As he stepped in and clapped Xiao on the shoulder, Xiao could feel Relentless clip something onto his clothing. Relentless whispered, "Since we're all giving things, take this. A pouch with a few flashbangs. Big Lion can't do much if he can't see you, right?"

He is about to ask Diana what gifts her sheild bears, but when accepting it, he looks upon its mirrored surface for but a moment, and drops the sheild in shock, the color draining from his face

"No..." he whispers,not in the dead tongue of the first age, but in his native tongue, which is understood by those with powers/devices of translation "that's not... impossible..."

but In his heart, he knows that the terrible thing he had lain eyes upon was one of many truths about himself.

he recovers, and picks up the sheild and slides it upon his arm, keeping it's face away from Relentless and Troy on instinct and so they might keep their secrets.

Discord comes up to Xiao, and pulls out a wand studded with jewels.

"A wand of Wonder, It mainly does random useless crap, but if you break it it will unleash a massive explosion of chaos magic. At close enough range it would probably even kill gruesome over there. Think of it as your suicide pill."

Xiao and the Lion vanish, they reappear on a platform seemingly in space. You can hear a massive crashing sound beneath you as the sound of a giant whirlpool directly underneath you.

looking over the edge you see it; a massive yawning black void, highlighted by the corona of stars and planets being torn apart at superhuman speeds by massive gravity.
