Agree. I just keep liking this series more and more.

Of particular note, there are five people inducted into the Justice League (listed alphabetically): Atom, Doctor Fate, Icon, Plastic Man and Red Arrow... and Rocket (Icon's sidekick) also joins Young Justice.

I won't mention what bad guys appear, except to say there are quite a few.

There are a few ongoing plot points dealt with in this episode, mostly revolving around the possible existence of a mole on the team... and I, for one, didn't see the big surprise coming. I thought I had a lot of it worked out, and my theories were about 80% to 90% right... But I'm still grinning ear to ear over what they did in this episode and how they did it.

I'm surprised at how jazzed I am that Icon and Rocket look like they could potentially be getting some significant air time in the future. Icon was the only Milestone series I collected from start to finish. I wasn't always thrilled with the series, but I really liked those two characters. Too bad the lawyers nixed allowing Milestone characters in the DCA books.

Is it just me or did she appear out of nowhere with no explanation and suddenly she was part of the team?

They hinted at Icon joining the JLA in a previous episode, so I am assuming therein lies her sudden appearance. I am sure they'll get into it a little more soon. Especially with the dun dun DUN! ending.

She appeared out of nowhere.
They really should have given the new girl a bit more of an intro. I've never even heard of her before.

...
And if they HAVE to keep Artimis around couldn't they go back to her Danger costume? That one was actually kind of cute.

Well, she'd appeared three times before this episode. Once during the Injustice League/Plant Monster episode, helping Icon rescue people, and was the same episode that Plastic Man, Blue Devil and Guy Gardner first made their appearances in. She also appeared briefly in the telepathic Holodeck Training Sequence Gone Wrong episode, showing up to take up the responsibilities of the fallen heroes. She then showed up in the episode where they debated new members, basically going through all of the heroes that showed up in the aforementioned Injustice League episode.

So she has shown up before in the series prior to her joining the team.

HA! Sure, action (especially in this show) is always a treat. But I think the intrigue and character/plot development is what holds this show together.

Well, that and the mostly awesome fight scenes!

I love a good fight scene, but what keeps me watching is the character development.

That, and Bruce Greenwood is the only person I've heard who can even come close to competing with Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman.

Surprised to see Icon and Rocket (fully identifed by name and with the same appearances as their comics counterparts) in the series.

Given the "not-quite" nature of their prior sightings in YJ, as I figured there were legal restrictions on their use in the animated DCU.

Any word on Black Lightning perhaps?

All my best.

I'd love to see Black Lightning, Vixen, Dr. Light, Steel, and Firehawk, and Firestorm make an appearance with the League. On the YJ side of the house, Natasha Irons, Wonder Girl (which has been rumored), Kole, Argent, Risk (especially after the way they dogged him in the TT book), and Cyborg.
