The Legion Roll-Call will include my own changes to already published character profiles from the published DCA materials and Legionnaires, Legion reservists, Legion Academy students, Legion allies and enemies not provided in the Heroes & Villains Vol. 1 Sourcebook. MISC. SUPER-VILLAINS

I will generally be providing builds in the order that the Legionnaires joined the team (beginning with the three co-founders Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl) instead of in alphabetical order. Each character profile will also include individual notes on Stats for each Legionnaire during the Silver-Age (Adventure Comics Era) which vary from Stats of the adult Legionnaires as they appear in DCA Heroes & Villains Vol. 1 Handbook and the current Legion fo Super-Heroes (By Paul Levitz) prior to the new 52.

Please be patient as I work on providing the character profiles. If there is a particular Legionnaire or Legion foe you would like built let me know and I will try to work on it.

Hello Mon-El1969 and welcome to the forums! :)

I am so glad that there is a Legion of Super-Heroes fan besides myelf and especially one that appreciates the Pre-Crisis and Post-Crisis versions! 8)

Wow. You really captured virtually all of my Legion "Wish-List" characters like Night Girl, Silver Slasher, Titania, Blok and Spider-Girl.

The only other 4 favorites that I don't see are Andromeda, Laurel Kent (she wore only a red-Superman-esque cape draped off one shoulder covering her body) Tellus and Comet Queen. Could you please do profiles on these characters? Thanks.

Like the idea of the individual character notes. Can't wait to see your profiles!

My bad I forgot Tellus (Ganglios of Hykraius) in my Legionnaire Listing. I have completed several Legionnaires already (i.e. Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, Duplicate-Damsel (with Notes on Duo-Damsel and Triplicate Girl versions), Phantom Girl, Invisible Kid (both Lyle Norg and Jacques Foccart versions), Lightning Lass (with Notes on Light Lass), Magnetic Kid) already. I'm double-checking the Power Point costs and PL for each character, most modern versions are PL 10 and PL 6 thru 8 for Silver-Age (Adventure Comics) versions. Each Legionnaire profile will also include: background, history, powers & abilities, personality, allies and enemies sections like the official materials in the DCA Heroes & Villains (Vol. 1) Handbook. I am also going to include a special DC Universe Notes section at the bottom with info on each Legionnaire's home planet, with information drawn from the old DC Superheroes RPG: Atlas to the DC Universe produced by Mayfair Games. Since I have already completed Saturn Girl, I will use her as a template and change her around to work on Tellus for you. Keep checking back often I hope to have 5 profiles posted by weeks end. :D

This sounds awesome!

The PLs really do move around with this team. Invisible Lyle had some useful skill and could, particularly in later appearances, be a bit of a skill-monkey / tactical leader sort of character, but Invisible Jacques, to date, would be lucky to make PL 6, compared to characters like Wildfire and Mon-El which are busting PL caps all over the place.

Even characters with one-note powers, such as Shadow Lass, are shown doing stuff like blotting out the radiance of an entire sun (when she blacked out Imsk's sun temporarily), and Element Lad has been shown changing the atmosphere of an entire planet to include a small percentage of lead to drop 10,000 Daxamites screaming from the sky!

I agree with you, most of the Legionnaires are difficult to build with M&M Rules at reasonable PLs. Mon-El, Ultra Boy and Wildfire are barely able to build at PL 13, also the comics tend to depict the powers of others in different way and different PLs. Sun Boy has the power of Solar-Energy Manipulation and can project fire, heat and light. He can project enough light to light up a room or to rival a star, according to Dc Who's Who: Directory of the Dc Universe. How do you quantify that in M&M terms and still keep Sun Boy at PL 10 like the DCA H&V Handbook seems to imply. The same is true with Shadow Lass and her Shadow-Casting powers and Element Lad's Transmutation powers. Then there is Tyroc's Harmonic Control, which defies the basic Sonic Manipulation model and might best be represented with the Variable Effect instead activated by screaming. Most of the my builds will keep the Legionnaires at PL 10, but they might cost more than 150 power points like Lightning Lad (which I have posted under Encyclopedia Galactica: Legionnaires PL6 thru PL13. Check it out and let me know what you think of the build. I think it represents Garth Ranzz as an adult pretty well. Lightning Lad is a high cost PL 10, but could easily be downgraded to lower PLs by dropping some Power Stunts in the Electrokinesis Array and dropping/lowering some skills. I'd appreciate your input.

I am completing Sun Boy and Tellus this weekend. Both are hard to build in the PL 10 range and both exceed the 150 pp costs for beginning level characters.

I'm interested in your view of the 5YG revaluation that Garth was actually Proty? I can see you've written that out and went with the current more "classic" version, But I'm still curious.

So far I find your builds are great!

Not sure why you want to limit the most powerful Legion members at PL13 if they are really higher, but I am sure you can do it. I don't think you need to stick to 150pp for a PL10 build; that is just the suggested starting pp for that level. The official write-ups have some characters under and over their pps. For Instance, Superman is a PL15 and he has something like 289 pp (vs 225). So at any PL level, use the pp that are required/you think are needed for the build.

Can't wait to see the Tellus and Sun Boy builds!

Here you go. Hope it does the trick. 8)

STONE BOY
“I’m Stone Boy! I’ve just turned my fist into stone! It will rock you, when it connects with your jaw!”

Dag Wentim was born on Zwen, whose natives possess the ability to turn his body to solid stone and enter into suspended animation. He traveled to Earth and applied to the Legion of Super-Heroes (LSH), as Stone Boy, but was rejected. Stone Boy joined four other Legion rejects and formed the Legion of Substitute Heroes (Legion Subs). Although the Legion Subs originally secretly acted as the Legion’s auxiliary, the group was eventually discovered by the Legionnaires. The Legion held a contest to determine which Substitute-Hero would join the LSH. Stone Boy won, but refused to leave his friends, becoming the first person to turn down Legion membership. While with the Legion Subs, Stone Boy helped battle the Khunish during the Earth War, defeating the League of Super-Assassins, and protecting Weber’s World during the Great Darkness Crisis. After the dissolution of the Legion Subs, Stone Boy remained on Earth to helped smuggle aliens off planet after xenophobes Earth-Man and his Justice League Earth seized control of Earthgov. The Legion Subs regrouped and helped Superman and the Legionnaires defeat Earth-Man and the JLE. The Legion Subs have since set up their base in the abandoned JLE satellite in Earth orbit with Stone Boy as their leader.

