemy. the summoned minion is for all intents a mini-nova that follows you around and blasts any badguys you come across. the tricky part for me was defining how limited the intelligence of the essense was. its probably varely smarter then a dog or cat and has enough isntinct to know that the warshade is not a target nor the warshades friends so it instinctivley follows the Warsahdes intent so its obviously a fanatical minion and it cant be mind controlled, it also lasts a minimal time so that ahs to be defined as well. And lastly you ahve tod efine how many you can have at one time. In game a warshade with hasten and enough recharge at the current settings could have up to 3 essenses so youll need at least 1 rank of progression.

Id probably do it at something like this.

Yeah that looks like it could work. One thing I missed before: you need to add the ranged extra to Slow and I think Stun in order to link them to Blast.

Oh and for the Photon Seekers, you could add Triggered so it stays around you and goes off when an enemy comes near.

Snezhinka; Kiska Tiomkin

Background
Kiska Tiomkin is the only daughter of Dimitri Tiomkin (aka Goriy). She has proven to have superhuman powers as well. Her abilities take after her grandfather's (cold control) as well as her father's (Superhuman Strength and toughness).

Powers
With command over Ice and Cold. Her strength and brawling skills are a nasty surprise to those who think getting the Snowflake in their clutches gives them a victory. She is also the team's most divergantly trained warrior.

Appearance
A tall russian beauty with platinum blonde hair and clear "ice blue" eyes. She wears a white body suit with dark blue accessories (belt, gloves, boots, face mask) and over this she wears a light blue jacket with a fur lined neck. On the back of her jacket and on the top of her gloves and shins of her boots are white snowflake designs (unlike real snowflakes, these designs are identical). Kiska has a sturdy, yet curvaceous figure and when not acting as a heroine wears modern western fashions.

I went with a slightly different take on her powers inspired by the City of Heroes Ice Armor, Ice Melee Tanker.The powers are based on a layered system of defences with each progressive layer adding additonal layers of defence as she stacks them on.

Basicaly she layers her ice armor (Physical toughness) then her glacial coating (Better defence) then her wet ice (mental protections), then she layers on Icicles which adds sharp points and edges to the ice ((And if you dont think ice can be sharp go goggle what Sank the titanic)). Following that she can activate her chilling embrace which is a layer of freezing air so intensely cold that it freezes anything it comes into contact with.

The icicles and combined layers give her physcial support which gives her amazing levels of strength. it also enables her to channel the extreme cold temperatures into other effects such as her ice slick and Frozen touch which can freeze an enemy in one touch.

This is also why I gave her fast grab she can swat someone hard, then grab them and freeze them in one shot.

Laslty the obligatory ice slide which gives her some abilitiy to move and egt the highground.

While shes not as physicaly tough as most tanks would be, she does have slightly better defences as attacks either deflect or refract off the ice in various ways. Combined with the freezeing nature of her attacks this should make her a dangerous opponent.

And as always she can improve and/or add new abilities as she trains and gets more experienced (IE adds experience points.)

Edited to fix a couple minor errors. She should eb within pl and correct cost.

to clarify her strength (frozen fists) is a seperate effect from her ice armor. She cdoes not have to be ""iced up"" to make use of it, it just makes her tougher in a fight whe she does. think of ti as a light sheen of frost that you see on grass or your windshield covering her body when she uses her strength

Another version of Aerlwyns character Snowflake this time done in 2nd Edition and at a PL 10 took a little tweaking but I managed to pull her off and make her work.

She has all the same powers, and remains a formidiable hand to hand comnbatant. Shes nasty to be in close with due to her chilling embrace which slows anyone that attacks her, and anyone she attacks conversely. Not to mention that anyone she hits is going to be hurting, with a potential crit shance of 16-20 shes almost guranteed to deck someone for +15 base damage and thats without Power Attacking.

Her ice armor needs a little explanantion. It is base don the principle fo layering. each layer of ice provides a different benefit. Frost armor (protection), glacial Armor provides defence, Wet ice provides a refractione ffect that diffuses mental attacks and telepathy, while icicles hardens the ice and makes her punches and strikes nasty (it wasnt a torpedo that sunk the titanic),

She must activate each power in turn so her player must state that shes using all her shields, free actions yes but worth it for the protection they provide.

Relationship: Johanna Watson. Holmes has a unique and long term relationship with his Friend, Partner, Soulmate, Secret Crush, and constant companion Johanna Watson, She seems oblivious to his feelings but after a fashion does return them in her own Tsundere way.

