Here's a sneak peak at art from Death of Dr Null, sequel to Day of Dr Null:

It's the fine work of Daniel Garcia of Empty Room Studios. More sneak peaks from Death of Dr Null to come.

Another sneak preview from Death of Dr Null, courtesy of Jem Lewis (http://www.stickopolis.net). What can I say, I'm a sucker for stick figure comics:

What kind of evil genius would Dr Null be without filling a secret lair full of booby traps? Nefarious, dastardly, hero-eating booby traps.

Death of Dr Null, the fourth Second Edition M&M Superlink adventure from Lame Mage Productions, is now available.

Devious booby traps, atomic doppelgangers, tentacled horrors, and giant robots (well just one, but it's a really really big one). Oh, and an alien invasion - just a little one.

After Day of Dr Null and Dr Null: Battle on the Bay Bridge, it's the big finale of the Dr Null saga, so we pretty much had to pack it with good stuff:

Save the dam: Everything you need to run superhero action at a dam. Annotated diagrams, environmental hazards, and detailed Action Shticks to making saving (or destroying) the dam exciting and involving. Use it in this adventure, or steal it for another game.

Invade the secret base: Built to play comic book style, not as a dungeon crawl with capes. Includes nefarious traps designed as interactive encounters, not wandering damage. Find out what Dr Null has been cooking up in the lab.

Also includes all the old Lame Mage favorites: heroic Action Shticks, outlined Revelations, Fast Reference Sheets, rules annotated maps, Silent Sound Effects, detailed scenario variants so you can run the adventure how you want, and a horde of GM Craft tips to give you an edge at the table.

Available at YourGamesNow and RPGNow.

Now go make those players earn those Hero Points.

I was just wondering if there is any chance you will be putting the 3 Dr. Null products together into one book and offering them as a POD at some point in the future?

I honestly haven't considered it. I don't know how much demand there is for POD, or particularly for adventures as opposed to reference supplements (not that I'm saying you shouldn't keep a copy of Dr Null handy at all times  ).

My current plan is just to keep forging ahead and do more solid adventures. Plus a secret experiment or two along the side.

I always purchase the POD versions when available because I like to have access to the reading material when away from the computer - plus I like to have things on my self instead of in my computer. I just purchased the two Living Legends adventures in POD and they turned out ok. I just thought you might consider doing something like The Legend of Dr. Null where you compile all three adventures into a POD. That would come in at around 80 pages and make a nice-sized book.

The secret experiments sound interesting. :)

I looked at the POD requirements a bit, and while it's tempting it would require a substantial reformat (aka quite a bit of work). So no POD in the near future, but I'll probably format future releases so it would be easier to POD them if I go that route.

Well that is a shame, but such is life. :)

I'm having a hard time deciding if the demo download for Death of Dr Null is chunky enough. Any impressions for those who've looked at it? I updated it last night, so if you looked at it early yesterday a page has been added.

In my opinion, the Demo is fine and does its job nicely. It gives an overall feel for the tone and quality of the product, without giving so much away for free that one doesn't feel a desire to purchase a copy.

Thanks for the feedback Lee. I didn't have the the searching the base page in the first version of the demo (Dungeons & Doomsday Devices, Splitting Up the Party, etc), but I think adding it helped.

On the bright side, there's a system in RPGNow to create discounts on PODs for those who already purchased the PDF. If I eventually did do POD, I would include a discount so you wouldn't be paying for it twice.

So even if you are hoping for POD later, you don't have to worry that getting the PDF now will cost you more in the end.

As always I wanted to thank all the playtesters who helped make this adventure great, even if they didn't always save the city in the process. There's no shame in letting your fair city be flooded waist-high by a criminal mastermind... okay, on second thought there is some shame in letting your city be flooded by a criminal mastermind, but good work nonetheless!

Death of Dr Null Playtesters:

New Century City
Gavin "Shadow" Cummins
Paul "Dr Daedalus" Ellis
Mike "Hammer" Frost
Chris "Moon Man" Haddad
Robert "Stardust" Haskell
Jem "Eclipse" Lewis
Ching-Ping "Captain Danger" Lin
Seth "Guardian" Richardson

Nexus
Mary "Storm Knight" Clegg
Rob "Kuma" Martinez
Nancy "Momentum" Willingham
Ron "Asphalt" Willingham
with special appearances by Katie "Destroyer of Worlds" Willingham
GM Bob Huss

Strike Force
Besheer "Shadow Snake" Mohamed
Joshua "Montage" O'Connor-Rose
Sacari "Aziza" Thomas-Mohamed
with special appearances by Thelonious "Johnny Elf" Linford and Ellington "I'm not Incredible Hulk" Linford
GM Jake Linford

Special thanks to Stephen Scholz and Ching-Ping Lin.