_________________________________________________________________________
POWERS & ABILITIES: Like all the natives of the planet Zwen, Stone Boy can turn his body into hard stone (i.e. Transform 2 (turn flesh into stone), Limited to himself only, Selective). Generally speaking, his stone form is associated with a hibernation state (Trance Advantage) and immobilizes him, but Stone Boy can remain awake in stone form (Adventure Comics #351, 365 “Origins & Powers of the Legion of Super-Heroes“). Stone Boy can talk while petrified, so presumably he does this by ventriloquism (Adventure Comics #351, 374). While in his stone form Stone Boy weighs approximately 1 ton (Adventure Comics #351). After much practice and concentration, Stone Boy learned to petrify specific parts of his body, such as his hand, which enables him to move and punch someone with a stone fist (Adventure Comics #331). While Stone Boy’s petrified form is hard, but not unbreakable and can possibly be crushed (Adventure Comics #311).

PERSONALITY: Stone Boy is patient and methodical, ingenious and courageous. He is loyal to his friends in the Legion of Substitute Heroes and is capable of self-sacrifice for the greater good. Stone Boy has the distinction of being the first person to decline membership in the Legion of Super-Heroes. Due to the difference in planetary rotation between Zwen and Earth, Stone Boy sometimes falls asleep while on Mission Monitor duty.

ALLIES: Stone Boy is close to his teammates in the Legion of Substitute Heroes, and to former members Dream Girl and Star Boy. As a Legion Reservist, Stone Boy can rely on the Legionnaires for support when needed and has helped the Legion on numerous occasions, such as: the Earth War, the Daxamite invasion during the Great Darkness Crisis and the battle against Earth-Man and the Justice League Earth.

ENEMIES: Earth-Man and the Justice League Earth.

LIGHTNING LAD
“I prefer giving, Mekt -- but since you’re in such a rush to take, take this! KA-ZAPPP!”

Garth Ranzz with born on the planet Winath, a peaceful agrarian world, where nearly every native is born with a twin sibling. Garth his twin-sister Ayla and their older brother Mekt (born without a twin) were returning from off-world, when their spacecraft lost power and crafted on the stormy moon Korbal. The siblings attempted to get the native “Lightning Beasts” to recharge the spacecraft; unfortunately, monsters attacked them. The sibling were struck by the lightning discharge, which somehow imbued them with their own electrical powers. They used their new powers to recharge the spacecraft and returned home. Shortly thereafter, Mekt vanished into the galactic underworld and Garth left Winath to search for his brother. Traveling to Earth on a space liner, Garth met teenagers Rokk Krinn of Braal (Cosmic Boy) and Imra Ardeen of Titan (Saturn Girl). When disembarking in Metropolis spaceport, the teenagers used their superpowers to stop the assassination of R. J. Brande, a wealthy industrialist also traveling on the flight. On R. J. Brande’s suggestion the youths decided to emulate legendary superheroes of the past and use their powers for good and formed the Legion of Super-Heroes (LSH), with Garth taking the code name Lightning Lad.

Lightning Lad’s heroic career was ill-fated and he was the first Legionnaire to die in combat, when struck by Khundish warlord Zaryan the Conqueror’s freeze-ray. He was revived months later from his death-like state by the sacrifice of the life-force of Proty; only to lose an arm to Super-Moby Dick of Space. The arm was later regenerated. During the time when Lightning Lad was presumed dead, his twin-sister Ayla Ranzz took his place in the Legion as Lightning Lass and she is presently a member of the team. Lightning Lad eventually married longtime love Saturn Girl and the couple resigned, becoming reservists, since the Legion Constitution prohibited married members. They aided their fellow Legionnaires during the Earth War and rejoined when the Legion Constitution was revised, only to retire to semi-active advisory roles after the birth of their son, Graym. (Note: Actually unknown to the couple, Graym was actually a twin, with his twin-brother mysteriously stolen at birth, transported back in time, and transformed into the creature known as Validus by the evil deity Darkseid.) Later Validus was restored to his original form and is now being raised by his loving parents.

After the Magic Wars, Earth was overrun by xenophobia and EarthGov disbanded the Legion. Lightning Lad and some of his teammates remained on Earth to help smuggle aliens off-world. Following the defeat of Earth-Man and his self-styled Justice League Earth (JLE), with the help of Superman, Lightning Lad rejoined the Legion. He remains a steadfast member of the group and helped defeat Superboy-Prime, a new Legion of Super-Villains and a Durlan plot to takeover the United Planets; while raising his sons with his wife.

Transuit (Immunity 9 (Life Support, except for Starvation & Thirst), Removable (–2 point)) • 7 points

COMPLICATIONS:
Enemy: Lightning Lad’s older brother Mekt Ranzz a.k.a. Lightning Lord has been Garth’s most persistent foe. Lightning Lord has sworn to kill Lightning Lad and seeks to corrupt their sister Lightning Lass.
Interference of the Luck Lords: Lightning Lad is possibly one of the “unluckiest Legionnaires,” having been placed in a deathlike coma, temporarily losing a arm, being brainwashed into becoming a criminal, having his honeymoon interrupted by the Earth War and his bizarre metal-illness which led to a nervous breakdown. This is all in addition to having an older brother, who is determined to kill him. Unknown to the Legion, much of Lightning Lad’s misfortune is the result of deliberate manipulation by the Luck Lords, the remnants of a once-powerful race of mystics who try to control probability. On at least two occasions the Luck Lords intervened directly, manipulating Lightning Lord into killing Lightning Lad. Accordingly the GM may want to create a Sub-Plot around the Luck Lords schemes to unleash chaos. The GM could also have Lightning Lad automatically fail an important roll (Attack, Defense, Power or Skill, etc…) at a critical moment, temporarily give his opponent(s) the Beginner’s Luck or Luck Advantages or even give super-villains a few Hero Points for an adventure to reflect the continuing interference of the Luck Lord in Garth’s life. Interestingly had the Luck Lords never intervened in Garth’s early life, he would never have become a pivotal historical figure. It was actually their intervention which lead to Garth becoming Lightning Lad and the founding of the Legion, which then prevented magic from gaining ascendancy during the Magic Wars.
Mental Disorder: The accident which gave Lightning Lad his electrical powers has resulted in a rare neuro-electric disorder, which has caused Garth to experience occasional mental instability in times of great-stress, including a prior nervous breakdown.
Relationships: Lightning Lad is married to Saturn Girl and the couple have twins, Garridan & Graym Ranzz. His sons have often been used against him by opponents like Darkseid and the Time Trapper. Lightning Lad has a close-relationship with his twin-sister Ayla Ranzz (Lightning Lass) and he is best-friends with Legion co-founder Cosmic Boy.
Temper: Lightning Lad has is known as somewhat of a “livewire”. He can be argumentative and will lose his temper in stressful situations, especially when his family is threatened.