Responsibility: Robert Doyle, Robert has been like a surrogate father to Holmes for most of his life and is quite fond of the old chap and aware of his past. Anyone threatening Robert will earn Holmes not inconsiderable wrath.

Responsibility: Holmes has a personaly desire to right wrongs and deliver the appropriate Justice--Not Law-- to criminals that he has proven guilty.

Responsibility: The Baker Street Irregulars, Holmes has put together a loose network of regular informants, and snitches. A motley crew of street people, students, ham radio enthusiasts etc that pass on information. IF one of them were in trouble Holmes would most certianly rush to help.

Obsession: Truth and Fact; Holmes is a highly anayltical and very Skeptical person. He wills earch for the truth and facts in a case and will tend to dismiss so called superstitions and other such phenomena as drivel or easilly explianable by science. He is definately the Skully to Watsons Mulder.

Reputation: Worlds greatest detective; Batman *snort scoff* Holmes is widely considered the worlds premier detective almost from Childhood and thus is in high demand around the world for his skills.

Enemy: Professor James Moriarty, even some 2 hundred years after his famous ancestor and the original league defeated him, Holmes is bedeviled by his infamous Archnemesis.

Robert Doyle is a former British SAS Ranger and MI6 special agent who has been in service to the Holmes family for decades now. A young shakespearean actor Young Robert played a sold out show for the queen before the war came calling. Joining immediatly He quickly distinguished himself and several excusions later was awarded The Victoria Cross for valor above and beyond the call of duty.

THe fires of adventure could not be so easuily extinguished in the young soldier and he was recruited into MI6 shortly after where he foiled several plots be enemy agents and met a young detective named Sherlock Holmes the third ((Arthurs Grand Father)) After Holmes saved his Life Robert swore to serve him and his family for the rest of his life. He has been an irreplacable and invaluable memebr of the Holmes family since then.

Now he does everything in his not inconsiderable ability to protect and support young Arthur in his endeavors, offering Sage advice and wisdom from his experiences of war and adventure on 4 cotinents.

:arrow: At a still spry 70 years of age he is in fantastic shape and more then capable of holding his own in a fight. He is an a ccomplished solider and spy and actor and a gourmet chef with more then 50 years experience.

Arthur Sherlock Holmes the Fourth The Worlds Greatest Detective

the title isnt for show Holmes is indeed not only exactly who he claims to be; fourth descendant in the Holmes line direct child of Holmes and Irene Adler, but is literaly the worlds greatest detective. A child prodgiy who as early as the tender age of 6 was solving advanced Crosswords and puzzles, Holmes advanced quickly through schools of all sorts devouring knowledge at a prodigous rate. Quickly outpacing his fellow students he had his first phd in forensic psychology at 12, and was working on the thesis for his next 2. During this Time as a child Holmes only real friend was a young lady and tomboy name Johanna Watson. a fearsome competitor and very physical indivuidual wayson fascinated Holmes and seemed the only oen capable of stumping his usualy keen analytical mind. However he lost track of her when she joined the army and went to college again. He would not see her again for several years until he turned 22.

Holmes most promient history though involves a case eerily similar to his famous Great Great Great Grandfathers first case A study in Scarlet. While living on his own in a welll funrished Home on Ironically enough 221B baker Street USA Holmes house keeper recomended a young lady as both roomate and companion/bodyguard. Initially sceptical Holmes decided on a lark really to meet the person. He was shocked when walking through the door was one Johanna Watson. After some initially comical misunderstandings the two renewed their friendship and though both denied it their childhood crush on each other.

A childhood friend of watsons father a retired marine sergeant needed aid in finding the murderer of a war buddy. Inviting watson along the pair investigated and quickly deduced that the murder had killed the man for revenge for an imagined betrayal. Further investigation revealed the wife of the old friend had been carrying on an affair for some time with the deceased, when confronted she broke down but was murdered by a sniper. Watson saved Holmes life by pushing him down and chasing the murderer. After some more investigation holmes quickly tracked the sniper down only to find him allready dead a victim of poisoning and the murder weapon of the prior victim in the residence.

While discussing the case Holmes called for a cab and promptly arrested the driver before revealing the mans identity as the husbands of the second victim outraged by the wife of the old friends breaking things off with him. The Sniper as it turned out was a patsy and the brother of the second victim who had confronted the murderer and demanded and end to the affair.

Their partnership thus cemented Holmes and Watson began a storied career as a dynamic pair solving crimes at home and abroad.

