Stacking Attacks.

I think I can boil my biggest issues with the 1st Edition was the ability to stack attacks together. The PL might be 10, but if you have to make saves vs. 3 powers at once when someone smacks you (Super Str, Acid, whatever). Is there a rulling as to making a unified save or the limited the number of stacked effects in a attack? :D

Generally speaking, effects that reqiure the same type of save (Fortitude, Reflex, or Will), when linked together as a single attack, have just one save. So if you link together three Fortitude effects, it's all-or-nothing on the save, one save against all three at once. This favors the target somewhat due to the spending of hero points to enhance the save.

Toughness save effects are a bit more complicated; they can stack to a degree, but the GM is recommended to limit the number of saves a particular effect invokes. I think the Aura extra (and its effect on Toughness saves) will undergo some expansion and clarification in Mastermind's Manual to address this.