Power Points: Abilities 44 + Powers 53 + Advantages 18 + Skills 22 + Defenses 22 = Total 159
_________________________________________________________________________
LIGHTNING LAD (Early-Years)
During the Silver-Age Era in Adventure Comics, Lightning Lad was a bit different. He was less experiences with his lightning-casting powers and had fewer skills. Use the Stats below to better reflect the Adventure Comics series:
Abilities: Str 2 Sta 3 Agl 0 Dex 2 Fgt 4 Int 1 Awe 1 Pre 2
Powers: Electricity Absorption: Enhanced Ranged Damage 2), Fades;
Electrokinesis Array (19 points): Lightning Bolt: Ranged Damage 8, Accurate, Dynamic • 19 points;

Advantages: All-Out Attack, Benefit 1 (Legionnaire), Defensive Roll 4, Equipment 6 (standard LSH devices), Power Attack, Takedown, Teamwork
Skills: Athletics 2 (+4), Expertise: Profession (Farming) 2 (+3), Expertise: Scholar (Legion Constitution) 2 (+3), Insight 4 (+5), Intimidation 4 (+6), Perception 4 (+5), Technology 5 (+6), Vehicle 5 (+7)
Offense: Initiative+1, Lightning Bolt+6 (Ranged Damage 8/10*), Short Circuit+6 (Ranged Affliction, Resisted by Dodge, Electronic devices only), Stun Shock (Ranged Affliction, Resisted by Fortitude), Unarmed+4 (Close Damage 2)
Defense: Dodge 7, Parry 7, Fortitude 8, Toughness 7, Will 6
Equipment: Standard LSH equipment for the appropriate era, either a Flying Belt or Legion Flight Ring, Telepathic Earplugs and various Spacesuits. (Note: Lightning Lad lost an arm battling the a space monster and had it replaced with a cybernetic limb, which could be included under his personal equipment, Cybernetic Arm (Strength 5, Fortitude --, Toughness 10, Impervious 5). The arm was later re-grown via 30th-century cloning technology.
_________________________________________________________________________

POWERS & ABILITIES:
Lightning Lad has the ability to project bolts of electrical energy similar to lightning, with control over their intensity so they can be used, for example: to stun an opponent or destroy most objects. He can cover his body with a aura of electricity which harms anyone foolish enough to touch him. Garth can also absorb electricity directed at his body and dissipate it harmlessly or use the absorbed energy to augment his own lightning-casting powers. As an adult Lightning Lad has developed numerous Power Stunts with his electrokinesis and can use even more by using Extraordinary Effort or by using a Hero Point.
As a Legionnaire, Lightning Lad has completed personal combat training with adequate grades. He is also a skilled pilot and astro-navigator. As a Legionnaire, Garth uses the standard LSH equipment for the Era, either a Flying Belt or LSH Flight Ring which allows him to fly at will and can communicate/survive in outer space and other hostile environments with his Telepathic Earplugs and Transuit.

PERSONALITY: Lightning Lad has always been a flashy and dynamic personality, and provided the early Legion with much of its energy and drive - not to mention an infusion of raw power with his lightning-casting abilities. Early in his heroic career Garth was known as a “livewire”. He was impatient, argumentative and somewhat reckless (usually in the cause of heroism and helping others). He is a brave, selfless hero, and even before gaining his lightning powers. He usually displays his courage and level-headedness in a crisis and his ability to put aside his personal fears in order to do what needed to be done. His opponents and teammates have underestimated him on occasion, particularly since his neurological illness and mental breakdown, but with that exception, whenever Lightning Lad has been tested (such as by the Time Trapper in the Legionnaires 3 Mini-Series), Garth has risen heroically to the occasion. Since becoming a father, Garth has grown up a great deal and is more patient; although he tends to argue with Cosmic Boy over their different leadership styles.

WINATH (ENCYCLOPEDIA GALACTICA)
Winath is a full-member of the United Planets. It is s peaceful, mainly agricultural world on which every living creature and flora has a twin. Solo births are extremely rare on Winath. Winath was originally settled as one of humankind’s earliest interstellar colonies. The native Winathians live in a symbiotic relationship with their planet. Winath has its own sovereign government and a Winathian representative has a seat on the United Planets’ Council. Winath maintains an agrarian society, with its natural resources and technology used to promote its role as the “Breadbasket of the U.P.”. Farms are worked by large collective communities and barter in trade among themselves. The farmers sell their crops to off-world merchants. Most Winathians are somewhat xenophobic and prefer to remain on their own world with their twin-siblings, who usually share the same occupations. Twin Legionnaires Garth Ranzz (Lightning Lad) and Ayla Ranzz (Lightning Lass, formerly Light Lass) are natives of Winath, as is their villainous older brother Mekt Ranzz (Lightning Lord), who is considered mentally unbalanced since he was born without a twin. Contrary to popular myth, the Ranzz siblings gained their lightning casting abilities not on Winath (as Winathians have not native superpowers), but on the near boring planet-sized moon Korbal, the home of the native “Lightning Beasts”.
_________________________________________________________________________
Design Notes: Lightning Lad is a mainstay of the Legion and one of the group co-founders. He is at the very least as powerful and equal to the other co-founders Cosmic Boy and Saturn Girl, infusing the team with raw energy-casting powers. Early in his super-heroic career Lightning Lad was more inexperienced and thus had fewer skills (at lower Ranks), lower power Ranks and fewer Power Stunts available in his Electrokinesis Array. I found no conclusive evidence of him having any type of Electrical Aura in his early years (as seen in Adventure Comics or Superboy & Legion of Super-Heroes). This power seemed to develop later in adulthood, as depicted in Legion of Super-Heroes (Vol. 1) #302, when fighting Lightning Lord. The power seems linked to his agitated state of mind and could have a limitation, such as: Limited to when angry, at the GM‘s discretion. He also displayed his Ground Charge stunt once as depicted in Legion of Super-Heroes (Vol. 1) Annual #1. Thus the younger Lightning Lad does not have either stunt. I could find no evidence of the power to absorb electricity to augment his lighting casting-powers, but included it as a reasonable extension of his electrokinesis powers. Lightning Lad was also portrayed as being mentally unstable, due to a neurological imbalance in his brain, caused by his electrical powers, which resulted in him resigning as Legion leader and suffering a nervous breakdown; although the condition seems to have corrected itself during the Great Darkness crisis. The Mental Instability Complication was provided in case the GM wishes to use it as a Sub-Plot in an adventure. It was also revealed that much of Lightning Lad’s misfortunes, over the years, was the result of interference by the mythical Luck Lords, which could also be a Complication and even provide a continuing Sub-Plot for a LSH campaign. As a co-founder Lightning Lad helped draft the Legion Constitution, therefore I included Expertise: Scholar (Legion Constitution) among his skills. Since Garth grew up on Winath in an farming community, it also made sense to give him Expertise: Profession (Farming).

