Well, the title pretty much says it all...

Here I sit again.. preparing to edit my thread. Once again, my mind has taken me in divergent directions. I pre-ordered the 3E pdf and rulebook combo when it was offered. I have been slowly building up a campaign and I have been toying with different character designs. I finally settled back on one of my favorite characters... The Horseman
I created a lot of material for the Horseman in 2E and now I am moving him into 3E.

:arrow: This is the character that I play in our current campaign. Basically, he is an homage character to Iron Man. ... :roll: OK... he is a copy of Iron Man. I borrowed a lot of ideas from the different builds on the boards. I have to say that I stand in awe of the many fantastic builds on this board.

:arrow: The basic premise is that the helmet of the suit is cloaked with a digital "liquid crystal"matrix that effectively makes the head invisible.

:arrow: Horseman 1.0 - 2.0 was a radically diffferent design in that it was a rider on a mechanical horse that could merge to form the Horseman.

It has been a while since I posted in this thread... My family has been a huge focus of my time these last few weeks so I have not been doing much else.

Here is a second character I made while on the Power Armor kick. It was designed as a mystical version of the Horseman. In our campaign world, the Horseman is the equivalanet of Iron Man. As such, I am designing other armor suits that are job specific.

:arrow: I got the picture from the Deviant Art website. It was orginally called Atlantean Armor. A variant take on Iron Man.

:arrow: The concept for the Witch Stone armor is that the Horseman and Dr. Adrian Eldrich worked together to create a suit of armor capable of fighting supernatural threats. The end result is a magically-powered Horseman Armor.

:arrow: YES.. this armro was inspired by the Thor-buster armor.

I heard about the book... VAMPIRE$ but never read it... It was a character that I liked since it turned the vampire hunter archtype on it's ear... and thanks for looking at my thread..

Well, first, disable smiles. All your eights are smiles.:) Second, you can save 14 equipment points by making the crossbow and the spear AP's of the pistol. it's like the utility belt, basically. And you might want to specifically call out the modifed damage for each weapon with a sneak attack, and the total to hit vs vampires, so people can see you are meeting your caps. Other than that, the math is good, and it's a faithful build.:)

I must say of your builds so far I like the Horseman the best. Cool concept, good execution. Although you should disable the smilies in that one as well, or respace the 8 and parentheses.

:arrow: I got my hands on an old copy of CROOKS (1E) and I opted to convert over the Bestiary to 2E stats.
I will convert them as closely as I can without tweaking them at all. I figured that I would post them in the "pure" translation and then I will go back and tweak them a little.


:arrow: Undine seems to me to be a secondary hitter. She is incredibly fast in the water to the point of being insane. 100,000 ft/rnd????

I just watched Meet the Robinsons that my son was given for Christmas. I really enjoyed the movie and I really liked the Bowler-Hat guy....

Not familiar with the Robinsons, but did you mean to give the Bowler Hat Guy a strength of 10. Also, does he have any skills?

Glad you like the Witch Stone Armor. It is one of the variant suits that the Horseman uses.


I am slowly working on converting all of the Bestiary. Undine was the first one I picked. I am working on Chimera now..