:arrow: Holmes is definately the Brains of the Pair. He has maxed ranks in every investigative skill available and the ability to use them without tools or investigative kits. from the top fo the world to the barrios of rio, to the mansiosn of the rich to the poorest neiborhoods he can solve any case.

:arrow: His Holmsian deducton deserves a bit of mention. what it basically entails is that he enters a crime scene, takes several moments to look around or at a person or area. Then through simple logical deduction he puts together a nearly picture perfect account of what happened. He can literaly pull the Who, What, Where, When, Why and How of a crime from literaly just studying the scene ((Take that you Bat eared pretender HAHA ))

:arrow: Brains he may be but he is no slouch at defending himself either. He is well schooled in basic Akido, juijutsu, and has some minimal boxing and self defence training. He is also a trained marksman and cpaable of utilizing both a baton, and other Self Defence weapons.

:arrow: This Holmes is inspired by a sort of Anime aesthetic. Hes an idea I had for a potential Shonen anime designed series where he would be the center of the series. Basicaly Holmes solves cases with Watson at his side as love interest and partner.

:arrow: Im including watson below because quite frankly Holmes just wouldnt be Holmes without Watson. she is a full on character no mere sidekick though and more then capable of handling herself.

Relationship: Holmes; Johanna (Jon to her friends) has a unique and long term relationship with her Friend, Partner, Soulmate, Secret Crush, and constant companion Arthur Sherlock Holmes, She is somewhat oblivious to his feelings but after a fashion does return them in her own Tsundere way, this can include decking him when he ignores, agitates or otherside gets on her bad side.

Responsibility: Robert Doyle, in the short time since she has come to live in Baker Street, Johanna has come to love the old chap like a surrogate father. Anyone who harms him will have to deal with a very dangerous and angry young woman.

Temper: As legendary as any Tsundere out side of a Pink haired ninja that causes earthquakes, Jon is not someone you want to piss off. Being a macho pig, or treating her as "just a little girl" is a surefire way to do that and end up in the hospital.

Responsibility: Watson has a deep respect for Holmes and does everything in her not inconsiderable arsenal to help him on a case, combined with her somewhat overprotective attitude towards holmes this can and does often get her into trouble.

True Believer: much to Holmes dismay and frequent horror, Watson is a defacto believer in the supernateral, spirits, and all sorts of cryptozoological things. she frequently argues with Holmes over this and is the Mulder to his Skully.

Enemy: Professor James Moriarty, Watson has never forgiven Moriarty for nearly killing Holmes on one case, and has vowed to turn him in for justice or enact it herself. on the archvillain. Further more Watson holds Moriarty personaly responsible for the deaths of her squad mates during her last disasterous mission. Only Holmes calming presense keeps her grounded and from running off to extract her vengance.

Johanna "Jon" Watson is a vital and lovely young woman and is the long term partner of the worlds greatest detecitve Sherlock Holmes. Much like her partner she is a direct descendant of the original Doctor John Watson, partner of the famous Detective. The fact that her current partner lives at 221b baker street is not lost upon her and she comments regularly on fate and destiny bringing them together.

Holmes of course scoffs at the notion and marks it up to simple coincedence. But Jon is concinved and puts her all into the partnership.

Jon has an interesting past to say the least. her parents were killed in an auto accident when she was barely 6. Usualy outgoing and friendly she started to withdraw from the world in ther wake of their deaths. Thatw as until she saw a young frail looking boy being bullied by 3 older boys. Something about the young boy caught her eye and within moments she was beating up the three older boys and sending them home to their parents.

The young boy introduced himself as Arthur Sherlock Holmes and thus was a beautiful and sometimes crazy friendship struck. The friendship served to get her out of the worst of her grief and helped to liven--and lighten--up Holmes academically sheltered world. Watson made a promise that she would always protect him and he made the same promise.

Together the childhood friends were caught up in many a merry adventure, solving cases, catching crooks, and making a general nuisance of themselves. Things might have continued but Jon was forced to defend herself on one occasion during a case and was arrested, She was given a choice serve in the army or serve in prison. She chose the Army.

In the military Jon served with distinction the 18 year old rapidly flew through miltary service even becoming one of the first female Airborne Rangers, and earning a spot ont he Armies vaunted Delta Force. It was during a mission in some backwater that her life was changed again. A supposed warlord was holding a US diplomatci team hostage and her team was sent in to rescue them. However it turned out to be a traps et by the warlords advisor one James Moriarty. The arch terrorist had allready murdered the entire diplomatic team and arrainegd an ambush for the delta squad, while they put up quite a fight sheer numbers allowed the forces against them to over whelm the 5 and 1 woman team. Jon was the only one who survived and was able to escape, though she was successful in returning to retrieve the bodies of her teamates and the diplomats singlehandedly she wasnt the same after that incedent.