Here is another Legion of Super-Heroes Build for Bouncing Boy (Chuck Taine of Earth) which a friend requested. Bouncing Boy has got to be the luckiest super-hero around. Being married to Duplicate Damsel must make for some very kinky times between the sheets. Of course if Luornu is pissed it would mean mutliple nagging and complaining too, so it might balance out in the long run. Lol. :D

BOUNCING BOY
“"Hi, gang! Your regular teacher, Karate Kid, is off-duty today, so I bounced down to show you some real fighting!” -- Bouncing Boy (Adventure Comics # 371)

While working for a scientist on 31st-century Earth, Chuck Taine accidentally drank an experimental “super-plastic fluid” while watching a sports event. The fluid drastically altered his body, giving Chuck the ability to inflate into a rubbery ball-like shape, allowing him to bounce and ricochet off hard surfaces without harm. With his new superpowers, Chuck decided to try out for the Legion of Super-Heroes, as Bouncing Boy and was rejected twice. A short-time later Bouncing Boy defeated an electrical super-villain single-handedly due to his being immune to the villains powers and was invited to join the Legion. His good humor and charming personality eventually led him to become the team’s Membership Committee Chairman and unofficial “Morale Officer”. Bouncing Boy’s has lost and regained his superpowers several times over the years.

During his last period of powerlessness, Bouncing Boy proposed to teammate Luornu Durgo a.k.a. Duo-Damsel and she accepted. They were married and resigned from the group, becoming Legion reservists and instructors at the Legion Academy. As a reservist, Bouncing Boy has helped the team defend Earth during the Earth War, battle Darkseid during the Great Darkness crisis, and fight Superboy-Prime and the new Legion of Super-Villains. Bouncing Boy has resumed his position as an instructor at the reopened Legion Academy.

Telepathic Earplugs (Comprehend 3 (Spoken Languages); Mental Communication 1 (Close Range); Removable (–1 point)) • 7 points
Transuit (Immunity 9 (Life Support, except for Starvation & Thirst), Removable (–2 point)) • 7 points

COMPLICATIONS:
Power Loss: Over the years Bouncing Boy’s super-bouncing powers have been unreliable. He has lost and regained his several times.
Relationship: Bouncing Boy is married to Luornu Durgo a.k.a. Duplicate Damsel (formerly Duo-Damsel/Triplicate Girl).
Responsibility: Bouncing Boy is Instructor-in-Chief of the Legion Academy, along with Duo-Damsel, and feels responsible for his students safety and training.
Trill Seeker: Bouncing Boy enjoys the challenges and excitement of being a Legionnaire. I joined the Legion of Super-Heroes for the excitement and was a bit reckless. Since getting married he has grown up and is more responsible.
Uncertainty: Early during his Legion career Bouncing Boy had a low self-esteem and often questioned the usefulness of his relatively weak superpowers compared to his more powerful teammates, e.g. Colossal Boy, Mon-El, Superboy, Ultra Boy, etc… However, Chuck has proven himself numerous times over the years.

POWERS & ABILITIES: Bouncing Boy can expand his body into a balloon-like shape at will. In this rubbery form, Chuck can bounce and rebound his body off of hard surfaces with ease and can strike his opponents with high-speed impacts, knocking them down. While bouncing, Bouncing Boy is protected from electrical-attacks due to his not being grounded and the natural resistance of rubber to electrical discharges. His rubbery body is also resistant to blunt-force trauma and impacts. He also can act as a soft-cushion for falling characters. Bouncing Boy’s powers make him a bouncing dervish in combat and he is extremely difficult to hit while bouncing around. Bouncing Boy has completed LSH personal combat training with above-average results and has been a combat instructor at the Legion Academy. As a Legion reservist, Bouncing Boy uses standard LSH equipment, including: a Legion Flight Ring (which enables him to fly at will) and Telepathic Earplugs and Transuit (which allows him to communicate and survive in outer-space and harmful environments.)

PERSONALITY: Bouncing Boy is a courageous, good-hearted, kind and helpful guy. He has a good sense of humor. He has often been called the happiest Legionnaire and often functioned as the group’s self-appointed “Morale Officer”. Despite Bouncing Boy’s joking, happy-go-lucky exterior, Chuck has a sharp analytical mind. At his best Bouncing Boy uses is humor, outrageousness and good-listening skills to help his teammates and students deal with pressure and perform at their best. Early in his super-heroic career, Chuck had some feelings of inadequacy and a desire to prove himself, which he did many times over. Bouncing Boy is extremely devoted and protective of his wife(s), Duplicate-Damsel.

ALLIES: Bouncing Boy is well-liked and has many friends in the Legion of Super-Heroes and Legion Reserves. He can call on his teammates for help when needed. He is married to Duplicate-Damsel, who remains his greatest ally/allies. As a Legion Academy instructor, Bouncing Boy is a role-model to and cares deeply for his many students. He also has contacts in Earth’s Science Police and was briefly a member of a second Legion of Substitute Heroes.

ENEMIES: As a Legion reservist, Bouncing Boy considers all of the Legion’s enemies as his own. Because he single-handedly defeated Hunter II (Adam Orion).

