I did a quick search but i couldn't find anything that tackled this exact question, so i thought maybe i could get some opinions from everyone else.
Can multiple people, Aid Another, for different goals, and how many goals are reasonable? I know you can Aid Another for say, Attack, but what about damage? or Defense?
Example:
You have 5 people. A, B, C, D, E.
In this instance, E is the Leader of this group, so A and B use Aid Another on E to boost Attack, while C and D use Aid Another on E to boost, say, an ability check. Is that even possible?
Essentially, can one person (E) gain two different bonuses from separate people? One of the reasons i ask this, is i have planned a duplicator (sadly its either 2 or 5 dupes, i'd rather 3-4 but what can you do?). I'm looking for ways to make the duplicator viable, without being broken. Basically having 6 characters with 6 attacks, even if they aren't heroic (though they probably will be) is ... excessive. So i was thinking, i could just use Aid Another most of the time, and fluff the actual attacks any way i like.
This way (theoretically) the numbers should get the benefit from Aid Another to stay competitive, without being excessive either in damage, or number of attacks. But i'm not sure if you CAN us aid another for damage or defense, meaning the dupes become pointless if you just push your numbers towards the caps, and then just use Aid Another anyway.
If anyone has any opinions or suggestions on how to make a duplication useful and viable without being excessive i'm all ears. Also, any suggestions on ways to make it useful in combat (ranged, melee, etc) without just adding powers onto it. Trying to keep it more or less 'normal', allowing the duplication power to shine through, but not be totally useless in combat, and still have some options for the rare, low level (around PL 6) combat that does pop up.
