Oh yeah. Math bad. I wasn't clear if Kiss of Death would be covered under unarmed or not. The intent is only to use that on willing (deceived) or paralyzed targets so I'm not really worried about what its attack bonus would be. It's a pretty far from playable build anyway so I'm not going to worry about the details ;}

Elizabeth Spengler's father is a highly placed engineer working for Aegis. A couple years ago, contact was made with an alien race called the Kheldians. The Kheldians are beings composed of energy that merge with a physical host body. Like any other civilization, the Kheldians have "good guys" and "bad guys". The good guys are called the Peacebringers and the bad guys are the Warshades. To make a long story short, the Peacebringers brought a rogue Warshade to Earth in a deal with Project Valkyrie. This Warshade wanted to defect, but they needed somewhere to hide it. Dr Spengler volunteered his daughter. Liz, who dreamed of being heroic, like a lot of quiet bookish kids, agreed.

The Warshade, named Ni'Tu, joined with her a week after her 16th birthday. It gave her powers based off the energy called Nictus, which comprises the Warshade's "body" when it doesn't have a host. She can project it as an attack and use it to create a shield to protect herself. She can also temporarily turn herself into energy and teleport short distances. But the most amazing aspect is the ability to turn herself into a Dark Dwarf: a large, heavily armored creature. As the Dark Dwarf, she can smash through walls and ignore many attacks. She isn't fond of the Dark Dwarf form because it makes her feel less human and won't use it voluntarily. However, Ni'Tu will force the form on her if it feels that she is in mortal danger.

Liz is now 23, has just graduated from FCU (Electrical Engineering) and has done a little work with AEGIS as a special "internship."

This is Songbird updated to where I think she's effectively equivalent to her 2E version. Flight had to be bumped 3 ranks to get her speed back and I added Rage. Credit to Davies for the Rage construction with the addition of a 1 point Quirk to give an ill-defined "Enraged" quality to it. Basically an RP limitation that she's probably not thinking too clearly while in that state.
I also bumped her Impervious to 10, which makes her immune to the bullet firing equipment in DCA. To round her out, I added a rank in Expertise(Arcana) that I somehow forgot before and put the last skill rank into Pop Culture.

This is Christopher Wayne, a Watcher temporarily working for Division in whiteprofit's Push 2 game. Though his employment probably isn't going to last much longer. He's had visions of his death at the hands of Division agents for the last few months and has been desperately trying to find a way out that doesn't result in his death.
Chris is tall (6'2"), thin and looks nervous most of the time. He has light brown hair and blue eyes.
I don't have much else to say about the build except that he's a desk jocket who would be in over his head in a fight if he didn't have his visions to depend on.

Jhondak is my character in RedBstrd's World Moved On game. It's a combination of Michael Moorcock's multiverse and Dark Tower, which I think is a pretty cool idea. Jhondak is an ex-ship captain who was taken as a slave by Melniboneans and forced to fight as a gladiator. He escaped during the sacking of Imrryr only to be killed by the Man in Black before he could leave the Dragon Isle. Or at least he thinks he was killed. He ended up in another dimension and joined up with others who are also seeking the Man in Black. Jhondak seeks revenge and eventually a way home.
Jhondak is about average height (tall for a Tarkeshite) and very well toned. It's obvious he's had a lot of physical activity in his life. His skin is dark and weather-worn. He is from the port city of Banarva from the Western Continent nation of Tarkesh.

0100001101101000011101010110001101101011. That's Robot Boy's name on his home planet of Chapek 9. Using a popular human translation algorithm, this can be translated to 'Chuck.' He was created about three years ago by his parents. On Chapek 9, robots are created with a basic memory package and allowed to learn "organically." This resulted in 'Chuck' growing into a psychiatric role on their society. About a year ago, he was selected, at random, to represent Chapek 9 on the Legion of Superheroes. He was fitted with powerful tractor beam modules (normally used in heavy lifting and recalibrated to be much more precise) in order to be able to hold his own in combat.

This is Robot Boy, my entry into Horsenhero's unfortunately short-lived Legion X game. On Chapek 9 lives a civilization of robots which were created by a long extinct biological race. I wasn't able to get into the character much but I thought the build came out looking like something that could be fun to play.

Robin "Songbird" Greyfaulk was the only member of Team B to refuse the "invitation" to participate in the invasion of the Terminus. This wasn't an act of cowardice, exactly; she had begun to develop serious concerns about certain of her father's activities during the "Lockdown" episode, and felt obligated to stay alive and investigate them. Wainwright respected her choice ... and then activated a failsafe that left Robin locked in her normal form and sealed in her room for the duration of the mission, preventing her from "interfering". Needless to say, this choice has driven a serious wedge between Robin and the survivors of the invasion. Toxic in particular is inclined to spit at the mention of her name.

In the intervening years, and since her father went to prison for several acts of financial malfeasance (for which she's fairly sure he was only partially guilty) Robin has largely focused on keeping her family's interests afloat, with very little time for superheroics. This may be for the best; her name is still mud in the police department and district attorney's office. However, she has managed to act as a financial benefactor for Project Freedom, providing much of the backing for the refurbishment of their current headquarters -- without the knowledge of the current team.