Filled with guilt and rage she returned stateside and might have fallen to drinking and general bad behavior had she not answered an ad for a live in roomate and companion for a local celebrity. needing money and not really caring about anything Jon answered the ad, and destiny as was its wont brought her back to the home of her childhood friend--and though shed deny it vigorously--crush. Reunited with Homes Watosn found new purpose and a new family to protect, she vowed that no one would harm Holmes thus renweing the primise she had made him years ago.

Now the two invesitagte cases and brong down badguys together all over the world and always she keeps an eye out to protect holmes anddeal out justice to anyone who deserves it.

:arrow: Johanna "Jon" Watson is obviously designed to compliment Holmes and be his opposite in many ways. She is designed to eb the brawn to Holmes Brains. and as stated above the Mulder to his Skully.

:arrow: Shes designed a bit like the Troubleshooter archetype from Mecha and Manga and is a few points more then Holmes. phsyically she is a wicked nasty comabatant either with her hands or a gun. Dont let her get her hands on a knife either if you can help it.

:arrow: while she is a physical fighter dont let that make you think she is lacking in intelligence or skills, she is a highly educated and trained individual fully capable of multiple actions and skills. She could easilly pass the introductory test for quantico and has undergone training with the FBIs counter terrorist and investigative units at Holmes request and come out all the stronger for it. The FBI is attempting to recruit her as has the CIA but she has turned down both as it would take her away from Holmes who she has vowed never to be separated from again.

:arrow: As with Holmes this is a modern somewhat Shonen Inspired Anime take on Watson, the beautiful Tsundere girl and love interest who seems like she doesnt like the main character but in reality does respect and like him and eventualy falls for him.

Love interest she may be though she is no Damsel in Distress she is a full on combat character well capable of handling herself in a fight.

ive had that idea in mind for awhile now, a shonen anime inspired Holmes and Watson, with a touch of the recent movie thrown in for good measure, a modern take on a classic.

Also the mental picture of Sherlock explaining to Watson the particulars of a crime, and her letting him know that if he says its elementary my Dear Watson shell knock his block off was just too much fun to pass up LOL.

Mutant: Ginger is a mutant and shows up as such on Mutant scanners and the like, She Also has a pair of Fuzzy Panda ears on the upper side instead of normal human ears.

Guilt: Ginger Still feels some guilt for the death of Alberta the woman form the orphanage, she knows it wasnt her fault but it still sometimes haunts her. She also feels some guilt for the death of mongoose who in his own way did love her genuinely.

Enemy: Shadow, Shadow hasnt forgtten or forgiven her for her desertion nor her attacks on their operations. They seek ways to destroy or bring her back into the fold.

Socially Awkard: Having spent your formative years learning to be a meta-human assassin and not having a real childhood can make for some itneresting social dynamics, Panda has made a few friends amongst the Next Gen but those are few and far between.

Ginger Bosworth is an exmaple of how circumstances could make one a monster. Born with small back fuzzy panda ears on her head, some parents might have found them cute if unusal. But Gingers parents were terrified and being die hard conservatives disowned their ""Freak Daughter abomiantion of god!". Raised in an Orphanage Life for little Ginger was even worse. The children were cruel, and though the staff did their best Ginger became reclusive and withdrawn. Things continued like this even as Ginger discovered that she was stronger and faster and Infintely more agile then the other children, she also did not fear the dark like they did, it seemed to sing and whisper to her. The shadows comforted her and she took to hiding in them when the other kids would come around.

As it happened one day, she was playing outside after Sister Alberta who was the kindest and most caring of the staff to her managed to convince her to come outside and play. Stepping away for a moment to buy Ginger an ice cream cone as a reward Alberta didnt see some of the other children approach Ginger and begin to taunt her unmercifully calling her a freak and worse. Finally one of the girls turned physical and threw a rock at Ginger striking her in the head. when Ginger saw the blood and saw the children reach for her she screamed and lashed out with a wave of energy that struck down her tormentors and healed her wounds.