Design Notes - Translating Bouncing Boy from the information depicted in the comics into M&M terms was difficult, since his powers has been treated differently by the various Legion writers. Bouncing Boy has the power to inflate his body into a balloon-like shape at will, which I used Morph 1 (inflate into ball) with Quirk (Limited to same colors) as his changing shape does not provide any disguise advantages. Bouncy’s ball-like form can bounce and ricochet off of hard surfaces with great-speed and is represented by the Leaping and Speed effects. There is some evidence that Bouncy could increase his size while inflating into a ball as depicted in both Vol. 1 & 2 of Legion of Super-Heroes. However, I declined to give him any Ranks in Growth, since the growth effect of his inflating himself is inconsistent among Legion writers. In his inflated form, Bouncing Boy makes charging attacks (Bouncing Strike), often combining this with a Multi-Attack and Ricochet 3 to knockdown (Improved Trip) multiple opponents - making Bouncy an extremely effective physical combatant, as depicted most notably during the Earth War (Superboy & Legion of Super-Heroes) and Great Darkness Saga (Legion of Super-Heroes), which justified giving him the Multi-Attack and Ricochet Extras. Bouncing Boy’s agility and resilience make him a bouncing dervish in combat. When on the defensive he bounces rapidly all over the place in seemingly random patterns, becoming an extremely difficult target to hit and he has blocked attacks on his teammates by using his body as a rubbery shield, which justified the Enhanced Advantages (Enhanced Dodge, Interpose, Move-By Action) and Enhanced Skill (Acrobatics). Adventure Comics, Who’s Who: Directory of the Dc Universe and Who’s Who: Legion of Super-Heroes states that Bouncy is protected from electrical-attacks due to his not being grounded (Electrical Immunity). However, such an immunity is also inconsistent with electrical attacks to other flying Legionnaires and therefore may be based on his rubbery form instead acting as a natural insulator. His rubbery body is highly-resistant to blunt-force trauma and impacts (Immunity [Blunt-Trauma & Falling Damage]), although he is not invulnerable to all harm. Bouncing Boy has completed LSH personal combat training with above-average results and even acted as Karate Kid’s replacement (as physical combat instructor) at the original Legion Academy, which implies a high Fighting and Close Combat skill Ranks. Please note that since all Legionnaires and reservists are given Flight Rings, Telepathic Earplugs and Transuits, the Power Point costs associated with these devices have not been applied to the build cost (which really only changes the PP cost slightly anyway). Standard LSH equipment is included under Equipment instead of the Powers section. The only devices in the Powers section will be unique devices, such as: Brainiac 5’s Force Field Belt, Quislet’s Micro-Spacecraft or Tellus’ Life-Support Helmet (when I get around to building those characters.) Such devices will have their PP costs computed into the builds accordingly.

Here is the second Invisible Kid an easy and straight-forward low PL Build (PL-6). I always thought that Jacques Foccart added a much needed cultural diversity to the team, especially how the Legion writers used French phrases when writing his dialogue. Kind of gave him some class.

INVISIBLE KID II
“This rain complements our powers well, mam’selle [Phantom Girl] -- it makes it tres difficile to see anything!” -- Invisible Kid II

Jacques Foccart a native of Earth grew up on Africa's Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire) with his two sisters Danielle and Francine in the 30th-century. Jacques brought his younger sister Danielle, who suffered from a incurable electrical dysfunction in her brain to Brainiac 5, who had taken an interest in her case. While trying to cure the young girl, Brainiac 5 accidentally incorporated some circuits that released the evil electronic-intelligence Computo, which possessed Danielle’s body. Computo took control of Legion headquarters and attacked the Legionnaires nearly killing them. Jacques, whom Computo had ignored, used his freedom to find a vial of the Lyle Norg's (the original Invisible Kid) “invisibility serum” and drank. Becoming invisible, Jacques was able to sneak up on and inject his sister with a tranquilizer neutralizing the threat. In recognition for his heroism the Legionnaires asked Jacques to join the team and he accepted joining as the second Invisible Kid.

Not long after, Invisible Kid found that not only could he turn invisible, but the serum had also given him the ability to open portals to other dimensions and teleport. He accidentally discovered his additional powers when he reflectively teleported Wharlik a Khundian warrior and himself into outer space, killing the Khund. The power also caused Jacques and Wildfire to journey to a “Dream Dimension“, where he met his predecessor Lyle Norg, the original Invisible Kid, who was actually an evil Dream Demon in disguise. After defeating the Dream Demon, Invisible Kid and Wildfire returned to the physical universe and lit an eternal flame on Shanghalla, as a tribute to Lyle Norg.

Though teleportation was a powerful addition to his abilities, Invisible Kid could not in good conscience keep a power he could not control. He asked Brainaic 5 and Legion physician Dr. Gym’ll to remove them permanently. As time passed Invisible Kid became a capable and dedicated member of the Legion and due to his powers and detective skills a valuable member of the Espionage Squad. His pensive approach to situations proved to be an asset when the Legion was disbanded by EarthGov, during Earth Man’s and the Justice League’s xenophobic campaign to rid Earth of non-Humans. Jacques retired his costume but not his heroic beliefs, he used his invisibility and influence as a former Legionnaire to help smuggle aliens off Earth. Once Earh Man and the Justice League were defeated by the Legionnaires with the help of Superman, Invisible Kid rejoined the Legion. Invisible Kid took part in the team’s battle against Superboy-Prime and his new Legion of Super-Villains, and even undertook a mission to the 21st-century with the Espionage Squad to protect Mon-El‘s heroic legacy. Invisible Kid remains a valued member of the Legion.

DIMENSIONAL TELEPORTER:
At one point (as seen in Legion of Super-Heroes comics), Invisible Kid discovered that Lyle Norg’s “invisibility serum” had given him the additional superpower to move between the Dream and Earth dimensions and teleport over great distances. He briefly had Dimensional Teleportation: Teleport 18, Extended (250,000 miles), Increased Mass 3 (400 lbs) Linked to Movement (Dimension Travel [Dream Dimension]), Portal; Uncontrollable (only when in mortal danger). Invisible Kid had Brainiac 5 and Dr. Gym’ll remove these powers, after he accidentally killed a Khund warrior by teleporting them both into space.

EQUIPMENT:

Telepathic Earplugs: (Comprehend 3 (languages) Linked to Mental Communication 1 (Close Range), Removable (-1 point)) • 7 points;
Transuit (Immunity 9 (Life Support), Limited (except for starvation & thirst), Removable (–2 point)) • 7 points

COMPLICATIONS:
Accident: Invisible Kid accidentally killed a Khund warrior in self-defense, when he teleported himself and the Khund into outer-space. The incident so disturbed Jacques that he had Brainiac 5 remove his teleporting abilities permanently.
Responsibility: Invisible Kid feels a great deal of responsibility to use his powers for the greater good, hoping to live up to the legacy of his predecessor the original Invisible Kid (Lyle Norg) who died in action.
Relationship: Invisible Kid cares deeply for his sisters Danielle & Francine who live together in the Ivory Coast of Africa. Invisible Kid’s closest-friends among the Legionnaires are: Blok, Brainiac 5 (who cured his sister Danielle), White Witch and Wildfire.
Uncertainty: Early in his Legion career, Invisible Kid was uncertain about his role as a Legionnaire and superhero in general. Some of his uncertainty resulted from the limited offensive capabilities of his invisibility powers compared to the more powerful members of the team, such: as Mon-El, Superboy, Ultra Boy, Wildfire, etc…..

