I was trying to develop a way to have the Enhanced power affect everything that needed it without having to write up each power individually (Enhanced Blast, Enhanced Affliction, ect.). I thought the idea of hitting it with the Extras of Broad and Simulatneous would help. Otherwise, the build would look really... cluttered. "Broad" and "Simultaneous" are found under both Nullify and Weaken, so I felt it would be no problem in using these Extras in this situation.

In the official Marvel universe, yes. But keep in mind these characters are PD's interpretations of them.

Prodigyduck is probably just going along with Claremont's stated goal of having Mystique be Nightcrawler's 'father' by having impregnated Destiny.
