Shadowchaser wrote:*Haha* Yeah, Jim Lee was never my favorite artist, but I respect his output. And he seems like a super nice guy. :)

I'm attempting to get Jack to commit to a H&V 2.0 podcast soon, he already agreed to one when he did it last time. It's just a matter of finding space in his schedule to do it.

The funny thing is I actually liked allot of Jim Lee's stuff, just agree about it not fitting for EVERYTHING LoL

He does seem nice in all the interviews I see him do, so I agree with you there. :)

I am sure the time needed to get these podcasts together must be very difficult to obtain. Especially since you are all so passionate about these topics that time gets away from you guys. Eagerly anticipating the H&V 2.0 Podcast....no pressure.

I was also curious what he thought about the two new Legion comics released for the New 52.

Just letting folks know, I'm getting together with Jack Norris in a bit for his DC Adventures Heroes and Villains Volume 2 Chat! Instead of going through the entire roster of characters he's done in that book, we're going to just cover some highlights. I'll also be able to get him to help us preview some projects Vigilance Press has coming up for M&M 3E release!

If anyone has questions for Jack, feel free to post 'em here!

Ba-Da-Bing! Here it is, folks! 2 Hours's worth of Jack Norris and Yours Truly talking about ... stuff.

Including about an hour's worth of Heroes and Villains Volume 2. :)

Ahhhh good news to counter horrible allergies, could not have come at a better time. Since I was the last one to post in here for awhile, I thought I broke the forum. LoL

Can not wait, thanks for the update.

Are we going to get some actual play podcasts soon? I understand if you are too busy, but i do love them. Especially when you guys play your own characters.

That is the *intention* SM, but the past month was surprisingly bad timing for it. So I'm in the process of organizing that now. I'll make an announcement regarding actual play sessions ASAP.

It's amazing how hard it is to get the same 4 people together on a monthly basis. :)

preaching to the choir. I ended up running one offs just for that reason. Its worse now that i'm back to full time study.

LoL Is there room for one more in that choir. I am friends with all my players and It is still hard to get people on the same page. I hate when real life chooses to interfere.

Good to hear something is trying to be worked out. I can not tell you how much those actual plays and those round table talks have helped me when I run my games. Ideas O' Plenty I tell you. :D

Outstanding, really. The focus on not only more challenging adventures, but adventures presenting greater story depth and cooperative storytelling takes an already great game into the " elite " category :)

Oh thank God, I am forever having " Get the Heroes together" issues in my games. I tell my group that it sometimes feels like they are doing it on purpose. LoL

Steve Kenson, Jon Leitheusser, and Christopher McGlothlin will be stopping by tonight to join us for a discussion on how to create adventures for Mutants and Masterminds. I think it'll be a topic good for players and GMs, but we're going to focus on the GM's side of things.

For one thing, we'll be talking about balancing encounters. Another topic will be trying to find where we "get our ideas" for the story itself.

If you guys have any suggestions for questions, please leave 'em here!

Adventure Creation Podcast is up!

Hope I got to everyone's questions, we rambled a bit so I'm not sure if I hit everything on the nose... but let me know if there are any other questions you guys would like us to hit in future episodes!
