Rhinotaur Super-Powered by M&M

Postby Rhinotaur » Thu Nov 10, 2011 8:07 pm

Hey, Gang --

Going to go ahead and use this topic as the "so-called official" thread for all things Super-Powered by M&M related Rhinotaur stuff. To get things rolling, let me entice you with the following...

Image
Psi Files: Grey Ops is the first in a planned series that documents the information collected by the Paranormal Security and Investigation (PSI) unit of the FBI. The Grey Ops file details the four alien survivors of the Roswell crash of 1947 that now investigate paranormal cases for the U.S. government.

GeekPunks features a clique of outcast high school students brought together by a common factor–they each posses unique powers. Together they learn that their exclusivity may very well be destined to serve a much greater cause.

Both of these projects/products are not Hero Happy Hour related, though there are more Super Shots in the works. Cheers!

Please be sure visit Rhinotaur.com for more information. Thanks.

Announcing the fourth round of Hero Happy Hour: Super Shots for the Mutants & Masterminds 3rd Edition rule system!

Hero Happy Hour: Super Shot # 4 - Krimson Klaw features a super villlain who may not be Frist City’s most threatening criminal, but definitely its most annoying. When he’s not being brought to justice by the super heroes that frequent the Hideout Bar & Grill he is usually the topic of discussion as the heroes try to pawn him off on one another as their new arch-nemesis during Hero Happy Hour. Each Hero Happy Hour: Super Shot focuses on an individual super hero or super villain from the fan-favorite comic book and webcomic, Hero Happy Hour – which showcases familiar super hero archetypes in a unique and humorous fashion. Besides a character write-up specifically “super powered for M&M”, every Hero Happy Hour: Super Shot also features a detailed origin, an explanation of powers and skills, their relationship to the Hideout Bar & Grill, and an Adventure Shot. Available at DriveThruRPG.com and RPGNow.com.

Thanks for asking.

Grey Ops is real close. Just need to tighten up a few things layout wise. I think I tried to over think it. Hopefully next week.

GeekPunks is a little further out as it'll also include a short comic portion to help introduce the characters. Been busy working on the new Hero Happy Hour graphic novel that's due out with Arcana later this year.

Nice to know folks are interested. Will be sure to keep you posted.

Thanks again.

Psi Files: Grey Ops is the first installment of a new series Superpowered by M&M.

While the validation of the Roswell crash of 1947 may be speculated by the general public, all but a few handful of key government and military personnel are unaware that not only did an alien flying saucer crash land in New Mexico, but its occupants survived and were enlisted by the U.S. government to act as special agents regarding paranormal issues tha may be of threat to not only the United States, but the planet Earth as a whole.

Psi Files: Grey Ops features background information and character write-ups specifically “superpowered for M&M” detailing the four extraterrestrial team members of the Grey Ops…
  • Ike - the team leader, and original commander of the ill-fated reconnaissance mission which resulted in the Roswell crash.
  • Betty - second in command, and ready to rally her team to take on whatever odds they face.
  • Pat - the team’s tech expert as well as providing the brawn.
  • Mac - the “loose cannon” of the team with a passion of human pop culture.
Psi Files: Grey Ops also contains illustrations by artist Jason Copland of each of the Grey Ops team members as well as standees to cut out and use for your Mutants & Masterminds game.

Future installments of the Psi Files series will offer unique insight to the elements that make up the government agency for Paranormal Security and Investigation that can be added to any Mutants & Masterminds roleplaying game for additional intrigue and adventure.
