Vigilance Press- Print on Demand is GO!

Postby Shadowchaser » Tue Mar 20, 2012 4:00 pm

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am so very proud to announce that our first Print on Demand offering is now live at RPGNow and Drive-Thru RPG. The Oktobermen Special Edition for Mutants and Masterminds 3E is now available!

Here is the link to the item! (Before you buy, if you are a customer of the original Oktobermen PDF, please check your email for a special discount link!)

This first issue of Due Vigilance brings you a team of supernatural super villains, ready to strike fear into the hearts of your players. Bound together by greed and darker urges, the Oktobermen are mystic mercenaries eager to take on the ugliest jobs for the right price. Springheel Jack leads his team to achieve his ultimate goal: to become a crown prince of Hell! These seven unholy villains will challenge the mettle of your players. Be warned! They are fearsome foes indeed.

Adding to the terror are the Devilish Duo of Smoke and Mirrors: two killers driven by different needs but entangled by fate. One is an immortal assassin who can only be seen in reflections, and the other is a ghost who sees the world through the twisted view of her painful past. With origins dating back to before the Second World War, they can be a threat and a mystery on their own… but adding them to the roster of The Oktobermen can make the team even more dangerous than before!

For this compilation of Nightmarish Ne’er-do-wells, every night is Halloween!

Glad you liked it, Phelan! :)

I'm really looking forward to Black Chapter, but we've got a TON of other stuff on the cusp of creation as well. Limiting my announcements here to the M&M stuff, we're talking about:

Black Chapter by Jack Norris
The Forgotten 5 by Jason Tondro
Devilish Duos number 2:Windsinger and the Williwaw by Steve Perrin
SixGun (Kick-ass Cybernetic Supervillains by Rick Jones!)

And that's just for starters. :)

I haven't even formally announced Event Horizons: Elements of Ruin yet. ;)

Are the META files still in works as well? It has been a while since we heard anything about those.
Forty six and two are just ahead of me.

The METAs files are in the works! I had to push them back a bit because of a conflict of schedules with Dan, so the art style might shift a little bit, but I'm currently looking to bring in some new blood and share the work around a bit more. A solid announcement with that one should be coming out soon. Hopefully in the next week or two.

Nathan's already working on the editing and compiling. We're looking at expanding the first book to make it print-on-demand-friendly, as well, so I may announce some more people's characters for the first book in the coming weeks. I'll keep you posted!

A tease for Jason Tondro's upcoming "The Forgotten 5" super-villain team for Due Vigilance!

Tom Thumb: Art by Jesse Justice. I asked for a 60's comic book vibe, and he channeled Jack Kirby! I couldn't ask for more. :)

Love it, this is an area where channeling the Great Kirby is actually a good thing. And keep in mind I'm pretty much an Iron Age man.

And what goes better with a big ol' Caddy than a sexy femme fatale?

Theonly thing missing from the pic of Cadillac Jack is the decepticon emblem.

I think Calendar Girls is one, if not the best image I've seen from Jesse.
Love the pose, the style, the outfit and the attitude.

It's funny how much fussing there was among the three of us (Writer, publisher, and artist) to get that character right. Glad you approve. :)

I do like Calendar Girl although she does sort exemplify that Silver Age style you are emphasizing with the Forgotten Five.