POWERS & ABILITIES: Using the “invisibility serum” created by his predecessor, Lyle Norg the original Invisible Kid, Jacques Foccart is able to mentally bend visible-light wavelengths around his body, in effect making himself undetectable to normal sight. With some effort, Invisible Kid has been able to extend the range of his invisibility to people of objects he is physically touching, but doing so is fatiguing and should be considered a Power Stunt using Extraordinary Effort or cost a Hero Point. Invisible Kid discovered that the serum also gave him additional abilities, including the power to teleport over great distances and open portals to other dimensions. However, Jacques teleportation and dimension traveling powers were instinctive and uncontrollable. After his teleportation power accidentally killed a Khund warrior, Invisible Kid had Brainiac 5 and Legion physician Dr. Gymll remove these abilities permanently.

PERSONALITY: Invisible Kid is kind, compassionate, extremely friendly and personable. He keeps his secrets, but it doesn't show. He is so friendly no one thinks he's hiding anything. Early in his Legion career Jacques felt insecure and often questioned his role as a superhero, due in part to his relatively weak powers compared to more powerful Legionnaires, such as: Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad, Mon-El, Sun Boy, Superboy, Ultra Boy and Wildfire, etc…. He also felt insecure in his ability to live up to his deceased predecessor’s reputation. However, he has proven himself to be a brave and effective combatant, despite the defensive nature of his powers.

ALLIES: Since joining the Legion of Super-Heroes, Invisible Kid has proven himself a capable superhero and is a member in good standing of the team. By virtue of his invisibility and keen detective skills, Invisible Kid is a permanent member of the Legion Espionage Squad.

ENEMIES: While a Legionnaire, Invisible Kid has fought a wide variety of menaces, such as: the Drak Circle, Darkseid, the Dominators, the Fatal Five, the Khunds, the Legion of Super-Villains, Mordru, Starfinger II, the Time Trapper, etc….

Design Notes - Jacques Foccart the second Invisible Kid is a pretty straight forward character build and a great example of a one-power superhero. His only power is the ability to turn himself, his clothes and small objects he touches invisible to the naked eye. Invisible Kid II’s Who’s Who: Legion of Super-Heroes entry stated that Jacques could become undetectable to infrared and ultra-violet detection, but this is directly contradicted by the fact that Wharlak a Khund assassin was able to see him with his infrared cybernetic eye. It was this fact that led to Wharlak choking Jacques, which triggered his uncontrollable Teleportation powers, leading to the Khund’s death in outer-space. Thus, I did not give Invisible Kid more than 2 Ranks in Visual Concealment. Also Jacques has fewer skills than his predecessor the boy genius scientist Lyle Norg the original Invisible Kid, who was killed by Validus. Jacques is a good example of a high-cost Power Level 6 build, his Skill modifiers, Attack & Effect, Dodge & Toughness, Parry & Toughness, Fortitude & Will all fall within the PL 6 range but he costs 96 pp instead of the standard 90. He not very tough in battle, but is more useful in espionage and stealth related missions, like another relatively weak Legionnaires, such as: Phantom Girl, Saturn Girl, Shrinking Violet, etc….

Here is a build of Sun Boy as he appears from Superboy & Legion of Super-Heroes thru the current Legion of Super-Heroes series (pre-New 52). Sun Boy is basically a PL 10 Energy Controller build with a Variable Descriptor (Solar Energies) on his powers, giving him the ability to project fire, heat, light and radiation. Sun Boy costs more than the standard PL 10 (150 points), but his Skills, Dodge & Toughness, Parry & Toughness and Fortitude & Will all fall well within the PL 9. The only exception was his Solar Blast effect which came in at 22 above the Attack & Effect (20) limit for PL 10. Because his primary power was above PL 10 but everything else was PL 9, I assigned Sun Boy PL 10. Notes have been included on a weaker, less experienced Sun Boy as he appeared in the Silver Age of Adventure Comics.

SUN BOY
“I’m getting tired of people trying to blow me up! You’d think by now super-villains would learn Legionnaires die hard.” -- Sun Boy

Dirk Morgna was helping out at his father’s fusion reactor, when an accident injured him and killed another young scientist. The accident was caused by Dr. Zaxton Regulus' unauthorized research. Dr. Regulus was fired and he blamed Dirk vowing revenge. Sneaking back into the lab, Dr. Regulus beat Dirk into unconsciousness and left him in the fusion reactor to die; instead exposure to the radiation activated his meta-gene and gave the youth solar powers. He applied to the Legion of Super-Heroes, as Sun Boy (at the same time as Brainiac 5, Shrinking Violet and Supergirl) and was rejected due to lack of control over his powers. At the next Open Call for members, Sun Boy had learned to control his powers and impressed the Legionnaires with his ability to project heat and light. He was inducted alongside Shrinking Violet. Sun Boy quickly became one of the most active and respected Legionnaires, often leading teams on missions; although he has resisted actually running for Legion leader. He did serve a term as deputy leader under Mon-El. Sun Boy has played important roles in many key battles, including: attacks by his arch-nemesis Dr. Regulus, the Earth War and the attack of the Sun-Eater, which was lured from destroying Earth’s sun by his solar powers. Sun Boy is perhaps the most visible Legionnaire on Earth's social scene and he keeps a room at his father’s Metropolis residence as well as his apartments at Legion Headquarters. He is considered one of the Metropolis’ most eligible bachelors. When he’s not studying advanced sciences at Metropolis University, Sun Boy is busy furthering his famed social-life by romantically pursuing a number of beautiful women, including: Science Police officer Gigi Cusimano, Legion Academy student Laurel Kent and fellow Legionnaire Shrinking Violet. He has never been associated with any woman for any length of time.

After the Magic Wars, Sun Boy was captured by xenophobes led by Earth-Man and his Justice League Earth (made up of Legion rejects). Earth-Man imprisoned Sun Boy and used his solar powers to change Earth’s yellow sun red. Sun Boy was freed by Superman and his fellow Legionnaires, but the trauma of his captivity has shaken him to his core. Sun Boy became a recluse, shunning the spotlight and questing his role as a superhero. He rejoined the Legion to help defeat Superboy-Prime and the Legion of Super-Villains, and is slowly regaining his confidence with the help of his friends.

Fame: Sun Boy is possibly one of the most famous and recognizable Legionnaires. He is a regular on the Metropolis Social scene and is often hounded by the media and his female fans.
Infamy: Sun Boy has a reputation as a macho, overconfident and shameless womanizer. He will flirt with any available woman he meets and has been romantically linked to many woman, including Science Police Officer Gigi Cusimano and Shrinking Violet, although he refuses to settle down.
Phobia: Sun Boy is afraid of total darkness, which has been exploited by his enemies (e.g. Psycho Warrior). His fear can cause him to hesitate or behave foolishly when confronted with his fears.
Recognition: Sun Boy joined the Legion of Super-Heroes for the attention and the recognition, as a surefire way to get beautiful women to notice him. Although, secretly shy, Sun Boy acts the part of a confident superhero, womanizer and glory-hog who loves the spotlight.