Seeinga shocked Alberta standing there, Ginger was terrified at what shed done and fled with an amazing leap that carried her clear of the courtyard and over a building. For 3 days a terrified Ginger hid in an abandonded building before she was grabbed by agents of Shadow. The agents told her that the police were looking for her as a murderer (A lie), and she could never return. But they would take care of her, they would teach her to become the one to be feared, and to get back at those who tormented her and abandoned her. Having no other choice and seemingly no where to go Ginger agreed.

The agents trained her to be an Assassin and infiltrator, learning how to spy and the martial arts, and she excelled at the lessons learning quickly the extent of her powers. She was fast, Agile, and could wrap a dark energy around her that protected her, and hid her, she could channel energy into blasts of darkness, and terrify someone with a horrific gaze, which she used when one of the agents tried unsuccessful to have his way with her.

During her training Ginger became romantically involved with a fellow trainee, code named mongoose. The fast moving clawed fighter had an energy she enjoyed and the two became friends. However things were not as they seemed secretly Mongoose was pushing her to become more like him more dangerous and vicious.

Finally she was deemed ready and sent to Assassinate her first target. Foreshadow seemingly never saw her coming and she quickly had him on the ropes only for Him to suddenly turn the tables on her. When He finally managed to subdue her he epxlained that he knew she was coming and was willing to help her. Then he did something she could never have seen coming. He brought in Alberta, the lady from the orphanage. Though she hadnt seen her in several years Panda as she was now known recognized her immediately. The emotional and touching reunion sparked something in Panda and she quickly broke down At this time Monhoose who has been watching intervened and killed Alberta before Foreshadow could act. Panda was enraged and attacked Mongoose with an unmatched fury. Though they were evenly matched and she was wounded Panda quickly gained the upper hand. Mongoose tried while she was fighting him to convince her that no one but him could understand her, but she refused to listen and finally she landed a fatal blow when mongoose tried to stab her when her back was turned.

Grief striken at what shed done and what shed become Panda begged foreshadow for help, she was confused scared and now had no where to go because shed failed her assignment and killed a fellow agent.

Foreshadow quickly helped her rally her spirits and after a brief time training with her to help her regain her self confidence which had been badly shaken by the incedent She took to the streets with a new leash on life, and the goal of fighting for those who couldnt fight for themselves. She also takes a great deal of pleasure in disrupting and destroying the plans of Shadow whereever she can.

Personality: Ginger is a conflcited and sometimes angry young woman who hides a deep hhurt behidn a smart alec and daredevil persona. She doesnt have a deathwish or an adenaline addiction or anything but she pretends like she does to throw people off. It takes a rare and persistent person to see past that shell and to the young hurt girl within. Ginger is a bit shy and awkward around strangers, but oddly enough this manifests itself in a loud and vivacious personality instead of withdrawing she trys too hard to make friends. Her social skills are a bit lacking given that her formative years were spent training as a metahuman assassin.

Powers and Tactics: Ginger is a mutant with a possible connection to the Shattenwaldt. She can channel a Shadow/Negative energy in a number of fashions. She can wrap it around her self like a protective cloak that makes her hard to see and hit and blunts the worst of an attack, Or she can project a field of shadow that renders her all but invisible, Attacking cancels this effect but if she doesnt she can go unseen by even the sharpest eyes.

She can also project her Shadow energy in several ways, she can drain a small bit of life from someone and release that energy in an burst of healing darkness flows from her in a wave, or she can project a blast of cold dark energy, or project it in a vicious strike that drains energy from her target and heals her, she can even channel ehr energy in a fashion she calls her Shadow Maul, a rapid fire series of strikes that overhwlems an opponent. She can also project her gaze on someone and paralyze them with their greatest fear. She can also channel the shadow energy in an unknown fashion through her legs, by doing this she gains the ability to leap tremendous distances and land with no problems, used in conjunction with her superhuman agility she can turn herself into an increidbly difficult target to hit.

Panda has been trained to be an Assassin and infiltrator by Shadow, she is a skileld hand to hand fighter and has a number of skills that help her with infiltration and espionage. She is a beyond Olympic level gymnast with an amazing sense of balance and lamost no vertigo or sway, she can literaly walk on eggshells or rice paper or a squeaky wooden floor and not make a sound.

Appearance: A beautiful young woman about 22 years of age with long mid back length aburn red hair, and soft blue eyes that seem to glow in the dark. Panda is tall and lean with a gymnastic dancers build. She is stronger then she looks, and often surprises people. She moves with a lithe grace and seems to not make a sound when she walks. The only part of her appearance that some people may find uncomfotrtable are the two round black fuzzy panda ears on her head in place of normal human ears. The ears are real and functional, and while shes not as self concious about them as she once was, she will take to wearing a Newsboy cap to disguise them.

