Some people say 'if you can't beat them, join them'. I say 'If you can't beat them, beat them', because they will be expecting you to join them, so you will have the element of surprise.

"You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe."

Pskyer (-4 pp)

“The Daemon has many forms. You must know them all. You must tell the Daemon from his disguise and root him out from the hidden places. Trust no one. Trust not even yourself. It is better to die in vain than to live in abomination. The zealous martyr is praised for his valour, the craven and the unready are justly abhorred.”
-Excerpted from the First Book of Indoctrinations.

The psyker drawback comes with a whole package of drawbacks in and of itself, plus an armload of Complications within Imperial society. The roll of a one when making an attack or other check with a psychic power should force a will save, the failure of which results in various problems ranging from migraines to full-blown daemoniac possession. I may sort a table at some point, but for now I’ll leave it to the DM. It also adds vulnerability to various anti-psyker weaponry, and may have other attached drawbacks or complications as appropriate.

In combat against Daemons he’s just plain nasty with Banishment and Favoured Enemy, but his other abilities mean that he’s no weakling when dealing with anything else.

In customisation, consider dropping or altering the psychic powers or devices and/or adding in Minions and equipment. An Inquisitor without psychic powers is liable to at least grab a bolter, whereas those without armour are more liable to focus on stealth abilities of one sort or another, or simply be very good at not being hit.

The most populous race in the Warhammer 40,000 setting, who would easily overrun everyone else if they could stop fighting each other long enough to actually get organised…

This is the basic Ork warrior, or Boy (plural Boyz). I shall see about a conversion for some of the other members of orcish society (Grotz, Mekboyz, Painboyz, Runtherdz, Weirdboyz, Nobz, Warbosses and so-on), but I have other plans first.

Tactics?

Living tanks used by the Tyranid Hive Fleets as shock assault units, the so-called “Screamer-Killer” variant eschews more advanced ranged weapons symbiotes in favour of massive claws and a bio-plasma attack (the high-pitched noise created by the generation of this is responsible for the high pitched screech from which this variant’s name is derived).

It’s big and scary, and is in the habit of ripping things to bits and vomiting corrosive death on what’s left. What more do you want?

Woo... Warhammer 40K baddies and characters!

(The Warhammer 40K demon arenas were the inspiration for my character the Bison's origin.)

If I could make a request I'd like to see some of the Spacemarine hero characters. Maybe Marneus Calgar or Tigirius? I know Azrael, the Keeper of Secrets, Grand Master of the Dark Angels. The guy has an artifact that belonged to Lion El'Jonson, his hat is 10000 years old.

I'm working on the Marines, but I'm trying to squeeze them down to viable PL 9s, and they don't fit too well...

Once I have a viable basic marine, Calgar and Cassius will be the first on my list, followed by Captain Stern of the Grey Knights.

Yes! In your face enhanced physiology!

Ahem, I have managed to get a viable Battle-Brother. Huzzah!

This now means Space Marine characters. Expect Calgar, Tigurius and Abbadon

*Fitted to armour

The “basic” Space Marine, in this case one of the glorious Warriors of Ultramar (changes to chapter would mostly result in a slight shuffling of skills and/or feats). Most of their enhancements are fairly standard super-soldier fare, and I’ve lumped the vast majority of the implants’ effects (Secondary Heart, Ossmodula, Haemastamen etc) into being part of either the enhanced abilities or the saves. The Omophagea is of special note, giving the marine the ability to gather information from a slain foe by consuming a part of their corpse (usually the brain). The Betcher’s Gland gives the ability to secrete acit, which can be spat as a short-ranged attack, or used to literally chew through steel bars given enough time.

ORKS!
'Ere we go! 'Ere we go! 'Ere we go!

I think the basic ork would be a lot stronger then a base line human. They're supposed to be able to rip a normal man's arm off without that much effort. Not as strong as a Space Marine, but still a bit stronger then this.

Also, could probably use a bit of regeneration. They're supposed to heal fairly fast.

I was concidering bumping up the strength, but discounted it for the following reasons:
1. They're S3 in 40K, and the WFRP versions arn't that far outside what's possible for a human either. Of course, this is the basic Ork, and there's a LOT more variation in the race than amongst humans.
2. Str 16 is nothing so sniff at.
3. It needs to fit in a PL6, because frankly the average Ork should not be above this.

Ork healing isn't so much faster as better, and I think Con 20 reflects this.

I'm not exactly sure what happened. Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another... If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!

The Emperor and Primachs? No. Firstly because there's no real reference as to exactly how powerful they were (other than very), and secondly because I can't see them getting used in-game.

Ghaz and Wazdakka are on the list, as is the Lictor, Hormagaunt and Dominatrix (!)
