I believe Simon was in the same room as Tech. Also, thanks for moving things along.

I think he ment Simon's player.

But this is why Neo took a large cast since people have a tendancy to drop off. We can absorb the losses.

Ah. No idea where, physically, he is. He alluded to a potnetially busy work day in his last post. Might have rampaged into a busy work week.

I'm sorry guys, but Sakuro sussed it out: work is annihilating me right now. Spring deadlines are my kryptonite. I'm going to be mostly unavailable until the beginning of April, sorry Neo.

Ok, thanks for letting us know. Do you still want to continue playing in the game when you return? I could take over Simon in the meantime.

Quick question...we just lost Nathan, his player dropped out in a PM. Shall we recruit another or shall we stay with the current roster for the time being?

I think we'll be fine with a smaller roster. Having such a large group did slow things down in the waiting for people.

The rosster currently includes:

Graamon
Ion
Tech
Corona
Stronghold
Simon

Five or six is the average sized team. So we're still good on numbers. Ion's player is a little occupied at the moment. Simon's more so. But the rise and fall of player activity is something you need to deal with if a game is going to endure. As long as there is a core group of players to keep the story moving while people deal with real life, you're good.

But if we drop to five, then I'd say put up the recruiting sign. That number six is a nice little buffer to have.

I'm hanging on. I hope to post daily (like I used to) but it seems people have spring fever which causes more work for me. It has died some though so I'm sure I can make it.

Sorry to see you go, Simon, you had a really cool character concept. But I know how life can put a pretty decent stranglehold on gaming at times.

Six is a good player number for a PBP game for sure. So let us continue!

Nathan is the one who dropped, not Simon lol. Simon's just uber busy for 2 weeks or so.

WMD approach from the guy who is supposed to be the goodie goodie of the group. Sad. Besides, if you aren't going to make sure to hit them where it hurts, there is no reason to send them back to the other dimension. Which is why Stronghold said, take them higher and blow them. Avoids then entire potential of killing innocents too.

But we'll see if these things have a self preservation instinct.

Tech's military. He hits back and leaves it clear in no uncertain terms that he will. He tried the carrot, now it's all stick. He's hardly goody goody, honor was observed.

Besides, we're the Authority of this world. Best way to handle an enemy is let them know what messing with us costs, best to make that cost monumental, make them pay premium on every innocent they mercilessly slaughtered.

I know it's awfully brutal, but you have to consider the genre of the game. Silver age this is not. Tech will probably lose sleep over this, but the rest of you were mulling over too many details and giving whoever was controlling the carriers too much time to figure out he lost control and do something about it.

Stronghold should have been the one making a decisive course of action, but the waffling is drawing this out way too long.