:arrow: A submisison for TMs street level FC campaign. Panda was a bear --hehe pun-- to fit into 130pp and retain her flavor at pl 8. Stilll I did it and think shes solid. Shes abit of a glass cannon but shoudl be agile enough to avoid most problems.

:arrow: Future experience will go to toughening her up a little fortitud wise, and rounding out her skills and feats, as well as expanding the amount of powers she can do, new tricks like tar patch, Tenebrous tentacles, and midnight grasp among others.

:arrow: Panda is my lvl 50 Dark Dark Dark Defender in City of Heroes and one fo my all time faves to play. I may at some future date make her closer to her game form in PL and points.

Vengeful: When Angel chooses a target shell take him down usualy within the law, but a few nasty types can get under skin and if they do god help them shell put them in the hospital for a while first.

Secret identity: No one knows Stacey Hunter and Dark Angel are the same person and she works hard to keep it that way.

Background & History

Stacy Hunter is a modern American success story. Learning early in life that hard work was the key to success. Stacy a classic overacheiver allready, came from humble beginnings. To rise to the top of the Advertising, and Marketing world. Graduating From college through sheer hard work, and pluck. She became the first person in her family of blue collar workers, and house wives to even attend college much less graduate. Graduating with top grades, this helped her land a job at one of the top marketing firms in the USA.

Stacy liked living the big city life. She attended parties, and get togethers. Hobnobbing with stars and celebrities, she was an instant hit with everyone due to her down to earth attitude and model good looks. Except for a touch of glamour shock she managed to avoid any of the excess or pitfalls associated with the life though, and generally got along well. Unfortunatley she became careless one night. Forgetting that the glitz and glam can conceal a dark underbelly. While driving home late one night from an upscale soiree. Her car broke down and she was stranded in a nasty section of the city. Their she was attacked by a gang of youths out "wilding away the night". After beating her harshly and stealing her valuables they were about to progress to worse crimes when the lights of a passing car scared them off.

For some reason the car stopped, and the good samaritan (who's name she has never found out), picked her up and carried her to the hospital before calling the police for her. She spent a few days recovering - her injuries were less severe then they could have been- However her mental state and fear could not be cured so easilly. Once a strong confidant woman, she was now shy, fearful, and prone to panic attacks. A shadow of her former exuberant self. Even though weeks passed and she returned to work, still the fear stayed with her.

Eager to put the past behind her, she volunteered for a trip to Japan to woo a star client. Though her boss was Initially sceptical. Stacy insisted that she was well and ready, and her boss relented finally and allowed her to take the lead. Though scared to leave the security of home, Once there Stacy's old self confidance began to reassert itself and she was successful in landing the client. As a reward the client offered her a couple of weeks stay as a guest at a local resort which she eagerly accepted.

While exploring one day she came across a group of hooligans harrassing a frail old man. Intially terrified, she wanted to run away. But summoning up her courage at the last minute she yelled at the thugs to "Leave him alone!!" Thinking she was easy pickings the thugs turned on her and would have made short work of her except for one thing. The old man suddenly went from a frail and stooped figure into a powerful whirlwind of Martial arts moves. Within seconds the thugs were in various needs of medical help and the old man was bowing and thanking a shocked Stacy for her timely rescue.

Taking a bold step for her. She asked in halting Japanese if he could teach her what he knew to defend herself. looking deep into her eyes and seemingly into her very soul, he agreed. And thus began an intensive 4 weeks of training and hard work the likes of which made her cheerleading days in highschool and college seem like childs play.

Yet she faithfully practiced and worked hard everyday. By the time she was ready to return home. The old man gave her the name of his Sister in the states who was in his words "Even better then he was." Thanking him she returned home. And began training with the her new Sensei.

Merely a few days after acheiving her Black belt. Stacey witnessed a mugging in progress of one of her co-workers, by a couple of young hooligans. In the same position as the samaritan that once helped her, Stacey reacted in an instant. Four quick blows later it was over and the woman saved and thanking her profuseley. Leaving the thugs where they lay, Stacey practically walking on air took the woman to be examined at the emergency room.

