That was a very good episode. I like how they portray the Hulk; the smirk kills me.

Very excited about what's in store.

Weird thing for my household -- we'd definitely seen that Dr. Doom episode before. For the life of us, though, we can't remember where. We didn't pirate it online. Did they preview it at San Diego Comic-Con when we attended that panel and we'd simply forgotten? I can't recall!

It wouldn't surprise me if that were the case. My understanding is that all of season 2 was finished quite a while ago (thanks for holding out, DXD!!!), so maybe they did screen it at the 'Con last year?

Hey guys, guess what? According to this website, not only will the last several episodes of this season all be self contained episodes, but it's possible that the entire SHOW might be canceled.

Why?

Well, Jeph Leob is in charge of Marvel Animation, and he doesn't LIKE storyarc shows, feeling that episodes should be self-contained and that their stories shouldn't run over multiple episodes.

Oh Jeph, everything you touch you destroy.

*picks up his pitchfork and torch*

So, who's up for a road trip?

He must still be having nightmares about how awful Heroes was after the first season.
Forty six and two are just ahead of me.

Yes, that's right... We wouldn't want any ongoing story arcs or character development that might confuse pre-teen viewers who've never even heard of the Avengers outside this cartoon and the Marvel movies that've recently hit (and are still hitting) the big screen...

I really hope they don't tweak the show or its format too much and take away season-long story arcs... That's just about the only reason I enjoy watching the show to begin with... They've done a decent job so far, by my standards (ranking of "good" compared to Young Justice ranking "very good"), and I'm interested in what season two has in store... Unless they screw it up beyond my expectations, I'll be watching seasons three, four and five, should things go that far...

My DVR has today's episode running from 11:37 to 12:15. I'm not a fan of creative scheduling :x

Looks like the cancelation is confirmed. The show's ratings just weren't good enough, apparently. Maybe if there's a big turnaround because of the movie this might change, but it's doubtful.

Are you able to cite your source?

I've tried my search-fu, but I haven't found anything other than people making absurd leaps to reach the conclusion that the series is cancelled after season two.

I'm not saying you're wrong... Jut that I cannot find anything like a reliable source to verify.

Well, I went to the article linked above, which apparently was updated since it was posted. I Googled the cancellation news, and a number of other websites was talking about it with finality. I would love to be wrong about this, though.

Maybe I missed it, but none of the quotes I read said it was being cancelled. A few people seem to have written articles saying it was, but none of them give a reliable source. It's mostly people being asked and answering (paraphrased) "I don't know" or "I have no way of knowing," which has been translated by some as "They didn't say the sky wasn't falling, so it must be falling!" A change in format for the second half of season two is strongly hinted at and there's a lot of talk about Ultimate Spider-Man... And almost no direct mention of A:EMH.

Once again, I'm not saying it's not so... Just that, after having actually looked for confirmation, I haven't been able to find any.

And if the Avengers is cancelled, will they air all the Season 2 episodes, or cease showing them in a few weeks? :(

Nice little episode today, not everything is black and white in their universe. Plus Cassie Lang was a cutie. "Can we do that again, daddy?" after being shrunk and regrown.

Next week it seems we have a group fo aliens, including Rocket Raccoon.
