Sounds like the Alternate Project Freedom didn't go so well as the original did though.

T-man it looks like you forgot to add Dynamic to his kinetic powers. And I'm surprised at you using Wide Array. I thought the ATT had unofficially banned that extra.

Thanks. One thing I wanted to do with him is clean up his build somewhat and I eliminated several alternate powers that ended up not really getting used way back when (granted I might have used a couple of them once, maybe twice but that'd be more of a power stunt IMO). And some of you know that the stone arm was my original idea for what happened to Donnie in the original PF but couldn't for obvious reasons, well in the Alt. PF it happened....kind of. :wink:

Nope, not nearly as well. Eventually I'll get around to finishing the timeline for this setting and post it, the history of this version of PF is all in there and what happened to them.

Well Wainwright got mind-controlled into stepping down from the project, so I guess you could call that better. :wink:

I dropped out the Dynamic and went with Wide Array instead. It was something I'd talked with Davies about doing back when we were playing the Project Freedom game but decided against it since I'd have to save a ton of HP up to do it.

Wide Array isn't something I'd allow for most PCs in most cases I'd allow high level energy controllers to have to show their level of ability in manipulating their chosen field of energy. I've got a couple other builds that have it but that number, counting this version of Donnie, is at most 5 total.

But I'm pretty sure that the Wide extra only exists to give you more points to work with when using Dynamic powers. Otherwise, it doesn't do anything.

Shock is right, Wide doubles the point avaible to choose alternate powers in an Array, but it works only with Dynamic effects, since you're otherwise limited to a single AP at any time.

Well it's been a few days since I've posted anything but I've been busy none the less, I picked up the Threat Reports (which if you liked the 99 cent villain downloads I suggest you go ahead & pick up the book since it prbasically collects all of those plus some new characters on top of it along with a couple of adventures to boot), and during the quiet time I had this past weekend while having my little tattooed ones over for a vist (also known as bed time) I read it all over and managed to get a couple converted over to 2E.

So here shortly I'll be posting some of them, but I'm still working out just where they fit into my take on the FC setting, so no backrounds for them right now (but once I get it worked out I'll make the needed edits).

Own Worst Enemy: King Babylon more often than not seems to bring down his own schemes. He overreaches, or underplans, or jumps the gun, or shows his hand too early, or boasts openly about things he should be playing close to the vest, and so on. A powerful loser is still a loser.

Reputation: Other villains view Babylon as a bit of an idiot and a loser. He’s too powerful to safely badmouth to his face, but few supercriminals who’ve worked with him take him seriously.

Not a daylight kinda guy: Due to the mutations done to his body by his serums, Eclipse is extremely sensitive to light and must wear prescription glasses to protect his eyes. While working he wears a set of modified lenses of the same prescription as well as a full body covering costume.

Maybe, maybe not.

Eclipse isn't from the Threat Report book, he's from the old Palladium Books Villains Unlimited with some tweaks by me. For some reason I can't find my old, worn out copy of it now and the build is from what I can recall of the character but I saw where Crinos covered all those characters and there are a few of them I like and thought I'd add them to my WOF setting. So you'll be seeing a couple more of them in one form or another here in the next week or so but since I can't locate the book I'll have to make use of my search-fu for images to use for their builds.

And for those wondering who I'll being doing builds of from that book, here's a list.