POWERS & ABILITIES: Sun Boy possesses the ability to unleash heat, light and radiation with great control and potency (Blinding Flash, Energy Blast, Environment Control [Extreme Heat, Light]). He can achieve enough brightness to light a room or to rival the sun as seen from Earth. He can easily melt through steel. If he wishes, his whole body becomes red or white hot so that anything flammable near him will ignite (Fiery Aura) and offers protection for projectiles. Sun Boy is also immune to fire and heat (Solar Resistance) and can absorb limited quantities of heat and radiation dispersing it harmlessly. Sun Boy can vary the solar wavelengths he produces via his Solar-Energy array (Feature: Special Effect), enabling him to take advantage of a vulnerability to yellow by a Green Lantern power ring, or to red sunlight by Daxamites and Kryptonians as a Power Stunt with Extraordinary Effort and costs a Hero Point. Sun Boy also excelled in Legion's personal combat training (Fighting, Close Combat: Unarmed skill). He is a skilled pilot and scientist, especially in physics (Expertise: Science, Vehicles). Sun Boy is also an extremely popular and charismatic superhero, with a very formidable charm and attractiveness (Attractive, Persuasion, Presence). As a Legionnaire, Sun Boy uses the standard LSH equipment. He flies with his Legion Flight Ring and can communicate/survive in outer space and other hostile environments with his Telepathic Earplugs and Transuit.

PERSONALITY: Sun Boy is a player, a ladies’ man who enjoys dating and romancing women and shows no inclination to settle down. When it comes to the Legion, however, he is very dedicated and though a fun guy, he takes his work very seriously. When angered or the stakes are high, Sun Boy can be an implacable foe, and when Dirk unleashes the full range of his solar-powers the effect can be awesome.

SUN BOY - Early LSH Years
During the Silver-Age Era in Adventure Comics, Sun Boy was a bit different. Use the Stats below to better reflect the Adventure Comics series:
Abilities: Str 1 Sta 2 Agl 2 Dex 2 Fgt 4 Int 2 Awe 2 Pre 3
Powers: Solar-Energy Control: Solar Blast (Ranged Damage 8, Variable Descriptor (Solar Energy, e.g. fire, heat, radiation, etc…) • 26 points; AE: Heat Projection (Environment Control 5 (Extreme Heat; Area (1,800 feet), Dynamic) • 2 points; AE: Light Projection (Environment Control 5 (Light, Impede Movement 1 (Visibility), Area (1,800 feet), Dynamic) • 2 points; Solar Resistance (Immunity 5 (fire & heat)) • 5 points
Advantages: Accurate Attack, Attractive, Benefit (Legionnaire), Power Attack, Precise Attack (Ranged; Cover)
Skills: Deception 3 (+5), Expertise: Pop Culture 4 (+6), Expertise: Science 4 (+6), Perception 4 (+6), Persuasion 5 (+9), Ranged Combat: Solar-Energy Powers 2 (+5), Technology 5 (+7), Vehicles 4 (+7)Deception 3 (+6), Expertise: Science 4 (+7), Persuasion 4 (+7), Ranged Combat: Solar-Energy 4 (+7), Technology 5 (+8), Vehicle 4 (+7)
Offense: Initiative +2, Solar Blast +7 (Ranged Damage 7), Solar Burst -- (Ranged Damage 5, Burst Area), Unarmed +6 (Damage 1)
Defense: Dodge 5, Parry 5, Fortitude 5, Toughness 2, Will 4
_________________________________________________________________________
Design Notes: Sun Boy's interesting in that his powers have varied based on the story and writers. It has been shown that Sun Boy could project enough light to rival a star and lure a Sun-Eater off its course to devour a sun. However, this would require a much higher rank of Environment (Light), possibly 25-30 range. Sun Boy is basically a PL 10 Energy Controller with the Variable Descriptor to allow for a wide range of solar powers, e.g. fire, heat, light, radiation, etc.... To keep Power Point costs down it made more sense to use lower ranks in his Solar Powers and make such “pushing the limits” effects as a result of Extra Effort or spending Hero Points.

Hey, Mon-El 1969. Just read your first couple of Legionnaires and I liked what I saw. Your layout is nice, your builds are clean and simple (and I assume very comprehensive) and your notations and explanations top-notch. I don't know much about the Legion of Superheroes, but I suspect I will as long as keep reading this thread. :)

One rules question. What is the "Damaging 2" on Sun Boy's project heat? Damage 2 with six ranks of the burst area extra?

STONE BOY
“I’m Stone Boy! I’ve just turned my fist into stone! It will rock you [Cosmic King], when it connects with your jaw!”

Dag Wentim was born on Zwen, whose natives possess the ability to turn their bodies into solid stone and enter into suspended animation. While with the Legion Subs, Stone Boy helped battle the Khunds during the Earth War, defeat the League of Super-Assassins, and protect Weber’s World during the Great Darkness Crisis. The Legion Subs have since set up their base in the abandoned JLE satellite in Earth orbit with Stone Boy as their de facto leader.

COMPLICATIONS:
Relationships: Stone Boy is close to his teammates in the Legion of Substitute Heroes, and to former Substitute-Heroes: Dream Girl Polar Boy, Night GIrl and Star Boy. His parents, younger brother and younger sister live on Zwen.
_________________________________________________________________________
POWERS & ABILITIES: Like all the natives of the planet Zwen, Stone Boy can turn his body into hard stone (i.e. Transform 2 (turn flesh into stone), Limited to himself only). After much practice and concentration, Stone Boy learned to petrify specific parts of his body, such as his hand, which enables him to move and punch someone with a stone fist, i.e. Selective Extra (Adventure Comics #331).

ALLIES: Stone Boy is close to his teammates in the Legion of Substitute Heroes, and to former members Dream Girl, Polar Boy, Night GIrl and Star Boy.

Here you have good-ole Ganglios of Hykriaus, the lovable fish known as Tellus. I am really excited about all the Legion-related materials coming out of DC Comics the New 52, which includes: Legion of Super-Heroes (Vol. 5 ??? whatever...), Legion Lost (starring Tellus trapped the the 21st-century) and Legion Secret Origin #1-6. It is the year of the Legion for DC.