She was exilerated. Never had she felt such a strength of purpose and righteousness. She rededicated her life that day to helping the needy and helpless, the ones searching for justice. Martial arts would not be enough though. She needed a style, and a lot of skills. Studying other costumed vigilantes, she discarded some as too violent, before deciding that if devils were going to walk the streets, She would become an avenging angel, a protector of the innocent A Dark Angel. She set about learning everything she could, Investigation, clues, forensics, stealth, street wisdom, Locks and security systems. Months of training followed. her extensive contacts made it easy for her. Then finally she called in a favor from a lawyer friend and found an underworld Arms dealer who designed a costume, and themed weapons for any client no questions asked. When she was ready She began with hunting down the thugs that had attacked her originally. Putting them in jail was very self satisfying and finished her long self healing. Now she stalks the city at night A Dark Angel of justice.

Personality and motivation

Stacey is the kind of person who's had to work long, and hard to get what she wanted. She's strong willed, determined, and capable of working hard to achieve her goals. Now she applies that tenacity to crime fighting with equal vigor. She's decided that she will help, and protect everyone that she can. And if she cant help them. She'll avenge them. Even if it takes months. She's patient almost stubborn in that regard. She's not a killer Seeing vigilante murder as making the killer worse then the crooks. However she might be sorely tempted by child molestors, rapists, white slavers, and violent serial killers. Also she's not above killing but only in the strictest self defence.

The only time she really pushes the envelope of violence is when a criminal escapes or is especially wanton in his crimes. then the gloves come off, and said crook ends up usually with a long hospital stay. Shes got a temper that she trys to control but a lot of bottled up anger still resides in her from her attack. So it may take time and experience to calm her down some.

Powers and Tactics

A highly trained and physically adept normal human. Dark Angel has educated herself and worked hard to become an highly competent detective and fighter. Her fighting style tends to be very direct and straight forward. A lot of movement and hard hitting. She also has a large and versatile selction of equipment and weapons to help her out in a jam.

Her favorites include her theme attacks. Halo grenades (bolo like snares that trap a target in golden bands); the Halo Boomerang (A steel and depleted uranium throwing ring) ((if you've ever watched xena youll see the stunts she can pull with it)); her Angel Sword blades (sword shaped shuriken); and her Angel wings (Assorted grenades shaped like small wings with a golden ring that she twists to arm them).

Her headquarters "Heaven" was a gift from a mysterious benefactor who told her that he/she had been impressed with her dedication and hard work. She has never met this person and is still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Heaven is equipped with all sorts of crime fighting gear, as well as a large stock of weapons and equipment. Including the gift of Ophanim a motorcycle and a sports car with a few tricks in them.

Appearance

Stacey is a Gorgeous, fit, athletic young woman standing 5'9" tall. She has Long Auburn hair, and striking green eyes. A friendly expressive face, and bright warm smile greets everyone who meets her.

As Dark Angel She wears a Dark Black bodysuit, with Dark Navy Blue gloves, boots, and utility belt. A golden Halo chest symbol is the only color on the suit. Her cape is all black. her mask is a half cowl that leaves her hair exposed but she wears a specially designed wig of long blond hair to disguise herself herself. Her wig and mask are bonded to her head with a molecular bonding agent similar to the questions and removed in the same fashion. Another gift from her mysterious benefactor.

Campaign uses

Dark Angel is a prototype vigilante or costumed adventurer, Suitable in most campaigns. She is highly versatile and can fit in with just about any style of campaign as needed. Shes most likely to keep to the streets and focus on gangs, the mob, and a few low powered street costumed types (( She'd be a great member of the Birds of Prey. Right up Barbaras alley and the ladies would all get along swimmingly)).

Bedros Taurus is as nice and genial a fellow as you'd ever want to know, even if he is a near 7 plus foot Minotaur. Bedros you see is the son of Minos Taurus the mino taur of greek myth and the foudner and undisputed leader of the foundry. Bedros is the end result of both a planend experiment and a casual daliance.

Seeking a weapon against his ancient foe Dadeleus, The Minotaur used a ritual to assume human shape and impreganted a woman with which he seduced. While she was sleeping he used an artifact connected with the elemental plane of earth to insure that the child would be conencted to that plane and gain all its powers.

He was proven correct when 12 months later after an extended and exhaustive pregnancy that lasted nearly a week. Eileen gave birth to a child. The doctors were horrified, but Eileen who was blind from Birth demanded her child and as she cooed softly to the squalling infant a bond was formed that the Minotaur never could have considered.

Young Bedros tried his best to be normal but it was difficult for him due to his monstorus appearance friends were few and far between, and ridicule always around the corner. The only thing that saved him really was that his tremendous strength meant that few would risk his wrath. As Eileen and Bedros would discover he not only possessed enormous strength andf durability but he was able to control the movement of the earth in varying ways. Eileen taught him to sculpt stone as a way to fit in and he took to it like a born artist.

