Running a Zombie Infestation

Again, I come to this forum looking for help. I'm trying to run a zombie infestation in a small town for my 6-player PL-7 group. I was borrowing from a D&D adventure, but the action seems a little... stale. So far, my WWII series is going great, with a nice pulp feel to it. Thus, I want that my zomb...

Re: Advice on Gothic Witch Power Set

Thank you all for your replies!!! I think I'll merge some of your ideas. However, I've got a question about JDRooks suggestions: How do you create a power that works one way with certain kind of creatures, and other way with all others??? Would that be handled through an Alternate Effect with the Li...

Advice on Gothic Witch Power Set

Hi, all... Long time away from these forums... I want your help with a suggested power set for a witch character who devotes her life to fight vampires and other creatures of the night. However, I don't want her powers to be too restrictive, so as to limit her to a certain kind of enemies. To get th...

Best Non-Marvel Mutants

For you, who are the best non-marvel mutants??? Just to clarify, my understanding of mutants are humans who develop powers "naturally" from birth or at some stage during their lives (Teen age, usually), because they inherited them from their parents or foreparents (Who may or may not have the same p...

Re: I need major help building a paragon goddess character.

If I'd know he mastered other groups, I'd say we have the same GM :D Well, on to the advice: As others before me, I don't see the "mousey librarian" or the "goddess of Hope" themes. For the first one, I'd recommend taking a few ranks on Expertise, to reflect her knowledge. For the second one, I'd re...

Re: Easily Forgettable

Depends on how extensive it is. Do people forget while talking to your character? After your character leaves the room, do people remember talking to someone, but can't describe who? Can a target overcome the forgetting with effort/a good save and if so, does it stick? Ok, good question... As I und...

Easily Forgettable

Well, a little while ago I asked for some help with a character whose main power is to be ignored by most people (Making her an ideal spy). I received a lot of help from MistahFixIt and JDRook, and I haven't thanked them yet, so I do so now. :) Now, my player also wants her to be easily forgettable....

Re: Class Skills

I agree, Class Skills are one of the worst parts of D&D, and most of its children (Pathfinder, Trailblazer, Fantasy Craft) have done something to make them less restrictive. One of the best things about M&M is that you can create the character you want, without having to restrict to predefined stand...

Re: extras on enhanced advantages?

Interesting. Never looked at it that way. I guess that would grant a huge deal of new "powers" to play with.

...and some really weird combinations -Consider Enhanced Benefit (Wealth) with Activation and Area of Effect -

Re: extras on enhanced advantages?

Technically speaking, yes. Your examples would, therefore, grant your advantage to others in an area or by touch, respectively.

Re: Critical Knives

Nice!!!

Another one could be Handle Hit: Ranged Affliction (Resisted and Overcome by Fortitude; Dazed, Stunned), Limited Degree, 1 point per rank

However, they all tend to rely on Affliction. The only effect I find that could replace Damage or Affliction is Weaken.

Critical Knives

To play in my WWII campaign, one of my players created a knife-throwing jesuit monk ("Daga de Dios") who believes himself to be "The Justice of God". The character creation process was very straightforward, as the hero relies mostly on Abilities, Skills and Advantages. However, when we started playi...

Re: Character Creation: Electricity Manipulator

2e M&M's [Book of Magic] had an option to take any of the individual uses of Hero Points and buy them as a limited number of uses, of which the Luck reroll is the most common. You could give your Batman-type a few Inspiration points to represent his World's Greatest Detectiveness or your Wolverine ...
