Water Powers

Power Profile: Water Powers

Some might think so, but Water Powers are no laughing matter: water covers three-quarters of the Earth's surface, makes up the majority of living organisms, and is something we depend upon to survive. Control over this element ranges from the destructive power of tsunamis and water erosion to suffocating spheres and high-pressure blasts. Survive in the ocean depths, form hydrokinetic objects, and summon aquatic and elemental creatures that obey your commands with the powers of water! This product is for Mutants & Masterminds Third Edition.

An embarrassment of riches today. I really liked the Water Powers profile, I can't wait to check out the final version. :)

Just finished reading the final version. I really dig the Tsunami power, and I can't help but giggle at "Blinding Splash." All around, a great profile. I think anyone who wants to do a weather controller or water controller would probably want this one(even if you already have the Weather Control profile), just for some of the nifty water/ocean tricks.

Thanks for posting this! I've been busy elsewhere!

This Power Profile makes me want to re-create my old Aquanaut character.

I'm itching to read but I don't want to do 2 transactions through the store, so my copy, and my review is pending on H&V V2 being available on PDF for me to buy.

Still Tsunami is so very promising ...

I'm of the same mind as Jameson, although I'm pretty sure no one is champing at the bit for me to post a review. :D

And you have who appears to be Siren on the front with a cutlass she just made out of water, which shows you one of the powers inside.

I need some help here folks. Tsunami is listed as 4 pp per rank, and yet no matter how I do the math I come up with 8 pp per rank for a cost. Can somebody help me out here?

You're correct. The power's cost is in error. I've asked production to fix it at the first opportunity.

Fantastic! Err ... that's I'm not mathically challenged ;)
Also good to hear it'll be getting fixed, I'll update my review accordingly.

So, on the topic of "Tsunami" ... what exactly determines the "40 ft. inland" attribute? Can this be bought up/down/changed?

The Area modifiers are applied to extend both the length and width of the Line Area.

Oh ... well, now don't I feel like a heel. Guess I should read the *whole* description of Area. Thank you kindly, Steve!