Robin has maintained a good relationship with Donnie Benis in the last few years, contracting him several times for security consultations. She is also still friendly with Charlie Graham though they see each other only infrequently due to Robin's busy schedule and Charlie's frequent travel. Robin and Fredrick Zane haven't seen each other since Harriet Wainwright's funeral and haven't spoken in even longer. Neither of them has any problem with that. Zalman hasn't been heard from since his apparent death inside the Terminus though Robin holds out hope that death is only another obstacle for him to overcome.

Since taking over for her father running Grey Capital (she takes the day to day responsibilities while her father is still the driving force behind major decisions), Robin has been mostly focused on restoring the company's reputation, which took quite a hit when her father was convicted. They lost some clients, including a big one, and it's been a struggle to replace that lost revenue. In particular, they were forced to take on another partner in order to raise capital. This greatly changed the power dynamic in the company because, while the Greyfaulks still hold a majority interest, it's increasingly difficult to justify overruling the four other partners with a single vote.

It's been three years. I figured she must have progressed a little in that time though most of it would have been in the few months leading up to The End.

I can't wait to see what, if anything, Davies ever does with his universe. Damn I had a good time with y'all.

I've benched my post-endgame Zalman around the same level. I think I went with PL12/225 or so. Hard to remember, as I've got at over a dozen variants of him ranging from PL10 to PL26 (the later thanks to me accidentally adding 15 PL rather then 15PP in Hero Lab). Between the fact I love to tinker and that I've roughed out a fair number of stories to use him in that haven't gone anywhere, well... They just keep adding up. I should probably post a couple of them, just for kicks.

I'm honestly not sure what game would ever make the PL26 Zalman useful in, but it is amusing picturing him being able to one shot planets from across a solar system.

For laughs I'd love to see the rest of PF at PL26. I used 550PP the first time, and when Amazo's stats came out I did a 675PP version. It's quite silly.

PL26? :shock: I'm not sure I can muster up the megalomania necessary to conceive a character at PL26.

Robin at PL12 is pretty scary and that's with her taking most of 3 years off. If she'd been active, I would have added more combat capability.

Charles Kilroy is the son of a member of the British House of Lords. At an early age, he was identified as having considerable magical talent by the magician Merlin. Whether this Merlin is the Merlin of legend, a reincarnation, a descendent or just taking advantage of the name is unclear. In typical Merlin fashion, he's never given a straight answer. All Kilroy knows is that Merlin is occasionally flighty, frequently frustrating and always irritable. He was taught magic slowly and with great care. The first several years or training werefocused only on prevention of accidental power use. Young Kilroy quickly grew tired of hearing what not to do.

In spite of Merlin's pragmatic training, Kilroy started to feel superior to those who didn't have the same gift for magic that he did. He learned to do amazing things with just a thought and a gesture. Fortunately for him, he was an exceptional student or Merlin would have thrown him out on his ass. He studied hard and did what was asked of him, even if his attitude was less than exemplary.

Eventually, however, Merlin got tired of that attitude and decided to foist Kilroy off on another teacher for a while. It would be a little joke on both the teacher and student. So he sent Kilroy off to work as part of Z's team. Merlin promised Z a gifted student for his trouble-shooting team and promised Kilroy a chance to study with a master of "less subtle magics".

Heinrich Sturm spent his early 20s in the German military, which was still basically a token force at that time. He thought it was insulting that, more than 50 years later, his people were still mistrusted by the international community. It bothered him even more that his people didn't trust themselves either. Eventually, as the military became more accepted, he joined the Kommando Spezialkräfte when it was formed. They are the most highly trained of the German armed forces and he excelled in his duties.

When he was 35, his parents, who had retired to Derbyville in the United States, were murdered after a trip to one of the casinos in Arroyo Del Oro. To his distaste, they had moved there to take over what was left of his uncle's mining business. The business, which was started in the early part of the 20th century, was slowly shrinking and was sold off while the location still had some value. This sale let his parents retire comfortably without needing support.

Upon receiving word of the murder, Heinrich went to Derbyville to attend to their affairs. His inquiries with the police into the investigation left him outraged. He was told that such things were hardly a rare occurrence and that he shouldn't expect the case to ever be resolved. Incensed at the apathy of the police, Sturm resigned his commission and moved into his parents' now vacant home in Derbyville. He quickly learned that the evidence was already far too cold for him to be able to solve their murder on his own. But he did learn that there was another reason for the apathy of the police. That area was under the control of the casino cartels and there was no way the police would poke into their business for something so insignificant as the murder of a pair of retired immigrants.

Incensed at their cowardice and corruption, Heinrich decided to take his vengeance on these cartels in general. They would pay for their role in creating a society where such crime was commonplace and the authorities were unwilling and unable to do anything to stop it. He crafted a persona called Der Adler, The Eagle, and purchased a closed down auto repair shop to use as a base of operations in his vendetta against organized crime.
