Re: Emerald City Is Here!

Foreshadow looks down the bottom of a can of worms he didn't know he opened. Spoiler (dont' read if you haven't read the darn module) I will add that the start of ECK states if your hero doesn't already have powers they soon will via the silver storm, and sets it up that more than likely tha...

Re: Emerald City Is Here!

Emerald City Knights assumes all heroes are human. It mentions costumed heroes aren't really part of the landscape, though occasionally. Then in the first scene sets up that those who aren't super should not be in the epicenter of the silver storm. If a character is not super but more like a tech wi...

Re: I need a name for my superhero high school

Basically you want a name that is linked to a famous comic writer or artist? Why not just go with Stan Lee (over the school entrance it says "Only True Believers Need Enter" or if you want to kiss some current butt, go with one of the current top writers of marvel or DC. Who is that current big edit...

Re: I need a name for my superhero high school

High School X for the title of the comic, and the specific name of the school: The Jorel Institute for the Gifted if its a school like that. If its a norman school: Lee Adams High It really boils down to the specific nature of the school: public, private, military. I'd assume a school like Xavier wh...

Re: Emerald City Is Here!

You can have both though, the idea is if they are printed in the book you must use them. Instead you can have a portfolio of 'heroes and teams' that the GM can put in but aren't assumed to be there. A plug and play approach. what that means is GR, if they wanted to, could do an add on pdf including ...

Re: The Algernon Files Lives!!

I really liked the art for (I think his name was Figment?) he was that imaginary guy. I would think any new art for him would be awesome. Yes, I like that art. and if the intention is to add new art, re-do many or all of the old characters and then add some extra. I'd be down with that and support a...

Re: Emerald City Is Here!

In other words the book could be called:

GMing through baby steps.....or.....Supers Campaign Design for DUMMIES!

It would have been great to actually have it in that yellow Dummies style book. "Emerald City for DUMMIES!"

That is good as that approach works very well. I'm glad they did that.

Re: Name for an alternate reality Superman?

Call him Supreme, it is fitting of his villainous, anti-heroish background.

"I am SUPREME"

Re: **NEW** WatchGuard: Les Supérieurs!!

How about a british duo called Fish and Chips. One has aquatic 'fish' related powers (like a merman) and chips can be interpreted a few ways.

Re: Freelancer Interviews

That makes sense. Focus on player book stuff then if you do anything, that way its all relatively 'safe' material. I would not want to spoil anyones campaign.

Re: Freelancer Interviews

Let me clarify. Thus far I see EC ("this product") as being a game setting where it was decided to keep things open ended and a place where the initial supers creating event happens as the campaign starts. You could this in Freedom City with the campaign starting with the Terminus invasion, but cons...

I want to know more about how this product differs from Freedom City and thus I'd want probing questions the person worked on in that regard.

Re: Strength, Lifting and PL questions

There is not actual correct answer except for GR designers who should have a regular build pattern they put in a free doc they hand out to freelancers thus there is an actual consistency between characters. Sure you can make it different, but they won't as they are holding to that consistency.

Re: Emerald City Is Here!

Question: why is this product listed for 35 bucks at many stores, such as the WarStore where I buy miniatures and says you can pre-order it for that much, but now it is more. Does that mean the price paid as pre-order will go up before the product ships to those who order from those stores?