Somehow surprisingly for being a single mother with a teachers salary and a son who ate enormous amounts of food as well as was larger and heavier then a normal child the family found that gifts seemed to be delivered as needed in the form of furniture designed to support Bedors frame, or extra food, or toys, or bills being mysteriously paid. The one constant was that there benefactor signed all the cards that came with the gifts with a simple Z.

The watershed moment in Bedros life came when Taurus came for his son to check on his experiment. what he found did not please him and he resolved to beat some sense into his child. this turned out to have the opposite effect as not only did young bedros prove to be far more durable then daddy expected, he also had a gift for fighting and used it. Daddy suffered a stunning defeat and after he threatened Eileen a horrendous near fatal beating ((note he has never threatend Eileen again and ordered his agents to leave her ALONE)).

Bedros though was not to be so easilly disuaded it seemed, he set out to insure that the Labrynth paid for its presumptions and wrecked one of their most important operations with an earthquake, and sunk another into the ground.

Bedros might have continued in this fashion had Dadeleus and the Freedom league not intervened. hearing his tale they offered him what help they could and Bedros was calmed down enough to scale back his activites before an all out war could begin betwen him and theLabrynth.

Now he does what he can when possible to battle threats both magical and normal. The Media has dubbed him Terra-Bull aname he finds frankly insulting but his mother laughs at it and teases him lightly, so he swallows his pride and just goes with it. One day though he plans to find the guy who dubbed him that and really give him an earful.

:arrow: Personality: Like his namesake element Bedros is a faily laidback and friendly fellow, quiet, somewhat brooding but open and friendly when socializing. He can be a bit slow to act always taking time to think things through, and never just spontaneously leaping. That said when he decided to act it is total and non-negotiable. He can be Incredibly stubborn and ((pun)) Bull-headed about things. getitng him to change his mind is nigh impossble, and gods forbid he ever lose his temper the results would be destrucive as any earthquake.

His most precious person is his human mother whom he is utterly devoted to, he sees her as stonger then himself given that she is blind and went through near literal hell to give birth to him and raise him when she could have abandoned him.

:arrow: Powers and tactics: Terra-Bull is about as subtle as an Avalanche and about as brutal. He is possessed fo ENORMOUS strength and Durability and Stamina, which combined with his ability to move large quantities of earth makes hima formidable combatant. His most formidable ability is his Grantie Armored form. when he changes into that form he becomes slow and easy to hit but in that form he becomes Nigh Invulnerable and one of the strongest beings on the planet. He also has a deep connection to the earth and as long as he has natural ground or stone or dirt or sand he can channel energy from it to heal himself from nearly any injury. he has even come back from the dead once. During this time he had a meeting with his grandfather Zeus. No one knows what they spoke about but Bedros returned more Determined then ever to protect.

:arrow: A submission for a FC magic game and an intellectual execise to see if I could fitn him into 8/120pp, his actual PL would be closer to 10/150pp. I may do a verision later that does jsut that.

Watched: Olympus; The Gods of Olympus have a vested interest in all of there offspring Bedros as a direct descandant of Zeus himself no less then any.

Watched: MInos Taurus; Bedros's Father is the leader of the Labrynth and keeps an active eye on his wayward child, seeking to bring him back into the fold as a powerful weapon.

Man Bull: Bedros Taurus is a near 7 plus foot 700 pound man bull hybrid with long horns, a bull like tail, Grey Fur, Hooved feet, Diogitrade legs, and a massive muscular phsyique, he is clearly non-human.

Slow and Deliberate and Stubborn: Like his elemental namesake Terra-Bull is slow to anger, and steady and plodding, also he is a VERY stubborn individual once hes made up his mind youll have as much chance of changing it as moving the rock of Gibraltar

Temper: That said once roused to action or his temper is triggered he becomes the equivalent of an avalanche or a mudslide inexorable and highly destructive.

Responsibility: Protect the Weak and Innocent; Bedros does his best to look after those weaker then him and softer then him ((which is just about everybody)) He will put himself in harms way to protect the innocent and weak.

Responsibility: Eileen Kirakos [Mother]; Bedros mother Eileen is a blind art teacher at a local university. She taught her son to sculpt and draw and loves him very much, he in turn is deeply devoted to her and would LITERALY move mountains for her. Any one who harms her would face a literaly enraged force of nature that would not stop ever until they were destroyed.
