And yes, I plan on him having comprehend, as well as being an inventor with the Improvised Tools advantage so he can fly off and build stuff to save the day like he used to.

Well, he's not actually THE bronze age Superman... but he is an homage to the days where Superman was just as much a brilliant scientist and explorer as he was an adventuring hero. I put a hard cap for my PCs at PL 13 (they're at 12 right now) and I'm scaling my Superman to operate as an overcost PL...

Superman's IQ

In game terms, what score would you give Superman as he appeared in the Bronze Age? I was thinking along the lines of 7-8, coupled with Eidetic Memory, and some Skill Focus.

Whoops, forgot to reply to this. The only Gamera movie I saw was a more modern one a couple years ago (he fought a bunch of giant bird things... Gyaos or something?), but I didn't much care for it. The was Gamera: Gaurdian of the Universe. That was the reboot film that started the trilogy in the '9...

I'm GMing a game in future DC where all of the characters are either legacy characters or fit the archtype of the original JLers. It's a lot of fun because it is set far enough in the future that I don't really have to stick to any real continuity or time frame.

Let's say my superhero wants to have a suped up P-51 that, aside from flying is also amphibious (think Sky Captain), could I have that as an AE off of it's flight?