Since Legion Lost has come out in the DC New 52, I am going to refocus on the characters in that comic series first and then finish the rest of the Legion, rogues gallery and supporting cast. Legion Lost Roll-Call includes: Chameleon Girl, Dawnstar, Gates, Tellus, Timber Wolf and Wildfire. I am working on builds for Timber Wolf and Wildfire next and hope to post them by next weekend. I am also working on 31 st-century Equipment Builds for Legion Headquarters, Legion Mk XIX Cruisers and Time Spheres (a.k.a. Time Bubbles). Keep checking back.

TELLUS
First Appearance: Legion of Super-Heroes (Vol. 1) #304
“My telekinesis can contain….your shape shifting [Chameleon Girl] form until you can better control it.”-- Tellus [Legion Lost (Vol. 2) #1 (Nov. 2011)]

Ganglios was born on Hykraius, a gigantic watery world in the 30th-century. Although poisonous elements in the atmosphere and water of Hykraius kept contact with Humans to a minimum, Ganglios learned of the existence of the Legion of Super-Heroes (LSH). Traveling to Earth, he was accepted at the Legion Academy, hoping to learn more about the Legion so he could start a similar organization on his home planet. With the assistance of portable life-support device, designed by Brainiac 5, Ganglios was able to move about freely and joined the Legion under the name Tellus, when Saturn Girl resigned from the team to help raised her twin-sons. Little is known about the origin of Tellus’ powers and it is speculated that they are in many ways different from the norm on Hykraius. Tellus left Earth and returned to Hykraius, when Earthgov, overrun by xenophobes, disbanded the Legion. Following the defeat of Earth-Man and the Justice League Earth, Tellus rejoined the team, displaying more refined control over his psionic abilities.

Recently after the Flashpoint event, Tellus and a group of Legionnaires (i.e. Chameleon Girl, Dawnstar, Gates, Timber Wolf, Tyroc and Wildfire) were trapped in the 21st-century, while chasing a terrorist, determined to release a meta-genetic virus - altering Humanity and history.

Real Name: Ganglios of Hykraius.
Occupation: Legionnaire
Marital Status: Single
Known Relatives: Unrevealed
Base of Operations: United States on 21st-century Earth; formerly Legion headquarters, Metropolis on 31st-century Earth
Group Affiliation: Legion Espionage Squad, Legion of Super-Heroes

Life-Support Device: Immunity 10 (Life Support), Limited (except for starvation & thirst); Protection 5, Limited to head injuries, Removable (–2 point) • 10 points

COMPLICATIONS:
Fish Out Of Water: Tellus breaths an exotic methane rich atmosphere (which is poisonous to Humans) and requires a special Life-Support Device (i.e. helmet) to survive away form his planet’s environment. He takes damage from breathing a normal oxygen/nitrogen atmosphere or water. Tellus can remain unprotected in an Earthlike atmosphere for up to 3 minutes. After that he begins to suffocate (use Suffocation Rules found in DCA Heroes Handbook for details). Breathing a methane rich atmosphere immediately removes all accumulated conditions.
Motivation - Doing Good: Tellus is a truly good, kind and compassionate being. He fights the good fight simply because it’s the right thing to do and he believes in doing the right thing no matter what.
Prejudice: Tellus is an alien and his strange appearance has often subjected him to the prejudices of xenophobes, who fear non-Humans. Tellus’ strange appearance has created problems during social interactions.
Relationships: Tellus is well liked by his teammates and can count on them when the chips are down. Tellus’ closest-friends Magnetic Kid (Pol Krinn) - now deceased, Polar Boy and Quislet. He also has many friend at the Legion Academy.
Telepath’s Code: Tellus like most telepath’s respects the privacy of other sentient beings and finds it distasteful to use his telepathy to alter or read the minds of unwilling beings. His sense of honor has led to moral dilemmas when he has been forced by circumstances to invade an opponent’s or unconscious being’s mind to obtain information for his teammates.
_________________________________________________________________
POWERS & ABILITIES: Tellus has the power to read minds and communicate telepathically (Telepathy Array) across relatively short distances. In addition, he can focus his mental energy in a form of telekinesis (Telekinesis Array) that can move objects or serve as blasts of force. He can also project telekinetic force fields and deflect attacks directed at himself and others. Tellus has no ability to survive in personal combat in a human environment, though he reputedly would be able to fight in a watery atmosphere like his native planet. Tellus wears the LSH Flight Ring, which permits him to fly at will without using his telekinesis for flight.

PERSONALITY: Tellus is a truly good, kind and compassionate being. He fights the good fight simply because it’s the right thing to do and he believes in doing the right thing no matter what. Like many non-Human in a Human society, Tellus can often become confused by Earth customs. He is forthright and honest, although a bit shy and unsure of himself in social situations.

ALLIES: Tellus is well liked by his fellow Legionnaires and can rely on his teammates for aid when needed. Tellus also has contacts on 21 st-century Earth, which include: Guardian (Jim Harper), Superboy, Supergirl and Superman.

ENEMIES: As a Legionnaire, Tellus considers any foe of the Legion of Super-Heroes and the United Planets among his personal enemies. Tellus has fought numerous threats, including: Earth-Man, the Dominators, Fatal Five, Legion of Super-Villains, etc....
_________________________________________________________________
Design Notes:Tellus is basically a PL 10 Psionic build with the Environmental features of the Warrior archetype included to explain his aquatic alien physiology. Because of the added environmental features Tellus costs more than a standard PL 10 Psionic archetype. His Hykrainite physiology also gives him several complications related to his aquatic nature, such as his dependence on a methane atmosphere to breath and his unattractive appearance to most Humanoid beings. Tellus’ Telepathy is the perfect medium for additional Power Stunts, such as: Altering Memories, Mental Illusions and Mind Control. I left these out of the build to simplify the character sheet, but these Alternate Effects could easily be used with Extra Effort or by spending a Hero Point (e.g. AE: Alter Memories: Perception Ranged Affliction 5 (Resisted by Will; Dazed, Stunned, Transformed), Continuous, etc…).

Some nice stuff so far! A couple observations:

1) You will get two or three times as many comments just by posting pictures. I personally found this to be the case with my own builds. People just loves them some visual additions to their builds.

2) Paragraph breaks and separating people into individual posts (instead of a few characters per post) would be nice as well, especially if people are looking for a specific character.

Very nice builds though! I like the "baseline" of PL 10.

Thanks. I'm new to both the Forums and M&M. I have been trying to figure out how to post pics and separate entry of the Legionnaires, but have been having problems. I could use some help on doing both. I would like to set up a Table of Contents page with links for individual pages highlighting a separate Legionnaire with a pic. If you could help me out I would appreciate it.
